I've never been a Birkenstock fan, but foot problems have caused me to reconsider. They're oddly comfortable for cork bricks and I actually kinda love the Florida style (don't look like Jesus sandals!)... just having a hard time fitting them for a variety of foot reasons. It's a bit of a Goldilocks situation: 41 Regular is too big and the straps hit my forefoot in bad places; 40 Regular is a smidge too small and narrow. Someone suggested trying 41 Narrow (even though my feet are wide) because this can allegedly behave similarly to a half size? Still waiting on arrival of those, so can't say how true this is. Fingers crossed because it's a cute shoe - even on big feet. Thank heavens for Zappos because a lot of stores don't stock "extended sizes" and I'm having to try on a BUNCH of shoes to find something -- anything -- that fits my unhappy feet.

love these and the soft footbed is worth the extra few dollars. No break in required. would definitely recommend.

Confirmed that I need to stick with the Arizona unisex style because the women's only styles like these run too narrow for a wider foot, even if the size is accurate for length

These are far more comfortable than my previous birkis. I purchased the m/w and they are definitely wide enough. Highly recommend them to anyone who is on the fence. Well worth the price in both quality and comfort. O! I have plantar fasciitis on both feet and these feel great!

True to size. Fit exactly as my old ones which is comforting seeing as sizes seem to be running smaller depending on country where manufactured.

The right fit perfect but the left was tight. This is my 4th pair so I am sure I will break them in and they will fit great just like the others.

I’ve had many pairs of Birkenstock sandals. This pair replaced the exact same style as my first pair 30 years ago. When I got this pair, my husband shaved off the sharp edges of the leather which makes them more comfortable to wear.

I tried on a pair of these sandals last year and even on the most loose adjustment, my feet would not fit. I wanted to try them again as I love this style and these are AMAZING! The ones I previously tried on must have been in narrow because my feet are extremely wide and these fit so well! The soft footbed is so worth the extra money as well. There is literally zero break in time and they feel so good on my feet! Highly recommend these to anyone who had super wide feet like myself!

Beautiful shoe and I have owned several Birks before. This shoe is not a good fit for me, but in the past it was just fine. I have trouble getting a shoe that fits well.

I really love these shoes/sandals. I previously had a pair of these sandals and wore them every chance I got, but they were destroyed by one of my cats. Cat is fine, sandals, not. I'm a happy owner of a new pair (cat was letting me know I really needed a new pair). If you're a half-size, order down. For example, I'm a 7.5 so I wear a size 38.

Birkenstocks are one of those quality items you purchase with confidence. My new shoes did not disappoint! I liked the new style and the fit was perfect.

I've worn other styles of Birkenstocks but I'm still always nervous about the sizing. The way my foot fits into the footbed seems to vary a little with the style. I trust Zappos though to make the exchange as painless as possible, so I went for it. The fit is perfect. I'm case this helps someone else (I scour reviews), I wear an 8.5, on the rare occasion a 9. This of course puts me between Birk sizes. My foot is a little wide as well. I ordered a size 39 Regular. Absolutely perfect. Yay!!!! Thanks Zappos for my first online order of Birkenstocks! Oh and the 3 rating on style....We all know we don't wear them for looks....
