All these years I have heard how great these shoes were, and I finally bought a pair. They are super comfortable, and even look pretty good. I wear a 9.5 narrow or super slim and have such a hard time finding sandals that fit. The 40 narrow fit perfectly.

This is my third pair of this shoe. They look stylish and fit great and make walking a dream. I love the black patent, but there is a little break in to the shoe basically due to the fact that it is not real leather, but its a one time deal, usually the first time you wear them. My feet get rejuvenated over the summer, because I get to wear these amazing shoes. Thank you Zappos for carrying them!

This sandal runs really big! I am a size 7 sometimes a 7.5 and ordered the 38- it was huge! Returning for a 37 even thought there is no way I am a size 6-6.5.

Durability and comfort.

I absolutely this shoe. My arches are high and I have an over-pronation when I run so I love that these shoes offer my feet support the rest of the day. Overall I gave them a five, comfort I gave a four. The footbed is not cushy, so if you’re standing and walking in them all day like I have, your feet might be a little sore. I wear a 6.5 in regular sandals and had to get 5.5 in these (you heel is supposed to fit back in the deep heelbed). Great purchase, it took me a week of wearing them all day for them to feel broken in and now they have conformed to my feet. I bought a second pair already- someone stop me! ??

They were one size too small

Gorgeous and super comfy!! I have high arches and these provide excellent arch support. Such a pretty color too!!

This is my 3rd pair of Gizeh but my first in Birko-Flor which I love, it's soft and comfortable. I also liked suede but regular leather didn't hold its shape as well and was less comfortable than the Birko-flor for me. I was looking for brown & was worried "Golden Brown" would be too metallic but it's not at all - it's really just brown with a subtle sheen. Perfect! Even though I normally wear a 8-8.5 AA I wear size 38 in these and other Birkenstock sandals. "Narrow" is not truly narrow, but these sandals are fine for narrow feet, especially since the strap is adjustable. The cork sole is kind of hard at first but eventually soften and conform to your foot, making them the most comfortable shoes I own. I could stand or walk in these all day without my feet getting tired. The thong doesn't bother me at all unless I wear them many days in a row, just like other thong shoes. Love them.

These are the most comfortable sandals! I wear them all the time and will definitely get more! I got the pearly white color and it’s perfect.

I knew to go with the 38 in this sandal(even though I am normally a 37 in euro sizing) as it is my second pair and I was fitted in a local shoe store for the first pair. I LOVE these sandals-super support, stylish and I get lots of compliments. Love the silver! I had ordered a pair in the black patent N because thats all that was available and it was a bit too narrow for my medium foot.

I usually wear a 7/37. Zappos recommended a 38, but I thought they were too large so exchanged for a 37, which fit perfectly. The hard plastic piece between my toes doesn't bother me, but I'm used to wearing flip flops almost daily in the summer. I did notice that when my foot was pushed all the way in on the piece, my toes hung over the top end of the shoe (and I have pretty short toes!). So I made it a point to nestle my feet a little back, which is also more comfortable against the toe piece, and I'm hoping the shoe molds to my feet this way.

Let’s be honest, I haven’t worn these exact shoes once. Not even to try them on. I have a pair of Gizehs from last year in that super pretty bronze color. I ruined them with bug spray (it etched the birkiflor) and I wanted another pair. I could bring myself to buy the SAME ones so I bought these super pretty antique lace ones. Yup, turns out, I just love these in bronze. I’m keeping the lace color ones because I used a coupon on them and they’re pretty and I love the gizehs and, hello, someone will invite me to a wedding someday and I’ll totally be the mom in Birks. Pretty Birks. I got my first Birks last year and now I have three pairs of Gizehs and a pair of Arizona’s. They multiply. I adore them and I wear them nearly every day. Done get them wet a bunch though. The cork will crack.

I have worn birkenstocks before and loved them. I had advice that this particular style runs big. I'm usually a 51/2 or a 36 in Birks. Ordered the 35 and 36 and the 35 was perfect! My usual 36 was way too big. Unfortunately the odd 35 size only came in 2 colors but I'm happy with the black. Love this style and working on the break in period.

Like all Birkenstocks, I needed to size down one full size. I completely forgot this and ordered my "regular" size and they were way too big. Zappos was great and overnighted me the right size the day that I received the first pair. Shoes are super comfy and stylish, definitely a more dressed up version of Birkenstocks, less Jesus-sandal. I had maybe one day of slight discomfort and no problems since then. Some people complained about the plastic thong on the shoe and that was where my discomfort was on the first day, but then it was fine after that.

My favorites! This is my third pair of Gizeh Birko-Flors. Each pair has lasted about three years and I wear them a LOT, since I live in Florida. They are so supportive - they love my feet and my feet love them! Even with a new pair, I can put them on and wear them right out of the box. I can wear these sandals all day, every day and my feet are happier than with any other shoes. I even wear them for 20,000-plus step days at Disney World. I hope they never stop making this shoe!

The shoe is exactly what my daughter asked for her birthday. After searching a couple stores, a friend suggested Zappos. I ordered the shoes Thursday at 2:40, the shoes arrived on FRIDAY. Now THAT is amazing service. I will be shopping Zappos from now on. THANK YOU.

I love this sandal! I have plantar fasciitis and the arch support is heavenly! Not only is this a supportive sandal, but it looks super cute, too! I agree that the toe post can take a little getting used to, but the same can be said of any sandal with a toe post. Bottom line: My arches get the support they need without me looking like I'm wearing boring, unfashionable orthotic footwear.

Onyx is a silver gray bluish gray very pretty color. The shoes are a little narrow & smallbut very comfortable and stylish. Love.

This is my second pair of Birkenstocks this summer. Mayari in 39 antique lace and Gizeh in 38 Licorice. I’m an 8 1/2 and after reading reviews here I ordered GIzeh in both sizes. Instant toe pain in the 39. I feel I could have better fitted better in the Mayari- It took me weeks to break them in. No break in time with the 38’s! No toe pain! They are super cute n I was stopped while out shopping to compliment my sandals! Poor women had to resturn her GIzehs bc if toe pain. I shared everything I learned here: downsize n strap on tight. My feet have never felt better in sandals!

I have worn Birkenstock's for years. Even my podiatrist recommends them as they have a very good arch support. The selection of styles and colors is great. My favorites are the Gizeh Birko-Flor. They are a bit pricey, but well worth the money!!!

I love how this style looks different from the other Birkenstocks that I own. This style looks young and fresh to me. The color is not a stark white, but rather a pearly cream. The fit is nearly perfect for my narrow feet. The only thing that has bothered me a tiny bit is the thong part between my toes. I am getting used to it though. I highly recommend this shoe as well as all other Birkenstocks!

I buy a pair of silver Gizehs every year or two. Unfortunately, the cork cracks where the shoe flexes after about a year. I am careful to never let them get wet. I love these sandals though, so I will keep buying them. This year I did get the Birkenstock care kit to see if that will help with the cracking problem. I do wish Birkenstock would bring back the silver pebbled leather version.
