This was my first pair of Birkenstocks and I am hooked! They are super cute and don't take long to form to your footbed. Love this style!

I really love these sandals. In sandals, I am normally a 7 1/2, but I ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly. They are comfortable and stylish; very happy with the purchase.

I'm a true 9 and I find that size 39 fits me perfectly. This is my 3rd pair! I wear them all the time and they last for about a year ( I live in Southern CA so I wear them year-round). I get lots of compliments on the color.

I have a couple of pairs of the Gizeh (silver and black birko-flor) and wear them endlessly through the spring and summer, and they're still going strong! This is also a great style if you're new to Birkenstocks because I find them to be more versatile than the classic Arizona; these are visually lighter and fit more securely. While I still don't understand Birkenstock's sizing at all (I usually wear somewhere between an 8 or 9, and I'm a 37 in Birks which supposedly is a women's 6 - 6.5!), they are at least consistent across their brand. I'm a big Birkenstock fan now and will never need to wear flimsy flip flops as summer shoes again. If you have high arches like me, you will particularly appreciate these!

Beautiful blue color, the footbed molded to my feet nicely. A word of warning, though - if the footbed gets too worn, it starts to stick to the bottom of your foot and cause blisters. You can refresh the footbed with water and baking soda to make it like new again.

I love these things! I fought getting into Birkenstocks for years, and I had always worn simple rubber flip flops on the weekends, which of course have no support. My pilates teacher has told me for a long time how terrible they are, and I realized my cat likes to chew on the Havianas, so I decided to take the plunge and buy a pair of Birks. I think the Gizeh is one of the more feminine styles, and I wanted to have something to keep my foot stable. I was told that at first, it takes a few wearings to get used to these shoes, and that is definitely the case. I wear a 10 in tennis shoes and boots, and that size was just too big, so I sized down and got the 9. These sandals are like shoes without a top. On the weekends, and mostly when not at work, I just want an easy slip on/slip off shoe and I hate to wear shoes and socks. After wearing these for four days in a row, I am thrilled with them! They cradle your foot and support them like nothing else I have worn. At first they felt hard, but now I am used to them. I think this is a start to a new era in weekend and casual footwear for me.

I LOVE these shoes. So comfortable. This is my second pair; I do think the metallic silver took longer to stretch/conform to me but that’s a small point. I have wide feet so I wish they came a little wider but they are great. I wear them at work and my feet are not in pain at the end of the day. I don’t have an issue with the plastic toe part but I do wear them daily so am really used to them. I’m an 8 usually but wear a 37 in birks.

These are my first birks. I was looking for shoe that allowed me to walk a few miles comfortably but still looked cute and feminine. These are winners--much more feminine than traditional birk styles. I usually wear size 9 regular width shoes, so I was on the fence about which size to order. I ended up getting a 39 narrow, and they're perfect.

Love these! This is my first Gizeh purchase as I have the Mayari's . The sizing, I wear a us 7 and purchase a 37 as the 38 is way too big. The thong portion did not bother me at all. It's a little stiff the first wear but after an hour they are fine. You cannot go wrong with these and the color is an off white pearl which is eye catching.

I ordered the "Antique Lace" color, which looked pale pink online. It is really more of a pearl color, which I actually like better.

I just can't say enough about Zappos! I ordered these shoes and it felt like hours later they arrived. I have fought ordering Birkenstocks for a while now, but from running so much, my podiatrist told me it was a must. I ordered several colors and finally settled on licorice. The black colorway was too much...but licorice was perfect! Thanks Zappos for great SD how's and over the top customer service!

I purchased these after having plantar fascia surgery on my right foot, as I needed something with firm arch support for my still-healing foot. These were perfect! They are *very* firm when you first wear them and it takes a bit of getting used to. Once you wear them a few days though they become very comfortable. I would recommend not fitting the adjustable straps too tight to begin with because the leather does stretch with wear and you will end up adjusting them tighter the more you wear them.

With over 1000 reviews, who knows if mine will get read. Regardless - have to give my thoughts. At first, the shoe took some getting used to. It's not comfortable in the sense of "Oh! So cushiony" or what have you. But last week I wore them to an O's game where we were standing room only. I was on my feet for 4 hours. Any other shoe - I would have been sore and uncomfortable w/ a sore back w/in the first hour. No question. But in these shoes? I was fine the entire time. I never felt tired, my back never got sore. So happy about this. As another review I read said - I'm just sad I can't wear them in the winter!

I have taken time to break them in as Birkenstock recommended, and though they are not totally broken in yet, I find them to be quite comfortable. I was wary of the toe piece. Sometimes the shoe does slide a bit off my foot and I feel the toe piece then, but overall it fits well. I think that as the shoe breaks in it will really end up being a great purchase. It was true to my size in length and width. Also at first one of my longer toes hit the front edge of the shoe and that concerned me, but after a few wears, that part of the sole accommodated that toe and now I don't even notice it at all.

Best shoe purchase to date. I was hesitant at first to venture into the world of putting comfort over style when it comes to shoes...but with these I didn't have to compromise at all. I get compliments on them frequently. They are flattering and work with my business casual wardrobe well. Size 39 fit my 8.5-9 size foot well.

Love! I ordered the 39 and I wear an 8.5 normally. These sandals are so comfortable. I'm going to cry when it's winter and I can't wear them. I got the Licorice (black). Love it. It's not super shiny like patent black, but not dull like the regular black. Just a nice sheen. Seriously love them.

Can I just say 'wow'? I have early onset arthritis in my knees and hips from a car accident and when I wear these I have no discomfort whatsoever. I'm planning on getting a pair of Birkenstock shoes next, and plan to never be without a pair again.

Love these! So comfortable and pretty chic looking, all things considered. I would only caution to order a size below what Zappos recommends if you don't know your sizing using European numbers - I'm just about a perfect size 8 and I got a 38, which Zappos says is for 7-7.5. They fit me perfectly.

I love these sandals! I have them in black leather and patent, red patent, rawhide, white, and navy. I put them on, and off I went. I never had any discomfort. I received lots of compliments.

I love these shoes! I am planning on ordering another pair in a different color. These shoes are so cute and I get compliments on them all the time. They are so incredibly comfortable that I want to wear them everyday! They did take a few wears to break in so don't wear them on a long day of walking before you break them in. These shoes have great support.

I bought these shoes for my daughter and she loves them. She already had a pair in a different color but was so pleased with them she asked for another pair.

I haven't worn Birkenstock's for many years, but always loved them when I did. Needing a replacement for my everyday sandals, I found these. When I found out I could get them in silver, I was sold. True to every Birkenstock I've owned, they didn't need any breaking in and have stood up well. The silver is fantastic. My son calls them my robot shoes.
