Havana Joe Oxford - This shoe is of superior craftsmanship. It fits true to size. Looks like it will last a long time.

Just a great shoe - I am now on my third pair of Havana Oxford's. I bought my first pair six years ago out of an act of desperation. I bought a pair of shoes a half size too small from Sears (because they didn't carry half sizes above size 11). After three hours of wearing those shoes, the pain was unbearable. I immediately went to the mall to find a new pair of shoes. I needed something appropriate for going between the office and construction sites. The only thing that I could find in the entire mall was the Havana Joe Oxford (Manchester, NH didn't have much of a mall). These shoes felt like heaven, especially after getting blisters from the shoes from Sears. I just had a hard time justifying $155 for a pair of shoes that would be used on construction sites. But, the soft leather lining was too much to refuse. I bought them and it was one of the best decisions I have made. These shoes are not only extremely comfortable, they are also very practical. The brown greasy leather is water proof and cleans up easily. A coat of wax (included with the shoes) makes them look like new. I wear mine for all but the dressiest of occasions. The durability of these shoes should be obvious. Six years and three pairs of Oxfords. Quick math should tell you that these shoes last. And that first pair I bought six years ago? I still use them for working around the house.

FINALLY A QUALITY SHOE! I've had these shoes for about 4 years, and these are not the shoes I put on Sundays or a couple times a week. I wear them to work on weekends to the club in the snow... the best shoe ive ever owned!

Did not realize how much the shoes were worth until now, but I'll tell you, I never felt as comfortable in a shoe as this. An obvious sign of meticulous craftsmanship. The shoe is as handsome as it is comfortable and built to last.

I wear these shoes at least 5 days a week. I walk on concrete floors all day at work and never come home to my feet hurting. Passes for a casual work shoe or a night out on the town shoe

best darned shoes money can buy I just passed the 6 year mark with my "Joes". I wear them 6 days per week, and have walked through mud, snow, heat, everything. I've owned several other imitators, but nothing else feels this comfortable, lasts this long, and still cleans up well enough for a night out. These are great shoes!

Highly Recommended I've owned Doc Martens and Timberlands and these are by far my favorite pair. Wear them 3-4 days a week, and they've lasted about 4 years.

Excellent shoe - Best fitting shoe for wide width I've ever owned. I've owned several pairs of the Greasy Black shoe. They usually last a few years, but this last pair from Zappos lasted just under a year before the soles wore through. Might be the manufacturer, but for $155, these shoes should last longer.

Good Shoes! Comfortable all day long, which is more than you can say for a lot of shoes. Waterproof was a factor in this purchase, and I am not disappointed--they remain dry and look great after a typical day in wet grass, mud puddles, etc.

Havana Joe's Oxford Very comfortable, rugged shoe. I bought these to get me through the rainy winter season here in California. The inside is nicely padded in the approriate places. The leather lining on the inside is very soft and smooth. They are relatively heavy but don't feel so upon wearing. The removable insole is contoured and provides good support. A nice touch is that they come with a canvas bag, waterproof wax, sponge, and extra laces. Although, the shoes are very well constructed, there are several of extraneous glue "smudges" throughout. The grooves between the thick rubber lugs on the outsole tends to trap mud and dirt. I bought the "brown greasy" color and they are MUCH darker in real life than depicted in the picture. When treated with the waterproofing wax, they become more like a dark chocolate brown. I could do without the big embossed "Havana Joe" logo on the heal and the yellow logo on one of the lugs. However, I would recommend these shoes for someone looking for a comfortable, rugged, waterproof shoe that can be worn to the office as well as outdoor activities.

This Havana Joe model used to be my favorite shoe until it was re-designed with different leather and fit. Seems much wider & longer. Now also too tight at top of foot to accommodates an orthotic insert. Recently purchased same size & style as my previous 8 pairs...packed them for walking trip in Ireland. Disappointed by poor fit as this re-design is very different from previous model.

The oxford shoe was the best until the changed the feel of the leather and the fit for my size 40. I noticed the length and width was different.

Comfort plus - I'm buying my third pair of Greasy Blacks today. The other two pairs have both been resoled, the last one 2 times to include the "inners." Why? Because they are the MOST COMFORTABLE shoes I have ever worn! I wish that their soles would last better than they do. It seems like the "aftermarket" soles last easily twice as long.
