super comfortable and versatile

Why did I wait so long to try Birks! LOVE them!!

I love this Birk. Have bought it three different times over the last few years. They never truly wear out, but I get a new pair so that I have a nice pair and a beach/lake/yard pair of slightly more worn out ones.

These are my first pair of Gizeh’s so I’m not quite used to them. I’ve been wearing them for the past two days and they are comfortable. In between my first and second toe is tender because of how you wear the sandal, but I’m sure that will go away over time. I love how they look and feel. I have foot pain when I wear my summer flats, but not with these!!

Love these sandals, they are so comfortable and they didn't take any breaking in. Highly recommend.

I love my Birkenstocks! I have custom orthotics for high arches and these are the best sandals I have found. I could still use a higher arch, but I have much less foot and back pain wearing these compared to other sandals.

Fit is true to size, feels great with the first few steps! No breaking in!

I chose the silver which will be a nice neutral for summer. I have a true narrow foot and the narrow width works well. In sandals I mostly wear Sz 9…depending on brand, occasionally Sz 8.5. Several reviews said to size down so I initially ordered the sz 39. They were too short so I exchanged them for the sz 40 and the fit was better. I’ve been wearing them for short periods of time. They do start to “flex” after walking in them but I’m not sure yet about the comfort that everyone raves about. The cork composite footbed has no padding so I’m not finding them comfortable…just adequate. Hopefully they will start to mold to my foot otherwise I just blew $100 bucks on shoes I’ll end up giving away.

They are perfect

I have these in three colors. I did not need to break these in whatsoever. In fact, I wore them the entire day right out of the box and they were perfect. I take my dog on long walks wearing them as well and my feet never hurt.

I ordered these in the Graceful Pearl White and though the style and comfort of the Gizeh was amazing I did not like the color. It’s a very pretty color and more on the dressy side but to me it look gold and not the color I was going for. I returned them and ordered the all white. I wanted a more causal look that could also be dressed up.

I have other pairs of Birkenstocks and wanted something a little dressier. I also need the narrow fit. These came exactly as advertised and I was able to get them on sale. They look good, feel good and fit great.

So I normally wear a 6. The 37 was far too big. The 36 is a tad big, but fit 90% well in length when I tighten the straps. I've had Birks before, and I love them and have wanted this style for some time. I like the black patent upper and love the plain leather footbed . (I really prefer sandals that don't have a black foot unless they are non-staining EVA or the like.) They normally last a good long time so they are worth the expense. I haven't yet 100% decided if I am keeping these 36 Regular or maybe also trying the 36 Narrow and the 35. My one concern is that if the straps loosen, the shoes might feel too big. If your feet are on the wider side, choose the Regular width; if they are on the narrow side, try out the Narrow option. I will update if I end up trying out the others and especially if I change.

The candles fit perfect. However I have to break them in. The thong is very irritating.

I wear an 8/8.5 usually, but always order down a size in these Birks. The first pair I received were defective and customer service was exellent.

No problems with anything. Felt perfect the minute I put them on.

I have had several pairs of the Gizeh. Birkenstocks are definitely a "health shoe" and therefor has the clunky look. Any time the toe box is wide, you're going to get a funny looking shoe. But the Gizeh pulls it off. I am a 6.5 in most dress shoes (usually a 7 in tennis shoes.) I wear a 36 narrow in Birkenstocks. If you have them on, and you squat down, it will bend at the narrowest part of the sole. You will see photos of the cork beds cracking. This happens over time. I had a pair I loved and they were worn out terribly. You can take them to a Birkenstock store and have a new footbed put on and viola....a brand new shoe. Some colors (say black) are always in stock, so if worn out, I might toss them, but I have a pair of linen ones (that go with everything) and I will continue to put new soles on them when they wear out. I bought them in 1992, and they have been resoled twice, and look brand new.

One of my favorite style of Birkenstock. Love the Silver, goes with anything.

Sadly, I had to return the first pair. There was a flaw in the toe box that was quite noticeable….happy to say, the replacement pair was perfect! These sandals are so comfortable and look a bit more feminine then the two strap style. Shoe size is a 10/11 and the 41 fit great!

Love these sandals! This is my 7th pair of Birks but my first pair of Gizehs. I didn’t think they would look good on my foot but I love them. Also my first pair of non-leather but I think they are going to work out great. Highly recommend!
