I've been wearing these for since I was a kid and I imagine I'll continue to have at least 1 pair in my closet for decades to come. They run very large. I wear an women's 8 or a 38 and in these I have to order a women's 7. It's true that they start to come apart after a while but given that I only wear them on weekends, I can get multiple years of use out of a pair before needing to replace them.

I have these in every color. BUT...if you look there is an Oxford line in the chucks. This insole is much, much, much more cushiony than the traditional pair I have had. I discovered this by shear accident. My old ones the insole is hard as nails! I got a pair of Oxford styles( not noticing the style name) and HOLY CRAP! They are so cushiony and comfy! I wear them constantly! My go to shoe. But I wore my orange Oxford Chucks with EVERYTHING! Because I liked wearing them more than any of the other colors I have with the old insole. Right out of the box I stuck my finger in the bed of the shoe. It was cushiony! And because it’s Zappos! I know what I’m getting! The real Chucks. Not a knock off shoe! So... Yes! I recommend this shoe! From this company! Prices were same if not more on Amazon, eBay, converse, etc.

I purchased these in the Charcoal color and I love them. They are a great addition to my wardrobe when I want to be casual yet need to look pulled together. The Charcoal color is a versatile dark gray and hides dirt, which I really need. I wear them maybe twice a week so I'm expecting they will hold up for a long time since they don't get a lot of abuse from daily wear.

These are perfect combo of cute and comfy. I've worn them with shorts, sundresses and jeans - all adorable looks. I got them in utilitarian gray and there a go-to for summer. I wear a women's size 7 and they were pretty big. Ordered the 6 & 1/2 and they fit much better. As a point of reference, I've never gotten a 6 & 1/2 shoe before so this was an anomaly. I wear them with half socks -the ones that just cover your toes and front part of foot so you don't have the sock sticking out of the top of the shoe. Worked great, no blisters over a 4-day concert venue with lots of walking and it was pretty warm. Enjoy! :-)

The fit is true to size in length and width. I love these timeless classics. They are quite comfortable, the way a slipper feels - not the kind of sneaker I would wear for tennis or hiking but they are great for running around and feeling good!

this is my first pair if converse, so I read the reviews and I bought a half size down. They feel good. I bought the 5.5 abd I think that de 5 could be good but I prefer the sneaker not too tigh

Who doesn't love the classic-looking Chuck Taylor? This was ordered for my 14-year old daughter. This is all the kids wear these days. Love it that Zappos offers a wide range of sizes that we couldn't find elsewhere. She is normally a size 11 in most brands but needed the 10.5 in this style. Zappos was the only place where we could find it.

Very good quality and came super quick!

My pair of white converse are my favorite pair of shoes I own. Since the shoes are white they can get quite dirty, but aside from getting dirty quickly these shoes are in style. Sizes run big because I usually wear a 9 but I fit into an 8. Would totally recommend for purchase.

These are surprisingly comfortable for having very little support. I usually wear an 8.5D in women’s. This shoe fits me in 8.5.
