LOVE MY CHUCKS !

These are my new favorite shoes. I was worried about support but i have been trying to get away from clogs for work. These are the ticket! And Zappos is a great place to get my shoes from! Thank you!

So, let me start by saying...I love Zappo's! The level of service is consistently amazing. Once I had to do an exchange due to sizing and the customer service was over the top. As for the Converse Chuck's...I ordered and received them days before I left on a trip to Ireland. I chose to buy them as my daughter was a huge fan and with luggage restrictions they are fashionable and functional. I crushed my daily Fit Bit targets in these shoes walking all over Ireland.

Chucks are Chucks. Classic shoe, but still pretty uncomfortable.

I mean these are just classics!! I usually go for the white ones but glad I opted for these black ones. They do one a half size larger and their laces are longer than most shoes. But other than that, a great classic pair! I love how lightweight they are!

My old Chucks (bought in the ‘90s) finally gave out. First I bought a pair of the coated leather Chucks, which looked great but were very uncomfortable. The seams near the first eyelet hit me square on the to of the big toe joint, causing increasingly excruciating pain. I assumed they would break in over time but they never did—so they’re currently in the bottom of the donation bin. I decided I’d get a normal canvas pair like my old ones in a slightly smaller size. They seem to be somewhat better, but I’m having the same problem with the seam over the left toe. They’re also incredibly rough at both heels, so I won’t be going sock free for a while. While this is not a rave review, I’ve been wearing Jacks and Chucks for 40 years and they often require some softening up. Despite the problems with the current pair they are considerably more wearable than the leather ones were, and hopefully they’ll break in more successfully!

Classic retro style that I loved. Had to buy a pair for old times sake. Marked comfort as a four since as I have gotten older these shoes were never known for great sole support, and not that my feet have gotten flatter I cannot say I could go on a long walk or an all day event where I stand all day in these shoes without suffering the consequences of foot pain. These shoes run large so I would get a size smaller than you usually get. For example, I normally wear size 14 for sneakers and 13 for dress shoes. I saw reviews saying to get a size smaller but I went ahead and got normal size. I had to return them and get size 13 in these and they fit alot better. maybe not perfect since the shoes are like a quarter to half an inch longer from my big toe. Still ok to wear though but the shoes are naturally a long narrow cut. Unfortunately due to this long narrow cut, my custom orthotics cannot fit in this shoe unless I were to cut them which I would not. This would have addressed my issue above where I probably would not choose to wear these shoes if i know I am walking alot or standing for extended periods of time.

The mens shoes are wider than the women's. They also have more arch support.

I am a woman with large feet and often have trouble finding shoes that truly fit. Converse are a great option. Classic and comfortable. These do have a large toe area, so anticipate ordering a half size smaller than normal.

My daughter loved these shoes so much that when she grew out of her first pair in 2 weeks, I bit the bullet and bought her the next size up without complaining. Now that's love!! :)

My go-to sneaker for decades!

This is my college daughter's second pair. She wore her first pair out after three years of constant wear. She does size 1/2 size down; she usually wears an 8 1/2 and always seems to wear an 8 in these. Cute as can be with her casual college wardrobe, lasts well, and these are her go-to shoes when she wants to be comfortable. Will definitely purchase again.

I would go for a half size smaller than your regular size. I just bought these, called customer service and told a very nice gentleman I spoke with that I wear a 10 in New Balance and asked what size I should order for Chuck Taylor's, and he went to talk to others and came back on the phone and said either 9 or 9.5, up to me and so I ordered the 9.5 and it was fine --fit perfect. Of note, I had a previous pair of Jack Purcells for 10 years and it was a 9 and it was too tight, and I weighed that as well and went for the 9.5, and it fit fine. Bottom line, to me anyway, these run a half size too big so order a half size under your normal size. Look at the size of your other running shoes and drop a half size.

These are exactly what I expected! I size down a half size for Converse. They are comfortable out of the box.

Perfect for my teenager!

They’re a little big on me, should’ve gotten them in 5.5 instead of 6 but it’s okay.

My daughter loves these shoes, they are all she wears now everyday. I will probably be buying more in some other colors for her.
