The shoes were fine, I have several pair and knew what to expect. What I would like to comment on was the service. One of the shoes had several dark streaks on the side and the toe was scuffed although there was no sign of previous wearing. I called customer service that evening and described the situation; within moments the lady told me that a replacement pair would be sent and I received them the next day. Service like this is pretty much unheard of these days. Great job, Zappos!

size and fit seem correct

These are adorable classics! I bought them in white and they go with everything. They aren’t the most supportive shoes I own but they are fine for everyday wear and running around town.

Don't care what anyone says, these shoes don't fit properly. And i'm not talking about overall fit, I'm talking about length. Saying that these shoes are canvas and that's how they should fit is ridiculous. If I buy my normal shoe size and I put them on, I suddenly become Bozo the Clown. They're huge . I then bought a half size smaller. Still too much. Haven't has this problem with any other brand size

Get a half size smaller but if you have a flat feet get your size very narrow

You can’t go wrong with a classic pair of low top Chucks. Bought myself and the hubby matching ones in charcoal for when we’re on the motorcycle (especially during the summer) and want something cooler on our feet than our heavy leather HD boots. Low tops with no socks and rolled/cropped jeans are always in style, too!

Beautiful shoes! They do feel a little big but I have really small and skinny feet so I am used to wear lose shoes. Also, Zappos does a great job at shipping them. I ordered them one night and the next morning, they were in my mailbox.

Shoes were great and Zappos customer service was exceptional.

I first ordered these in my original size as suggested, but they were too narrow so I returned them and ordered a half size bigger. After putting some cushy inserts in, they felt amazing so I took them on my two-week trip to Europe. Big mistake :( After 2 hours of walking through London, I had blisters on my toes and bottoms of my feet. Unfortunately, these were the only walking shoes I took so I had to suffer through for two weeks and now cannot return because they are definitely worn. I know I have wide feet so I did a lot of research before buying these, but unfortunately they just did not work for me.

I love Chucks - I have two pair - low cut (the most recent purchase from Zappo's) and hightop. They're my standard summer footwear. I'm especially impressed with Zappo's, because these arrived on my front porch the day after I ordered them.

As always, order half size down.

It's not what I would call a well made shoe. But whats even worse is the sizing is ridiculous. They say order a half size down and they were still huge. I would recommend ordering a full size down and even then I cant guarantee that they will fit. It's annoying to say the least. Threading on shoe is sloppy. I don't remember when I was younger that Converse and poor quality were one and the same. But the sizing is ridicuolous.
