Always a great choice for a school shoe. My son loves these and to him red is a neutral. He thinks they are very comfortable and they are durable. The sole does not peel away from the shoe like some other brands.

I finally had to toss my last pair after many years of wear. These are my go-to casual shoes and I love them. My only complaint is this new pair seems to rub on my heels and I don't remember this happening before. Nothing a few band aids during the breaking in period can't fix.

Sizing: I am a male that wears size 10 in dress shoes and 10.5 in sneakers like Nike, so when I bought these I got a size 9. I suggest you do the same.

Love these chucks! Had a pair years ago that didn't seem quite as comfy...glad I gave them a second chance! Orginally ordered a 9.5 as I'm usually a 9.5-10 and my last pair were a little narrow. They were way too big! Sent them back and got a 9, fit like a glove. So definitely order a half size smaller than what you normally wear. No real arch support (typical for this shoe) and a teeny bit narrow, but I had a little wider foot so maybe that's just me. Overall these are actually super comfy right out of the box, which was an awesome surprise...thought I'd be breaking them in for a month!!!
