Great shoes, same as I had 40 years ago! Comfortable and stylish. Shoe runs a half size large.

Ordering down a size didn't work for me, I ordered the size down and they rubbed the back of my heel. My true size worked best.

I ordered a half size down as recommended and they were too small they rubbed the back of my heel. I had to return for my usual size and they worked great.

I love Converse, even though they are a little narrow for my wide feet. It usually takes a week or two for them to be fully comfortable, but after that I tend to wear them until they get holes. I walk 5+ miles a day, and a pair will last me 6+ months. (I think that's a great deal.)

I sized down a 1/2 size as the description suggests and it fit perfectly.

Straight classics! Ordered these and in Zappos fashion they arrived in two days flat. They are perfect for kicking around town or (in my case) lifting in the gym when you don't want to splurge on weightlifting shoes. A simple clean shoe that I can wear anywhere and look good new or beat to hell! Not my first and definitely not my last pair.

Love the monotone color, works with everything. Fit true to converse sizes. The back, top part of the heal is a bit stiff but I'm hoping that'll break in.

I have been wearing converse for over a decade now. I don't know how many times I have purchased this classic shoe because I wear them out! I love these shoes. I am a teacher and they are comfortable enough to wear all day long while chasing after Kindergarteners, doing yard duty, and cleaning my classroom. I wear the Converse "cut-for-chucks" socks, which are comfortable and fit well under these shoes. While I have experimented with other colors, I always keep a black pair in my closet because they go with everything. These are, by far, my go-to shoes! Love the Zappos service!

Anyone will tell you, you can't get chucks in half sizes. Well, I've been wearing size 3.5 since 1982. They are very difficult to find, but leave it to zappos! I'm a fan, thank you, zappos!

Definitely order down either a half size or full size! This is super cute-the red is pretty true to the color that appears on screen. Like others said, there is no arch support in this one, but that's not a problem for my feet for some unknown reason. This is my first pair of Chucks but I will be ordering more!
