Felt a little big. Super cute, though! I normally wear a 7.5 and got a 7.5. Should've gotten the 7.

I have used Chucks forever as weight training shoes. For this purpose they are some of the best shoes made--at any price. More recently I have started Crossfit in them. Still the best for any type of weightlifting. Excellent for metcon type stuff too like box jumps. For running they suffice, but are far from ideal. I'll use them for 400m sprints, but the same rock hard feel that makes them perfect for weight lifting means absolutely no cushioning for running. On longer runs they will beat you up unless you're a perfect forefoot striker. Absolutely order 1/2 size down from what you normally wear. 10.5 Chuck fits me like an 11 in almost every other brand. Very noticeable.

I have 6 pairs of chucks (all different styles), and my charcoal core ox were my first and are still my favorite. After about 6 years they've finally worn out so I just ordered the exact same to replace them, they would've lasted longer but I put them through everything including wearing them in water, mud, and throwing them in the washer to clean up throughout the years. I have flat feet so arch support isn't a concern of mine but if that's what you're looking for, I wouldn't recommend these. No complaints about size and no issues with comfort. They look great with jeans, shorts, even casual dresses and because of this pair I'll always be a diehard Converse fan. Buy them!

I love these shoes. I've worn chucks for decades. I find the gray looks the best. Strange thing though- these are more comfortable now than I remember them being. Still no arch support though. I generally wear a women's 9 and I had to size down in Chucks. The men's 6.5/women's 8.5 fits best.

I am so thankful that I listened to the recommendations to order a half-size down. I usually wear an 8 - I ordered 7.5 & they fit great.

Converse sizes are confusing because some of them run true to size and others do not. Trust the reviews on this one—the Core Ox runs a 1/2 size large. I thought I could order my usual size 8 because I wear an 8 in the Jack Purcell but I ended up going down to a 7.5 and still had room for a light arch support insert. Cute, casual tennis shoe with not much support—a fashion staple.

This pair of converse shoes fits a bit differently than all my others. The fit is tighter than others.

I love the Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers. I am a true size 7 and was nervous about buying a half size smaller, but I am glad I did. The 6 1/2 was the perfect size. Zappos was correct in sharing that people should select 1/2 size down from your normal size.

Classic simple chucks are always the way to go in my opinion! I can wear these with dresses, shorts, jeans etc. Love them and always reach for my converse when I want a little comfort with style! I love the grey as these are a newer shoe to my collection.

Been wearing these for years - always consistent, just follow the advice about sizing down slightly. The back around the ankle was slightly stiff the first few wears but with a bandaid on each heel, it didn't take long to break them in.

The insole feels a bit squishier than I'm used to with Chucks, but it's kinda nice. I like that the loop holds the tongue in place. My old pairs don't have this and the tongue ends up smashed to the side.

These shoes are a classic staple in many closets. I find them a bit smug and narrow for my liking but still wore them regularly. They hold up very well
