I have been wearing Birkenstock sandals for over 25 years..these in particular...I wouldn't wear any other sandals...I do have several colors...and love them...my feet love them..I should say...thanks for the ease of shopping...for myself and my husband..

So happy I tried these again in the Birko-flor! This is the style I initially wanted, (being a Birkenstock newbie) but after trying both the Gizeh and Mayari in the oiled leather, I decided on the Mayari because the toe bar of the Gizeh really bothered me. But I SO loved the look of Gizeh that I couldn't rest until I had them! I've been wearing my Mayaris non-stop since I got them a month ago, btw. So today I got these, (Thanks, Zappos!) and I don't know if it's that the Birko-flor is a little softer, but they are so comfortable right out of the box. I think since my feet are now used to the Birkie footbed, I think I'll be fine to head out in these tomorrow without having to break them in. They're so pretty!

I wear a 10.5 (regular width) and the 41 regular fit like a glove

I typically wear a 37 but this shoe in a 36 seems to fit well. I have plantar fasciitis but fortunately my foot doesn't hurt when I wear this sandal. I have not walked in them for a long period of time yet, so that may change.

Typically I wear between a 7 & 7 1/2 and ordered a 38. I feel like I could go down a size as they are a little bulky but they are so comfortable and supportive! I find that they go with many different outfits and I can wear them walking all day without my feet bothering me at all. I did not have trouble with them being uncomfortable at first as some people do but have noticed that as I wear them they get even more comfortable. I was slightly aware of the thong when I started wearing them, not that it was uncomfortable but as I wear and gotten used to the thong I have become less aware of it. I hate wearing flip flops as they have no support so these are perfect for summer comfort!

These were the perfect addition to my wardrobe. Very comfortable and stylish enough to wear to school.

Exactly what I wanted

Love these. I had to stop wearing flip flops all the time because my feet and back were killing me. I bought the silver and they are adorable and incredibly comfortable. There was no "break-in" period like I read about--they molded to my feet quickly. I couldn't be happier.

This is my fourth pair of these shoes. I wear them 300 days a year. They hold up for about a year with this much wear (walk, hike, bike in them)

These have been the best flip-flops I have ever owned. I own the black pair as well as the gold-tan color. I need orthotics and have plantar fasciitis and I can walk comfortably in these shoes all day.

I’m so happy with my purchase. They’re so comfortable. I’m a size 8 but the 7-7.5 (38) fit perfectly well.

I find the gizeh more true to size vs the Arizona which runs 1/2 size larger. Birkenstock’s are the best sandals!

I’d suggest ordering a size down. I typically wear a women’s 7, and the 38 was way too big. I exchanged for a 37 and it fits perfectly. I also don’t have a particularly wide foot, but it does fill out this shoe in the regular width. The narrow option must be quite so.

These are great sandals. I was in need of some supportive sandals due to foot pain while pregnant. These offer great support while looking fashionable. I normally wear a 9.5-10 so I went with the 41 and they fit perfectly. I have a feeling I will be buying more in other colors, even past my pregnancy!

I love these birkies!!!! my summer go-to for work and walking around town! They do NOT last as long as the old-school birkies, but I still love the support and style so I buy a new pair every year...

This is my second pair. The first pair are OLD and walked all over Hawaii. Thought it was time for a new pair. They're super comfortable, even the piece between your toes, and I'm not always crazy about those. I got the toffee color, which is very much bronze and slightly sparkly. Not what I expected, but pretty!!

Love theses sandals. They are light yet supportive. The toe piece was comfortable from the get go. I usually wear a size 38, especially in clogs, but the most comfortable fit for these was a 37.

I haven't owned a pair of Birkenstock shoes in many years, and I loved this style. Fortunately, I was able to try on my friend's size 39 before I ordered and it fit really well. And now I have my own pair and had them for only a few days with no issues in breaking them in. My feet are on the narrower side I'd say, but the regular width works perfectly. Stylish and great for my feet as I am on them constantly as a massage therapist. Highly recommend! Dress up or down:)

I love Birkenstocks. I do feel they run large. My normal shoe size is 7.5 (which would be 38 in Birkenstocks), but I have to go down a size and get a 37 in this brand. They fit perfect. Like any new Birks, you do have to wear them a few times to break them in. After that, they are awesome. I can dress them up or down. This is my second pair and I wear them all the time. Highly recommend!

I read many reviews before ordering. I’m a 8.5 and ordered size 38, which fits excellent, even though the size chart recommended a 39. There’s no way I could wear a 39. From the time these arrived, I haven’t taken them off! No toe adjustment issues at all! Several weeks later, I’m already planning to buy another color prior to returning to work in the fall. I spend a lot of time on my feet teaching, and these will be perfect. They’re SO comfortable, and you can dress them up or down. Highly recommend!

I originally ordered this in a size 40N, as I typically wear a 9 1/2 but they were too short. My toes were pushing against the end of the shoe and the thong was uncomfortable between my toes. I then arranged a return and ordered the 41N. At first I thought it was a bit uncomfortable and was so disappointed. I had wanted a Gizeh style shoe for such a long time but had had trouble finding one in a narrow and knew from trying them on in shops that a medium was too wide. I searched the net on fitting Birkenstocks and found someone showing how she wore her very own Gizehs. She had hers on tighter than I had mine. For some reason, I thought Birkenstocks were to be worn just a bit loose so that you gripped more with your toes. I had mine on the next to last notch. After seeing hers, I tightened mine to the last notch (yes, my feet are that narrow) and surprise, they suddenly felt so much better! They hugged my feet, my arches felt nice and snug and the thong was no problem at all. I walked around the house for a couple days to make certain these really were the shoes for me and decided they were indeed. I’ve made several trips out and about in them and you would think I’ve owned them forever, they’re so comfy. I finally have my Gizehs and I’m so happy I do. I can’t swear they’re for everyone but I think they’re well worth a try.
