These guys are far too expensive for what they are. The footbed is rigid, the "regular" is narrow and they poke into my instep oddly. Plus the borders of the footbed are raised, so if the shoe shifts on your foot mid-stride, you end up stepping onto the ridge.

Nice looking and very delicate for Birkenstock shoes but the plastic toe piece for the thong was extremely painful. Ouch!

Rubber toe hold so uncomfortable I haven't been able to wear these twice. I had blisters the size of quarters between my toes on both feet. I've heard they get more comfortable with time, but they are Birks - they should be comfortable from Jump Street.

Ok I am a huge Birk fan and an even bigger fan of Zappos! This shoes are horrible! The foot bed is typical Birkenstock but the thing between the toes is tortue. I have tried to break them by forcing myself to wear them, it's not getting any better! Sad because they are cute.

Love this shoe. It is not something I would ever wear, at least I thought. I tried on my neighbor's who comes from Manhattan and did quite a bit of walking. Great shoe, cute, comfy, practical. And the plastic piece in between the toes took a short time to get used to but it did not hurt or bother me. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

I got these shoes as quick as ever, thanks to Zappos' amazing service! I absolutely love them. They form to your feet the more you wear them and I feel like they give me complete support. I did go half a size down based on other reviews and it turned out perfect!

Cute, comfortable casual sandals. Lovely soft lilac colour and not as utilitarian-looking as other Birkenstocks. Great service and fast delivery from Zappos!

I love these sandals. I currently have four pair and wear them constantly. I have plantar fasciitis and these sandals give me great relief. My feet never hurt when I wear these sandals. I have 4 different colors and I love them all. As you can tell, I'm a fan.

I absolutely love them! I will admit, they are not the sleekest sandals on earth, but for casual wearing they are amazing. I love them with cute sweats or leggings and definitely recommend the black. They have a matte finish that looks classy and not so hippieish. Do order a full size down! I almost always wear a 7½ but I did some research and ordered a 37 instead. They fit perfectly. I also have very high arches and feel like the support on these is pretty awesome.

Fits great. Good for working in the yard or going to the beach. I got the impression from the website that these were red, but they are not. They are more of a soft wine color with slight sparkle.

They are a good sandal; a little different than the "traditional" style. A little stiff at first. If you aren't used to a flip flop style, the part that separates your toes may take a little getting used to. As always, Zappos shipping was very fast.

What can I say? I'm a Birkenstock girl! The Gizeh Birko-Flor are a more feminine option than many Birkenstocks. I wear an 8 1/2 and the 39 regular width are perfect for me. As always, they are so comfortable and up for anything you put them through. If you've never worn Birkenstocks, note that when you first put them on they will feel hard and perhaps even a bit uncomfortable. It's a unique way of treating your foot (very well!) and you will need a bit of time to adjust. Once you do, I'll bet you'll be a Birkenstock girl too!

Got my sandals promptly. They were a lot less than elsewhere....and it's hard to find Birks that have any reduction at all. Very pleased.

Love these shoes! I have two pairs and the only complaint that I have is, the footbed looks nasty pretty quickly and I can't find anything to fix/replace them so I can get my money's worth from these shoes. I can't wear normal flip flops because I walk a little goofy and I walk out of them, and I hate that slapping sound they make when people walk.

Absolutely love this shoe! I have high arches and wide feet - have not been able to find a quality summer shoe till now. It takes about 3-4 weeks to break these in but once you have you'll never want to take them off!

For a sandal, you can't beat Birkenstock's arch support. I agree that the hard plastic thong was uncomfortable at first, but I have grown accustomed to it after a few wears. I bought them in the perfect pink color, which is a nice pale pearly pink. It is neutral enough to go with almost any outfit.

My new Gizeh Birko-Flor feel great! I am a Birkenstock fan and have never been disappointed with any purchase. It also feels good to receive all kinds of compliments from other people. And on top of it all, the Zappos service is just outstanding. Thanks!

I ordered the gizeh in purple. I needed a comfortable sandal to help relieve my plantar fasciitis and tendinitis. Completely flat shoes were killing my feet but I can't wear anything with much of a heel. These seemed perfect--trendy, easy to slip on and off. However, the plastic toe part really hurt after just a brief time. Also, for some reason the arch did not hit me in the right spot and my toes did not seem to land where they should. The fit just seemed off and not as comfortable as I expected. Thanks to Zappos quick and great return policy, I was able to return these shoes. I took a chance and ordered the Mayari--these are great, especially for my high arches.

While slightly uncomfortable at first, the plastic piece between the toes isn't bothersome once "broken in (wearing them two or three times)." These are incredibly comfortable and still stylish. Can be dressed up or worn casually. Just be careful for any sort of transfer to the footbed. Dirt, liquids, oils, etc will all stain!

I am not really a Birkenstock type of girl but these caught my eye. I have seen cute, young moms wearing them and I like the way they look. I bought these as a more stylish and more durable replacement for my fit flops. I ordered a 38 because I am a 7 normally. They are way too big. Going to send them back and try a smaller size.

I have a few other pairs of Birks, but I needed something for summer. I'm pregnant right now and my feet never felt so good. These also looked great. I originally ordered the silver, but this metallic color is much more versatile. This is a hard to find color in stores. Thanks Zappos!

I am in love with this sandal. I was in a car accident which resulted in several ankle surgeries. I could not find any comfortable summer sandals until I found this! And not only is it comfortable, it is stylish as well.
