Love them! I usually wear a 7 or 7 1/2, but found I needed a 37 not a 38 in these shoes (I can't remember if that's typical of Birks). Fit perfectly, very comfy, and cute. More substantial than a strappy sandal, but not as caveman-ish as other Birks. One of the few slides that don't hurt my back. I'm very happy.

Love! Got these today, less than 24 hours after ordering, as is wonderfully usual with Zappos! Got golden brown, regular width, 39. I agree with an earlier reviewer that the color is really pretty! Makes them slightly dressier and will probably match with more since they are definitely more metallic than brown. Super comfortable right out of the box – will not need as much break in as my other Birks. The underside of the strap is very soft. I have bad feet but these feel so great! Good arch support and the strap makes them feel very secure. Yay! (I'm usually a 9 in American shoes, but always a 39 in Birks, so I labeled these as larger than marked.)

Love this sandal! Love Birkenstocks. Love this sandal, it is cute and oooh so comfortable, very sturdy, and well made. Break in was a little rough as I don’t normally wear a thong sandal, but it was not unbearable. Love this sandal and I LOVE ZAPPOS. Fantastic service. Will definitely shop more with Zappos.

Great shoes! I love these Birks more than my previous pair. I ordered regular width, even though I have a narrow foot. The width is perfect and they look great with skirts, shorts, jeans, etc. And of course Zappos got them to me straight away!

Great Product But Break In Can Be Tough - This is a wonderful sandal. If you get the right color / finish, the sandal is actually very sheik. It surprises many to hear that these are Birks. I have foot problems and ended up picking this style over the Relax 100 and the Piazza. I've had no problems with the toe spacer. I did develop blisters on the soles of my feet during the break in period, which I suppose is par for the course. Otherwise, this is a great, great buy. Blisters and all, I'm loving them and still recommending them.

Love them - These are great sandals, my second pair in this style. I wear narrow and they are a true narrow fit. Many compliments!

Great sandals. I always thought of Birkenstocks as hippy shoes, but not anymore. These are stylish and comfortable. They're not too trendy so I can see me having them for a long time. They took awhile to break in, mainly because the little toe thong piece is a bit hard. After wearing them a few times for shorter stints I'm now able to wear them all day. Definitely worth the break-in period! I typically wear an 8.5 or 9 and ordered the 39 which fit perfectly. I have a normal width foot and ordered the regular Birkenstock width, which was also perfect.

Great Shoe, Great Service! I'm about to head off to Spain to study abroad and needed a great walking shoe, but also one that I could dress up or down, and that looked somewhat girly. This was a great choice! I've never owned a pair of Birkenstocks before, but I love them already. The break-in period is not as bad as the other reviews make it seem...I wore them around the house for 3 days and I'm good to go (it could be because I'm 20 years old, though...). And the thong sandal hasn't bothered my feet at all, and it probably won't bother yours if you're used to wearing flip flops. The golden brown color is really cool. The online picture doesn't do it justice...it's metallic and shimmery looking, a great feminine-looking shoe. I was turned off to the Arizona style, etc. because they seem manly, and this shoe is not at ALL manly...just comfy and sturdy. I can tell it will last forever, and take me through Europe!

Gizeh's great! I recently purchased the Gizeh in a bright blue color. They will look great with my summer outfits. I've only worn them a few times, but they are really comfortable. I have no arch so the extra support really helps. I have small feet and wear a 5 - 5 1/2. The 35 narrow size fits perfectly. I have 3 pairs of Birkenstocks and will continue to buy more because of the comfort.

I love the shoes. The center piece doesn’t bother my toes. They look super cute. Only complaint is they are slightly big. Ordered my usual size 36 (I wear Sz 6 reliably) and they are slightly too long. Not returning them bc I don’t think smaller size is available. I have a pr of Birks in Mayari style in Sz 36 and they fit perfect.

Several of my friends have these shoes and they swear by them. I thought I would try them out but the hard toe piece was not for me. I have several sandals with toe thongs, but the hard plastic in this style was a no go. I returned them for the Mayari -and that style worked better for me. No issues with the toe piece, very comfortable foot bed, nice feeling leather.

Fit well enough for my narrow feet. Looks a little crunch granola-y but still, in this color, I think it was a good compromise for comfort and fashion. They worked really well with day dresses in Rome and Sicily-I looked cute (I thought and Europeans seem to love them--they were everywhere) AND had a supportive fairly comfortable shoe to wear in the heat while sight-seeing and shopping.

Purchased at 8 mos. pregnant when no other shoes fit and the warm weather set in. Nice amount of support, adjustable, comfortable to walk in and the color goes with *everything*. Was never a Birkenstock person but desperate times introduced me to my new favorite sandal.

The Birko-flor is much softer/more comfortable than the leather Gizeh. Takes a bit of breaking in until the footbed really forms to your foot and is truly comfortable. The shoe size runs a bit big. I always wear a 9, but ordered the 39 (US Women's 8-8.5). Perfect fit.

I was excited about getting these but the toe post was not comfortable for me at all. I returned them - they were nice looking.

They run a size large. I bought them, love them, but I ordered a 39 as my other Birks are but these are just a size to large. I have a wide foot and the regular are perfect. Other than that they are awesome! As far as the exchange, they don't have my size in the color I like (copper) so either I'm stuck with them...or I can wait it out.

These shoes were uncomfortable, even painful, at first but seem to be improving. Just don't start out by wearing them all day. I do love Birkenstocks, though, so I haven't given up on these.

Shoe looks as pictured. Fits well and is comfortable. I am an old Birkenstock person, this being my first new shoe in a while. I thought the old Birkenstock were more supple. This one feels stiff and the inner sole hard. Maybe it will soften. Also, the strap is rather stiff and not the nice suede the old ones were made of. I would have purchased the more expensive one if it did not cost so much more. Nice that this one is in narrow, fits a narrow foot well. Not many shoes come in narrow.

This is the first pair of Birkenstock's I've bought in years, and I really like the style and comfort of this sandal. The narrow fits perfectly. I wasn't sure about the color, but it goes well with other stuff in my wardrobe and actually looks classy. I've gotten several compliments on these. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that the top part of the strap hits my big toes, so I can't wear them too soon after a pedicure. Would be nice if it was a bit more tapered at the top.

Sizing - I ordered these shoes for a friend as a gift. I’ve had my own Gizeh pair for eons. Her shoe size is a 7, so I purchased a 38 for her... TOO big. Kept them for me (I wear an 8, but the 38s fit me) and ordered 37s for her. She kept the 37s, but they're still a little big. I was a little disappointed that the shoe sizes were so inaccurate...

The piece between the toes is just too uncountable. I love how they look

Synthetic? Why on earth would Birkenstock charge this kind of price for something that isn't even leather. Just, no. Bring back more color choices in the quality leather we come to expect with Birkenstock.
