I LOVE these shoes! I've had a pair of birks since 1990!! Nothing beats the comfort. I grew up in Oregon, so they're right on par for there. These are stylish and super comfy. I have always loved the classic birks, but these are a must-have as well

These are so comfortable! They run big so if your a 1/2 size definitely go down not up. I honestly never thought I would own a pair of Birkenstocks because I always thought they were hideous. I really like the Gizeh style though. It's a complete bonus that they cost less then the Arizona.

I have slim, wide feet and can fit in 5.5 or 6 US or 36 Euro. After reading so many reviews and googling how Birkenstocks should fit. I decided to go with Euro size 35 (4-4.5 US), which was a perfect fit. After breaking them in a couple weeks (a little at a time as recommended), they are comfortable. The arch support is great. In addition, the toe bar helps my toes grip the shoe, which was a little uncomfortable at first, but also prevents my toes from going flat. I just did not notice how flat footed I was until I tried Birkenstock. Going to buy more in this style, but it's hard to find them the right color in my size.

Good support. I have a high arch and it fits nicely. Love the color.

I always love these Birkenstocks. I have about four pairs. They are so comfortable for all day wear.

Very stylish, comfortable, versatile sandal. I think the sizing is very accurate. Love the nice hint of gold in the color!

I have several of these and love them all. The size is always right, and the quality is always high.

Like other reviewers, I found the strap in between the toe a little stiff. As I have worn them, though, they have gotten more comfortable. I ordered the black and I like the color a lot.

These shoes are great! I have issues with the arch in my feet and love the support that Birkenstocks offer. These are very comfortable as they mold to your foot.

I love these. I'm not normally a fan of this brand, but the arch support looked promising and the style was simple. I found them uncomfortable when I first wore them, but once I broke them in they were perfect. (I was pregnant when I first bought these, which may have caused my initial discomfort.)

These are my first pair of Birks and I LOVE THEM! I am always so sad when winter comes and I have to put them away. I'm contemplating getting a second pair...

I cannot express my love of these shoes enough. I love the metallic silver color and I have always loved the comfort of the Birkenstock foot bed. Gizah is a cool, classic style and I'm happy to have a new pair in my closet. I suspect that I will get many years of wear from these sandals. The Gizah style is "Birkenstock without the 'crunchy' stigma". They are cool and stylish with jeans, skirts and sundresses. I intentionally ordered a size up since Gizah tend to run a little small.

Great shoes with support

I love this style - you still get the great support and comfort with some style. I have about 5 pairs of these - I bought this pair for my Mediterranean Cruise this summer!

If your feet hurt this is the sandal for you. Love that they come narrow!

These are my favorite shoes! I can wear these all day and when traveling with very little foot fatigue, even with plantar fasciitis. According to the size chart, I should wear a 39 but a 38 is preferable.

Great alternatives for non supportive flip flops

I've been. Wanting these for a couple of years and they did not disappoint. Takes a couple days to get the real comfort going but wore them around the house for 3 days and they were good to hike in Cancun. They. So. Pretty.

I have hard to fit wife fit and Birkenstocks have been my lifesavers! I wish they would make some dressy shoes! And I always get them from Zappos. Their customer service is by far the best!

I love this shoe. I got the black patent, so they look nice wearing them with my business-casual work clothes and with jeans. They're comfortable and provide good support. They are definitely my go-to shoe. The only downside is they tend to give off that foot-odor smell, which isn't a problem I've had before. I read it has something to do with the material of the foot bed, but not wearing them for a couple of days or putting baking soda in them seems to help. Definitely not a big enough issue to deter me from recommending them or ordering another pair.

It's been many years since I've had a pair of Birkenstocks. I used to wear the Bostons to work as a nurse. They were excellent. As spring and summer were nearing, knowing my family would be going on vacations that required lots of waking, I decided it was time to go back to something I knew would not let me down. I've seen several friends in the Gizeh, and loved the look, and decided I needed to try them. They arrived today and I love them!!! I got the golden brown, the color is wonderful. I gave them a 5 star for comfort based not on what they feel like now, but on what I know they will feel like after I break them in. Yes, they are uncomfortable at first, they need to be broken in Order to mold to your foot. The size for me is perfect, although they do feel a little roomier in length (maybe 1/4 - 1/2 size) but I do not like my toes or heel to feel that they may potentially hang off the ends, so it's perfect. I wear an 8 in regular shoes and ordered the 39. I have a very average width foot, no where near narrow and not at all wide. I am very much a "B" width. Based on the width recommendations in the item description, I ordered the narrow. It is perfect. I feel the normal width would have been too wide. I cannot wait to break them in and for the weather to warm up so I can wear them. I'm already trying to decide what the next color will be!

I absolutely love these shoes. They are the perfect balance between flip flops and dressy sandals and they work just as well with a dress as they do with athletic wear. In addition, I have a hard time finding sandals that fit my larger than average feet that are still cute and feminine. I ordered the 42 and they were perfect in length and width, however, it did take a few days to break them in.
