Felt a full size or more larger than marked

Purchased the pink, red and grey. Super cute and comfy. I wear a 9 in most shoes but after reading reviews I sized down 1/2 a size. Ended up going a full size down and size 8 fit the best.

I got these to wear out casually but also for powerlifting because I heard they provided a stable sole to support heavy lifting. These lived up to the hype. Chuck Taylors are a staple in a shoe collection if you ask me.

This is written by someone who has had this particular shoe for quite some time. :) Originally, I bought a half size smaller than my regular shoe. I thought 'no way' and exchanged it for a full size smaller. All was good. I wore them out...but I realize at some point, that I couldn't comfortably ever wear any socks with it (!!) and when they were on my feet for an extended period of time throughout the day, with my feet swelling, my pinkie and fourth toe started to feel 'crunched'. Hence, I will be purchasing another pair (they just look cruddy) and I will definitely be doing only a half size down. Just my two cents.

These are the classic fit chucks that I love!! I do not care for the fit of the newer chuck II with the insoles. I always get men's 4/women's 6 and somehow these are running a bit large. It works, though, since I'll be on my feet in them a lot and at least I won't have to worry about breaking them in for very long :) Zappos is amazing as always. Ordered them yesterday morning and they're on my feet today!

Love the fit of these. They run VERY true to size which is especially important when you have a larger shoe size. They are also flat, which if you have high arches or heels could present an issue. If you happen to have flat feet such as myself however they're super comfortable. They're a pretty signature shoe that's been around for awhile and most people are familiar with. Not the flashiest but can be worn with most articles of clothing. Keep in mind these are canvas sneakers so dependent on your climate and settings/frequency they are worn, you may find they wear a bit quicker than other shoes. Great for every day walking etc, but if you're an avid runner or highly active/athletic I'd recommend a different shoe.

Converse are all ive worn for the last 16 yrs. These are just as great as all the others. I dont feel like you wear these for comfort or to remain clean, so I wont comment on that. Will continue to support Chucks until death. (>.o)

Exactly what my teen wanted, she wears them daily and loves them!Also, they can be machine washed. They got caked with mud on a girlscout trip and they cleaned up great, look like new!

Love this shoe, so versatile and just what I needed for casual run-around days! I typically wear a 7.5 but ordered the 7 based on others reviews and they fit great.

Super comfy, I wear these with shorts, jeans & even casual dresses.

These are great shoes for kids and adults of all ages. I have 5 kids and they all have them as do my husband and me. We call got matching pairs to wear to kick off an annual family trip instead of getting matching t-shirts!

White chucks in the spring are my go-to sneaker. I've been wearing the same size for a decade (a half size smaller than what I normally wear). These were a half-size larger than all of my old pairs. Of course I didn't realize it until after I wore them outside.

You cannot go wrong with a pair of old school Chucks! They are just cool! I wear a size 7 and find that they are true to size. I do suggest that you buy "Chuck" specific socks to wear with them. They are cut just right for that particular shoe. Would buy again!
