I really do not understand all of the positive reviews. I wear thongs all the time, but the toe piece on these is a wide hard plastic, like having a toothbrush handle shoved between your toes. I wish I'd liked them, though; I was ready to give the famous Birkenstock sole a try in a semi-cute shoe. Emerald Isle is a pretty iridescent peacock green color.

Great feeling shoes, except for the stiff plastic that goes between your toes. I'll try another style of Birkenstock shoes.

You either are a Birkenstock kind of woman or you aren't. I guess I'm not, because I felt in these sandals like I've felt in all other shoes of this brand: like a big plodding Frankenstein's monster. Good shoes if you like Birks - they just might not be your style. Oh, and the "golden brown" is literally metallic gold.

I love the comfortable sole, the look of the shoe (a more feminine style) and the metallic sheen. Finally, I thought I could follow my rheumatologist's advice and get Birks! Sadly, the toe thing is positioned too close to the top of the shoe, such that my longish toes hang over the top, whereas my heel slides too far up the shoe (making it look too small at the toes and too big at the heel). Maybe I just have weird feet? Didn't work for me. I'm bummed.

Cute Birks - I am happy with my Birks but it's taking a while to break them in. The style is very cute compared to the classic Birks.

These Birks are not too bad for someone trying to avoid the "look" of Birk while still getting the nice footbed associated with the brand. The toe thing is a little uncomfortable and the strap seemed short. I'll still wear them!

Everything was fine except for the toe thong is very hard, very wide plastic. It was so uncomfortable I could not wear the shoes for longer than a few minutes so I had to return.

Quality of the leather is not the best. Cracked on the top. Disappointed. When happened I had sent an email directly to Birkenstock they answer I have to send it to a cobbler.

I’m very disappointed with this experience. I waited 8 days for my order, and on the exact day it was supposed to arrive I received an email saying it had been canceled. I don’t understand why it took a whole week to cancel the item instead of notifying me earlier. Now I’m being told I have to wait another 7 days to receive the same order again. This has been very frustrating and a complete waste of time.

My third pair of this style of Birkenstocks and generally love them but the synthetic top cracked after a year of wear. I do wear them a lot in the summer but this is not a change and my others never cracked. I don't think I'll buy the Birko-Flor version again after this. I can't find any repair info on the Birkenstock website.

The fit was perfect but they were really uncomfortable…I really wanted them to work. I loved the style!

This style of Gizah Birks feel cheap bcs of the patent “leather” - it curls up around the thong area right out of the box. I don’t think it will be very durable so I’m returning them. I will stick to real leather from now on.

These are way too wide. Even on the tightest notch, my feel slip out.

The color is called copper , and it looks copper on the Zappos site. I owned two pairs of copper Birkenstock a few years ago, and I loved them. These sandals are NOT copper. You should check them With your picture on your site.

I never thought I’d be uncomfortable in Birkenstocks, but these got painful within ten minutes of wearing them inside my house. The thing part is way too thick to be comfortable, and the weight of the bottom of the sandal makes it a thousand times worse. These are really cute, and I was hoping they’d be good shoes for walking long distances, but I had to return them.

I wanted to love these sandals. The fit was fine but they hurt my feet. The strap between the toe hurt (very surprised as all I wear are flip-flops). The foot bed was a little too rigid. I’m going to try a slip on before I give up on Birkenstocks.

Birkenstock sizing has changed since the company was sold. I have worn a 37 N for over 30 years in Birkenstocks. Now the 37 is too small. If you have purchased them in the past do not go by the European sizing, go by the American sizing. Just a heads up, it will save you the hassle of having to deal with a return.

I liked them, I've been looking for silver sandals, but the part between the toes is large & uncomftorable

Painful in on my toes!!

I first ordered in size 38, which is usually my size (7.5), and they were too big. Ordered a 37, which fit better. I really wanted to love them, but they were painful to wear, especially the ridge under my big toe. :(

The right shoe seems ok, but the left shoe feels smaller and my foot seems to fit at an awkward angle. I am hoping that a size 40 narrow will work better. Strange since I have been wearing this style in size 39 narrow for quite a few years and love the feel.
