I have been wearing Cons for 2 decades. I had to return these because apparently they are making them narrower now. When held up to my older pair, they were definitely narrower.

The heel support is terrible in this sneaker, downright painful. As with just about all Converse sneakers, its about a size bigger than the label says.

Barely used Converse Chuck Taylor. Wore it 3 times and metal ring on the side fell off creating a gaping hole. Not sure if I have a bad apple but did not expect such poor quality from Converse. Returning it via Zappos.

These look nice, but do not seem as nicely made as they used to be (not that they were ever super high quality). They creak a lot when I walk, and the canvass on one tore when I tried to pull it on without untying it.

I used to wear Converse shoes absolutely all the time, and took about a 1.5 year break, and then bought these ones. I bought my old size but these ones did not fit me well. I can't quantify in what way the fit was poor, and I had tried wearing them and breaking them in, but I wound up throwing them away after a few months because they were uncomfortable. I was very disappointed.

If you don't mind cheap construction and the rubber bottom separating from the side material after less than a week of wear, this is the shoe for you. The flex point where the toes begin is already separating the material from the rubber, and I've worn them for three days. I had a pair of Vans that fared much better and never had that problem. They look nice and all, the fit is good, I just wish they would last longer.

Classic look that I love. Simple. Yet 1 year later with normal use (wearing them a few times per week), they're worn out. Right after the ball of the foot toward the center of the shoe, the rubber is ripped on both sides of both shoes. The All Star fabric label across the tongue began to come unraveled a few months in. Soles are pretty worn out smooth. Maybe this is good for 1 year of use, but I seem to remember having a pair of Converse in my younger years for many years at a time. For the record, I'm 32 & 108 lbs.

These are very cute, but have no arch support at all. I wear a woman's size 10 with orthopedic inserts, and these slip in the heels with the inserts.

Need to break in? I've only worn the shoes once since I received them. I'm regularly a size 9 Narrow. I ordered an 8 and 1/2 because I heard Converse are usually a half size smaller than usual. The shoes still feel a little large and they're not as comfortable as some similar Polo sneakers I love to wear. However, I'm hoping to break in these new shoes so they'll feel more comfortable.

Red converse sneakers - I have ordered from Zappos in the past and will continue to do so. I always receive easy quick and accurate products. The fit on the converse sneakers are perfect. I ordered my item and the next day I received it with FREE shipping! Can't beat that, and I didn't have to stand on long lines. The quality of all Zappos products are the best and I would and have recommend Zappos to everyone I know. Keep up the GREAT work and BEST customer service I have dealt with so far.

Ouch - These are very cool looking shoes, but super narrow and have no support.

Looks great but feels terrible - These shoes may make you look like a rock star, but they feel about as comfortable as walking around in cardboard boxes. Even just wearing them to work at a desk job, no long walks involved, they make my feet hurt. They also run small and pinch at the toes. I'm not sure why everyone's such a huge fan of them when they're so uncomfortable, even though they are the coolest looking shoe ever. Even sole inserts don't help make them feel comfortable. They're just cold, stiff, and squeaky shoes. All look and no substance. If you don't mind suffering for fashion, these are the shoes for you.

REVIEW OF CHUCKS - My son (11 year old) loves these shoes, but he tends to destroy them within 6 months. I wish they were sturdier for the $.

Sizing - I sized down a 1/2 size and the shoes are still too big. I haven't really worn them because I look like a clown!

Sizing is Sooo OFF - I ordered these shoes the other day and was so excited when they came, but then I tried them on, and they were way too big. I’m usually a 7.5 but when I read other reviews on these shoes, they said to order a half size smaller, so I did, and the 7 was still way to big, at least another whole size bigger. So I now have to return them, but I'm not sure if I will re order another pair!

Con ox - These shoes were a gift for my nephew. He thought the shoe looked like clown shoes a bit. They look pretty long when on the feet. He wears a 9.5 so I ordered a 9 I should have ordered an 8.5 or maybe even an 8. He does wear them though and didn't want me to return them.

Great look, buy some insoles - The shoes look great, but they were really uncomfortable, I had to buy insoles for arch and heel support.

Old Classic- Great shoe if you remember what it is for: loafing around and walking. Do NOT attempt to run or do anything that requires quick movement or you'll find yourself barefooted!

Great Fun But Ouch- Good old Converse tubbies. Wonderful style, like a foot-worn time travel platform. Great look. Vibrant color, well made. Same as ever though, no arch support and when you are 62 and your foot is wider than when you were 17, there's problems with long-term wear.

The shoes are already ripping now that they are no longer made in the USA

Great place to buy shoes - The All Stars were what I was looking for. I got them fast and with no shipping charges. Zappos is a great place to buy.

Pretty but uncomfortable - I bought these shoes in size 6, when I normally wear 8 (in brands like Nike). The shoes look very cute and match all my outfits, but they are just dreadful in terms of comfort. My toes felt very bunched together, and when I tried a size larger, my feet did not fit lengthwise. So buy it for the look, but not for comfort.

Converse old school - Like the look, not bulky as the current sneakers are normally today. They lack the cushion and comfort of todays sneakers. But for quick errands and casual outings, nice shoe. The suggested size for women was not exactly accurate, in my case, I wear 6.5 but I had to exchange for half size smaller.

Look great, feel awful. These look awesome, who can deny such a classic look? As for comfort here is my opinion -- I have flat feet and these have no arch support, so that works perfectly for me. On the other side of the spectrum are blisters. After 2 hours of wearing them I have blisters on my right big toe and my left baby toe. I'm still going to keep them, but they're not going to be my walking shoes, just my wanna-look-good shoes.

Sized way too large! I love these shoes, but unfortunately I'll have to return the pairs I bought for my husband and myself. He is a size 8 1/2 in mens and I am a 9 in wmns. The shoes we received are approx. 1 & 1/2 sizes too large for each of us! Neither of us have ever bought a shoe in these reduced sizes since we were in Jr. High School. Silly.... Still, love the design and will try again.
