It's not what I would call a well made shoe. But whats even worse is the sizing is ridiculous. They say order a half size down and they were still huge. I would recommend ordering a full size down and even then I cant guarantee that they will fit. It's annoying to say the least. Threading on shoe is sloppy. I don't remember when I was younger that Converse and poor quality were one and the same. But the sizing is ridicuolous.

I want to love these, but I can't until I find the right size. Sizer said order 8, I ordered my usual size 7.5 and they were huge, like clown shoes. I am trying a size down next...determined to find the right one and will probably get more than one color if I do. Will most likely add an arch support. These are flatter than a French crepe!

I had to return left shoe was too small. I followed instructions on site but half a size smaller didn’t work for me.

These seem to run really large. My boyfriend usually wears a size 12, but these fit him like "clown shoes". This was ordered as a replacement shoe for size 12 Chuck's he already owns. Not sure what went wrong....

The shoes did not have enough support for my feet. Otherwise they were comfortable

I loved the look and styling of these sneakers. Unfortunately, the fit was not for me. Back of shoe rubbed my heel in a funny spot and was worried that it would give me blisters. Returning them sadly. As usual, Zappos website and delivery were great!

Shoes are nice and sizing seems correct. Zero padding for your feet, though and minimal arch support. It feels like walking directly on the concrete when walking on a parking area.

I have wide feet. These shoes are typically designed for narrow, flatfoot folks. So I have to buy a size larger to be comfortable in these things. I had to buy these for a wedding. I’m wearing them right now but they’re not my favorite. Sometimes I trip over the classic and stylish toe. They look cool though. And I want to look cool. So. There’s that. Converse! Not for me. But maybe for you.

These are the same as any other chuck Taylor, however I will say that these shoes were torn up and unwearable in a couple months. Maybe 2 months is how long they lasted. Meh. You get what you pay for.

These run a size larger lengthwise. Converse seems to be messing with people because its US size is labeled identical to its UK size, but UK sizes usually run a size down from US sizes. Other styles of Converse don't have this weird system in place.

Nothing beats the look of the Converse all-star. Classic and iconic shoe. I have actually been wearing these shoes for many years... I think they were better before Nike owned them and when they were made in America. But, they were failing, so they can't have been THAT great. For how expensive these shoes are (yes, I think $50 is a lot for them) they are not very comfortable. But I suppose that's what Jack Purcell's are for. Long story short. You get what you pay for here. A great looking shoe that is perfect for any occasion. If you think you are getting anything else you are fooling yourself. Oh yes, and the sizes are a bit wonky... order a 1/2 or full size smaller than what you normally wear.

I think they felt really wide and fit more like a men's shoes than what you usually get in a women's. They looked really masculine.

I love me some classic converse but for me they just don't give me enough support

Cool shoes but they run way big (long). I wear size 12 in Vans and every other shoe that I own but I ordered a size 12 in these and the were more like a size 14! I would definitely recommend sizing down at least 1 or 1 and a half sizes.

Love the style Comfortable also But since there is no arch...you can't walk very much. too bad...they would be perfect otherwise.

These always run long (and I do not have narrow feet). I wear a 7.5-8 in other shoes but I have to wear a size 7 in these. The front of the shoe also curves upward but is most noticeable with the white chucks than the other colors, just something to keep in mind if that might bother you.

Got the wrong color shoe. Now I have to send back and won't have the shoe for the event I needed them for. Disappointed

Shoe fits well and looks great, but during my first wear, part of the sole started peeling off. I literally only wore them to walk to and from one class today. :/ Not a good sign.

This is my first time trying this classic shoe. I had high hopes after hearing friends say how much they like these but I am only marginally impressed. The fit is looser than I expected but a smaller size might be too small. The tapered toe is not my favorite because I feel like it makes my feet look longer than they are. That probably also contributes to the problem I have with the sizing. Finally, the price is a bit high for such a simple canvas shoe. If I hadn't had a coupon I probably would have gotten something else.

It says to buy a size smaller, so I did and the shoes were too small.
