This shoe is the best

Have been wearing florsheim imperials for 60 years ...great shoes

Nice Shoes. Not as good as they used to be in the old days, however still nice.

I have not had the opportunity to purchase Imperials for many years and I am so happy that I found the Florsheim website and I can now once again purchase my all time favorite shoes.

I recently bought a pair of high polish black and my normal size is 13 D and this in a 13D was big, however, I absolutely love the quality and hope I can get a 12 in pebble sometime in the near future.

Well made shoe. True to size,just a good looking shoe wears well .The souls nice quality.and well built.I wait a long time for this shoe. the price was right . Thank you Florsheim. So i did get two pair. Black and Cognac And they had the best price for this type of shoe.

After graduating college many years ago, I bought myself, two brothers and father each a pair, needless to say we all loved the shoes. They were both comfortable yet stylish, and durable; the more you wear them, the more comfortable they became. If you are looking for a great solid classic versatile shoe, this is the one; great for the office and casual wear!

When I was young, there was a passage in a book about Carey Grant. "His shoes were perfect, like everything about him..they looked like they weighed 10 lbs a piece." Mr. Grant must have been wearing Kenmoors.

This is a classic pair of shoes. These are not for everybody since they are taken from older classic styling but, if you want a pair of shoes that when properly cared for will last for years and years, this is the shoe. I wish Florsheim would do a better job of stocking different sizes and finishes. I would rather have a pair with a pebbled surface and an "E" width instead of "D". That or quite advertising the possibility only to disappoint.

Have had my Imperial Wing Tips , woren them every Sunday . Our young son was three , when I purchased them , now he is thirty-six ,and have had one time half-soled and new heals , in that length of time. Last Sunday, polished them and wore them again , they are my Sunday Shoes.Tom Morey ,Gravette Arkansas

They look good and they wear like iron. I still dress for work and these are classic dress shoes. I do a lot of walking around the city so I need a thick sole that will wear a long time on course sidewalks and pavement. And when I do eventually bring these shoes to get replacement soles, the cobbler shows me the way the shoes were made and explains that they were made to make that job easier. The one downside of such solid, thick soled shoes is that they take longer to break in. I know they'll take an extra week or two to soften up. But I don't mind because I also know they'll last for years after that.

Sleek and comfortable!

This is my 3rd pair of Kenmoor Imperials in 20 years. My first were from a thrift store the next two from Florsheim.com. I love these and hope they make them 20 years from now.

I work as a Hospital Chaplain. I needed a good-looking, well-made, tried-and-true shoe. They worked well for other my grandfather, hoping that will be my experience too.

My husband was very happy with this purchase, great fit and classic style. Very disappointed that Florsheim is discontinuing this line. Looking for Kenmoor plain toe (burgundy) size 11.5 D without any success,

Bought my first pair at 16 and have never been without. The imperial sets you apart and always receive compliments. Highly recommend. It's the standard and why I'll buy other Florsheim shoes.

I sold Florsheim several years ago, and have worn them off and on in that time. It has been several years since I have had a pair but decided to buy the blk Kenmore as they did not have the beaded leather in my size. After a few times of wearing them they have formed to my feet nicely and are just like I remember them from years ago. It is correct that initially they are stiff and need some time to break in. In my case the right shoe pinched a bit over the top of the arch, but after a few wearings they have formed nicely. they are easy to care for and do not scuff as easily as some suggest as long as you take care of them.
