I’ve always loved the style of Converse, and I was so thrilled to get these in pink. But the second I put them on, I knew they’d be going back. The thread in the tongue as well as the heel was so stiff it was painful. Sad to see this iconic American shoe is made in India. If your skin on your feet is like leather, you might find these comfortable, but I only made it five feet from my couch to a chair where I took them off they were so incredibly uncomfortable because of the stiff thread.

I’ve been buying Chucks since the 70’s and the fit has changed in the last year. I just bought another 3 pairs, in the same size (14 because I measure a size 14.5) that I’ve worn for nearly two decades, and they don’t fit the same. My pinky toe is now crammed into the angled part of the shoe. My old chucks are fine. New ones all fit differently. I noticed that the 70’s reissue version was REALLY bad in this regard and I had to return it. The others I kept and am just suffering. So bummed about this. Not looking forward to going up to a size 15 but hoping that will solve the problem next year when I do this again.

Ive purchases b4. I do wear leg orthotics and old ones used to fit. These were narrow near the lower toe area Also, I wanted these as they had 5 eyes on ea side. These had 6.

Love these shoes! They can go with any outfit, I am ready to get some more colors!

Sizing is large

This is a very nice style and color, but was too wide in the heel, and a little uncomfortable at the base of the big toe, so I had to return.

I normally wear a size 11.5. These are a 10.5. So they run a full size too big. That makes it frustrating to buy.

I'm never buying another pair of Converse again.

Ive had converse my whole life and this pair is the first that the insole on the inside has ripped off and makes it very uncomfortable to wear. Love the look of this shoe and wish it was made of better quality.

This item was purchased as a gift. The color is listed as charcoal gray. In person the shoes they look taupe - more light brown than gray. Nothing wrong with the shoes, but the color and name on the website are a bit misleading.

My feet are wide and these just weren’t wide enough for my feet & bunions. Love the look though.

I don't know if it's this style or all of converse low-tops but even though they fit fine the back how its stitched cuts into my ankle when with thicker socks.

Not much ventilation means extra sweaty feet. They also make squeaking/popping noises as I walk. Only the right shoe makes a popping noise from the sole bending while I walk. Both shoes make squeaking noises from my heel rubbing against the insole after I've been wearing them a few hours and the sweat has had a chance to soak in. I've been told they will wear in, but if anything the noises are getting worse. It sounds like a clown is approaching. Apart from dumb noises, the construction seems solid and they look good.

Look cool, miserable to wear. These are just not for people who want support for feet, joints or lower back. The toe box is a bit narrow and because of the rubberized toe, of course doesn't give. I was in significant pain wearing these with lo pro socks because the back of the shoe digs into the back of your foot. I left them in a hotel room after 3 days of misery.

I used to wear Converse all the time. After having two kids, my arches collapsed a bit and the top halves of my feet are wider than they used to be (now C width). I used to comfortably wear a women's 8 even with arch support inserts. I ordered the 8.5 (okay in length, not wide enough) and 9 (way too long, not wide enough) in hopes that one of them would be wide enough. Neither was. I could feel the shoes rubbing along the outsides of my toes. The search continues!

I had to return my size 13 as it was a little too long. Otherwise, it looked like a great shoe. I didn’t order the size 12 as I was afraid it might be too small.

They look huge! I even ordered a size down.

I just received my order and the shoe was very, very big. I've been wearing the same size shoe for twenty-five years but this shoe does not fit.

I first ordered these in my original size as suggested, but they were too narrow so I returned them and ordered a half size bigger. After putting some cushy inserts in, they felt amazing so I took them on my two-week trip to Europe. Big mistake :( After 2 hours of walking through London, I had blisters on my toes and bottoms of my feet. Unfortunately, these were the only walking shoes I took so I had to suffer through for two weeks and now cannot return because they are definitely worn. I know I have wide feet so I did a lot of research before buying these, but unfortunately they just did not work for me.

It's not what I would call a well made shoe. But whats even worse is the sizing is ridiculous. They say order a half size down and they were still huge. I would recommend ordering a full size down and even then I cant guarantee that they will fit. It's annoying to say the least. Threading on shoe is sloppy. I don't remember when I was younger that Converse and poor quality were one and the same. But the sizing is ridicuolous.

I want to love these, but I can't until I find the right size. Sizer said order 8, I ordered my usual size 7.5 and they were huge, like clown shoes. I am trying a size down next...determined to find the right one and will probably get more than one color if I do. Will most likely add an arch support. These are flatter than a French crepe!

I had to return left shoe was too small. I followed instructions on site but half a size smaller didn’t work for me.

These seem to run really large. My boyfriend usually wears a size 12, but these fit him like "clown shoes". This was ordered as a replacement shoe for size 12 Chuck's he already owns. Not sure what went wrong....
