Love this sandal. This is my third time buying this style of Birkenstock and it's a sandal that provides really good support for arches and looks really cute! I've had it in brown and purple before and I really like how sleek the black looks. I wear a size 7.5US but ordered this sandal in a size 37. I think this runs a little small, but it's my preference. Personally, my turnover time with this shoe is about 2 years, but that is with some extreme wear (hiking, tidepooling, exposure to salt water, skateboarding, world traveling). If you want them to last longer, stay away from water!

This sandal is a true lifesaver since I hurt my foot and had to revise my opinion of "fashionable" shoes. Birks are one of very few shoes that I can now wear without foot pain by the end of the day. Sizing is a little different, because I usually wear a 5 1/2 in other brands, and I have to have a 35 in Birkenstocks (a 36 is too long, and 34 is available in girls but it is a touch too short). Thank goodness for Zappos for providing some choices, because not all styles are available in size 35 and thanks to the easy return policy I can determine if I have to have a narrow or normal width depending on the style. Successfully adapting to the Birkenstock footbed requires having exactly the right size. The Gizeh style was the easiest for me to adjust to, because I had worn "thong" style shoes for decades and easily adjusted to the strap between the toes. The cork foot bed required a little more time to become comfortable, but each wearing became more comfortable so just give it the time to become familiar and adjust to your foot, and you'll never want to take them off. By the end of summer, I was crushed that it was really too cold to wear them all winter -- I still wear them every time it warms up and can't wait for spring.

LOVE these shoes! The colour however was much different than the photo. The photo looks raspberry coloured, the shoes look purple. They're still in the box, and I'm still deciding if I'll keep them. Super disappointed.

I bought these when I was 17. I forgot the name until I stumbled upon them on here! I wore them until I had to sew them back together, and we're extra cute with a little stitch in them. Don't get me wrong, these shoes can hold up. I wore them to the river and everywhere. They get better with age. To me that is a good shoe! Buying these again and happy I found an old favorite.

Super comfy, molds to your foot. Strap keeps the sandal snug on your foot, doesn't flop around. I get a lot of compliments on the shiny turquoise color.

pretty much live in Havaiana flip flops but I can't walk too long in them without my feet hurting. I resisted getting Birks for a long time because of the ugly factor, but these are quite nice,not too clompy, and I have to admit, the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. I wear a size 7.5 or 8 and ordered the same the first time around, but they were huge and I had to return them. I tried the 6-6.5 and they fit perfectly. I will definitely be buying these in other colors.

I wear these sandals to everywhere. Birkenstock is known for hippies but giving a good weight at feet, looks nice and match to my simple and relaxed style. good alternative to flip-flops or low-tech sneakers.

These sandals are so kind to my high arches...you may have to get used to them over a few days of wear, but once you do your feet will love you each time you slide into them. I am a flip flop lover, but these stay put on my foot so much better! From someone from a northern state who hates to cover her toes, these I will wear until the snow falls!

Great shoe. I bought these for my wife since she had been lusting after mine for so long. After a week of wearing them around, she pronounced them broken in and now mourns the approach of winter, since they would surely perish in the wicked Boston snow.

I originally ordered size 39 (recommended for 8-8.5), but had to send them back because they were HUGE on me. The 38's fit perfectly. So comfy, so cute and they make even a mediocre pedicure look va-va-voom! My first pair of Birkentocks. I was scared to look too granola, but these are so cute and supportive. My plantar fasciitis is now my little secret!

Birkenstocks are all my daughter wears (husband too). I bought these as a gift and she LOVES them. I'll be back for different colors! :)

I love these sandals and have them now in four different colors. Super comfy and flattering on my somewhat wide feet.

I knew the exact show and size needed, but could not find it locally, so I turned to Zappos. The shoes are exactly as marked, a 39, and the comfort I expect from Birkenstock, and the quality that the shoe will last for years.

Didn't know what the all the rave was about for Birkenstocks until I bought a pair. This purchase was a replacement to the first pair I wore to the ground. Such a stylish walking shoe for the weekend, commuting and giving some love back to your feet. Have the hot pink too.

Super cute, but only became comfortable after a week or two of wearing on weekends. Now they feel amazing!

These shoes, like other cork-bed shoes, definitely take some breaking in. At first, the sides and arches were giving me blisters. But now, the cork has molded to the shape of my feet and they're incredibly comfortable. If you can take the wait, they're very sturdy, comfy flip flops that don't make a flip-flop noise.

This shoe fit well. I have received numerous compliments. As with all Birkenstocks, it must mold somewhat to your feet, but it did not take long at all for the molding.

My daughter bought it. We were impressed with Zappos prompt delivery to our US delivery and they too did a god job in packing and delivering it to us promptly. Good price, great color! This was her 3rd pair.

Love the titanium color. Has a little hint of green in it. Great support, really comfortable, but definitely more stylish than the standard Birkenstocks.

Comfortable! I wore these on my trip to Spain where we walked miles and miles and my feet never ached afterwards. Love the style, definitely recommend!

This was my first pair of Birkenstocks and I am impressed so far! They took about a week to break in, and now they are super comfortable. I get so many compliments on the hot pink color, too. I wear size 10 so I initially ordered size 41 to be safe, but ended up exchanging them for a 40. So the size chart is pretty accurate.

The shoes arrived very promptly. Great service. I have at least eight pairs of Birkenstocks in different colors. Love them. The regular fit really well because my feet are between a medium and wide size. The sizing is totally reliable, or I would never buy shoes through the mail!

I was getting tired of flip flop sandals with no support...wanted a stylish sandal with wouldn't kill my feet and legs at the end of the day. Perfect solution!

I love these shoes! I have three pairs in this style, all in cute, different colors. They are very comfortable, and they go well with anything - shorts, jeans, dresses. The pink is very bright.
