These are a classic! The soles are thick and protective, the shoes are comfortable and they last a long time.

Who doesn't love a classic chuck sneaker?! I was so excited to order a replacement pair in classic white. (I wore the first pair out!)

I saw that you should order a half size smaller. so, after doing so I still had to return them more than once. I took a full 1-1/2 sizes smaller-so two returns and the third sneaker fit fine. they are comfortable but are lacking a firm canvas back of shoe when putting them on. I had to go into a drawer of old items and pull out a shoe horn to get them on-probable not something a younger person may know about. I made them work and really like them having only worn them twice for short periods. but shoes aside, love the customer service at zappos.

This shoe is so vercitile! It goes with everything summer or winter, dressy or casual! This is my third pair, ALL time favorite shoe!

My preteen son with giant feet needed all-black shoes for his summer stock theatre show. I wanted to buy shoes that he could wear after the shows, and all his friends wear converse shoes. Of course, I turned to Zappos @ I was thrilled to find the black monochrome version of his favorite shoes! I read reviews recommending ordering a 1/2-size down, but I ordered his regular size 11-1/2 hoping he would have a little room to grow & they might last at least through the summer. (He grows SO fast.) The shoes arrived the next day & look amazing. They are, however, way too big. Not just a half size; more like a size and a half. Maybe other styles of Chucks run smaller? I'm exchanging these for another 1/2 size down. I love knowing that Zappos will get them to us in plenty of time for dress rehearsal. Thanks, Zappos!

Ordered these for my son. They are his go to kick around shoe. He wears a half size smaller than his usual size. When they get really grubby, he throws them in the washing machine.
