I have these sandals in multiple colors. They hold up well and have great arch support. If you have plantar fasciitis you need these.

These quickly became my favorite shoes. At first I was worried because it seemed like they hit my feet in all the wrong places, but I had some Birkenstocks many years ago and I knew that they would mold to my feet. And they did after wearing them only a few times. I don't feel the plastic toe piece at all, maybe because I'm used to wearing flip flops. These shoes seem true to size for me. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5, so I got the size 39 and it worked fine. I also have a very high arch, so I can only wear sandals with adjustable straps. I had to use the outermost hole, but at least that fit. They stay on my feet well and don't flop like flip flops. In my opinion they are more stylish than regular Birkenstocks and could be dressed up or down. I am a very low-maintenance fashion girl, and I think these will be suitable for anything that I do. I live in a part of California where it's usually pretty warm and dry, so I'm planning on wearing these almost year-round. The only possible negative thing I can say is that at first I had a hard time driving with them because the thickness of the sole made it hard to feel the pedals. But I got used to it and it's not a problem anymore.

I love these. I've been wanting a pair for a long time, finally bought them. They were comfortable right from the beginning (but I am an avid flip-flip wearer). The titanium color is a metallic olive green and goes with everything. I ordered a 41 based on the recommended size, but returned them for a 40, which fit perfectly. I'm a 9.5 usually.

Love my Gizeh Birkenstocks. This is my second pair. They are very comfy!

I'm a size US 6.5 and had ordered the Arizona sandals in 37(6-6.5) but it was too big and did not come 36 so I changed it for this model and the 36 fit perfect! I have the black Birko-flor and they look and feel really nice on my feet! :)

This will be my third pair of the Gizeh Birkenstocks. They are the best shoes ever. It is starting to get colder here in California but I refuse to wear any other shoes. I get so many compliments on them also. I am buying the white ones today because I will be getting married in them in January. Yep, that is right, I am getting married in Birkenstocks! Buy the shoes, you will not regret it. People are commenting about them hurting the first couple days, and that is true. Give it a couple of days. You will not want to take them off after that.

I love this shoes. They are very comfortable and good looking! I have also in brown and white antique, all of then are amazing!

Customer Service is 5 star! The sandals I ordered were too big and Zappos had the correct size out to me the next day. They sent me what I ordered but it was just too big. When I received the replacement sandals, they fit like a glove. Zappos has given me 2 weeks to get the first order back to them and I have still only paid once. How nice they trust me!

Very cute and comfortable. The brown birko-flor material has a coppery shimmer to it which does not convey in the pictures. I was not expecting this but I do not mind it. I normally wear a size 7 and have small feet. I ordered a size 37 narrow and they fit perfectly.

Okay, normally I wear a 6.5 or a 7. I read one review that said to size up, so I got the one that is supposed to be 7-7.5 (the 38). Wrong. They were boats. Without going into agonizing detail, I had to go down to the tiniest size, the 35. Now, my feet are not miniscule. They are small, yes, but they are not even close to 4-4.5 in any American sizing. Not sure what's going on, but I wanted to cry each time I sized down and they still didn't fit. Thanks Zappos for all the free shipping, and let's hope the 4th time is the charm!

These seemed stiff at first but I broke them in in about a day...and now I love them. You could not take them off my feet. they are so comfortable. I ordered a 40 regular (I wear a size 9.5 and have flat feet) and feel these are true to size...very happy with my purchase and highly recommend them.

The Gizehs are my favorite Birkenstock shoes! They have great arch support really help me with my plantar fasciitis issues. The color on these is great and versatile.

Bought these for my daughter and she loves them! So comfortable and look great! With the warm temps in Cali these have been a great back to school shoe, too!

I walk everywhere in these, and wear them almost exclusively when it's above 10c/50f. Great arch support,comfortable, slips on like a flip flop but stays put once on. They are very durable, though the rubber sole does start to wear down with heavy use. I end up replacing them every 2-3 years, but that's after at least 1000 miles of wear, so I might not be the average user.

I wear a 7 mostly, sometimes a 7 1/2. Was recommended I order a 38 according to the size chart. They were HUGE on me. Was able to exchange them for a 37 and they fit perfectly. I have worn these with dresses, skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans, cut off jean shorts, and even at work with business casual pants (you can find cute outfit ideas with these Birks on Pinterest). I have had horrible back issues which is why I ordered these in the first place. Between physical therapy and wearing these shoes I am on the mend!

I'm new to Birkenstocks & was pleasantly surprised by their comfort & quality of workmanship. (I found the more-costly Mephiso to be poorly made.) If your feet are narrow, the footbed of Naot & Mephisto should fit, but I need the shape & width of Birkenstock's. I thought I'd prefer leather, but Gizeh's Birko-Flor is softer & not so thick as the Oiled Leather & costs less! My shoe-size is 7 1/2, but the 7-7.5 was too long; the 6-6.5 is perfect. I now have the Gizeh in pretty Insignia Blue & practical Toffee!

I usually wear a 39 Euro size but had to downsize to a 38 in these (I'm a solid 8.5 in US sizing). Takes a bit to get used to the toe bar but they feel great after a couple of days!

This review is for all my other small footed sisters out there :) love these - these are my first pair of real Birkenstocks and they are worth every penny. There was a really good review I read on here,however I find the fit of the Gizeh right on target. I have small feet and usually wear a US size 5.5,in Europe I am a full 36 so I ordered exactly that and the fit is great. It is sometimes not so easy to find what I want in my freakishly small shoe size. And who wants to run around in flip flips or Kiddy shoes all summer right? I knew I had to wear them a couple of times to break them in, but I found them super comfortable right away , the plastic toe piece does not bother me at all and the sandal is all I had hoped for.They go with almost everything and they help with my mild plantar faschitis issues. I will for sure purchase more Birkenstocks if they have other stylish options available - I would have happily also purchased the platform sandals but they do not come in my size :( As always Zappos service was great , the shoes were at my door step the next day like magic. BTW - I lost all fear ordering shoes online with Zappo- even returns are super easy with them.

These are quite possibly the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn. True to size. I wear them on an almost daily basis. The color is pretty and perfect for wearing with jeans or a simple dress.

Love them! Very comfy and the blue is so pretty. I am normally a 7.5 and occasionally an 8. I have a wide foot. The 38 fits great.

I own several pairs of Birkenstock sandals and Gizeh is my favorite. I have Gizeh in Onyx, which is a neutral gray, almost metallic, and now in Black, which is a flat black. The thong is comfortable and does not scratch or pull. I traded in the Mayari for another pair of Gizehs because I had a hard time walking in the Mayari.

First pair of Birkenstocks and I love them! Comfortable from the moment I slipped my feet into them and even more comfortable after a few days of wear. Definitely a fan - will be buying a second pair soon.
