I have an older pair of these in a 39 but my toes sometimes brush the front edge so I decided to try a size larger and got a 40 (which is what a person at a shoe store said I should get: I usually wear a women's size 9 but can wear 8.5 in sandals or backless shoes). feel a bit big on me but birkenstocks seem to curl or shrink up on me over time. They say not to leave them where it's really hot, and I've seen how that makes thee footed or sole (or both?) shrink up, so I figure maybe that's what happened to my old 39s that seem so much smaller, figure my new 40s will shrink some this summer when they get hot, whether I walk on a hot asphalt road or leave in a hot car or on a porch in the sun. I wore my floridas in size 39 even when I took long walks of several miles! So comfortable, even with no socks, even on trails in the woods...Love them. I find them more comfortable than the Arizonas I used to have. Don't LOVE the look of Birkenstocks but have had several pairs now (Gizeh, Boston, Buckley, Arizona) and love just due to comfort. When my feet or Achilles are bothering me, hurting for whatever reason, I put on my Birkenstocks for a couple days, and they feel better!

Ok, so I’m kind of new to Birks, so take what I write with a grain of salt. The leather on these sandals is nice BUT stiff, I returned this pair of sandals. I didn’t want to take the time for break in, the overall style is beautiful. The buckles are so great, the add style and are adjustable. I’m so happy with Zappos, what a great company. Shipping is fast and so are refunds. I can’t recommend ZAPPOS enough.

I alredy have a pair of these in navy and wore them last summer. These sandals are comfortable and I can wear them all day long right out of the box. The soft footbed and the contour of the toe area are so helpful for my Morton's neuroma which is very painful if I don't wear certain shoes with a certain contour to the insole. I wish there were more styles with the soft footbed. I do have the ones that are available. I can't wear the regular footbed anymore, only for very short periods. I'm grateful to have my Birkies and will keep a few pairs around always. Thanks.? Also I love Zappos. Their service and ease of purchasing are stellar!!?

This is my fourth pair of this style over the last 8 years. I wear them almost every day all year long!

I have worn Birkenstocks for years and have never been disappointed. I have both the soft footbed and the classic, but the soft footbed is my favorite. In fact, I have just sent in two pair of my old Birkenstocks to be repaired (complete new sole), and I feel that it is well worth it to have my favorite strap designs feel like new shoes again! My athletic shoes are always 7 1/2, but my Birkenstock size is 36, and they fit perfectly.

These are so comfy and stylish. I never liked the two strap Birks but these are cute and the color is great. The soft footbed is a game changer.

Love these Birks so much.. took about one day to break them in. I’m normally a is ladies 8.5 and the 38 fits perfectly. I always order one size smaller in Birkenstocks

leather is a little stiff when you first get them, but eventually softens up, my second pair cuz i wore out the old ones, love them!

Love these - first pair with the soft footbed. They are replacing ones that are over a decade old.

These are a great pair of sandals that you can dress up or down. I simply love them.

The sandal I received was not the leather florida that I ordered. It was a synetic type of birk. I returned it because of that. I will order again in the furture.

My very first pair of Birkenstock’s! I normally wear size 81/2 but 39 was too large. Size 38 was perfect. They have great support compared to other brands.

After reading the reviews and having worn Birkenstocks before, I ordered a size down. Normally wear a size 8 US (39) but ordered the 38 and they fit perfectly.

I absolutely love these. So comfortable. The color was lighter than I expected but still great. I do feel like Birks have gotten narrower over the years and don't offer quite the arch support they once did, but I still like these a lot and they have much better arch support than so many sandals out there. I would buy these again.
