Cool shoes - Really cool to look at and fun to wear. Cushioning and arch support are nonexistent so don’t expect a soft walk.

Teenage Son's Shoes - My son said he loved his new shoes and only experienced a little discomfort at first.

Converse sneakers - These are great, fun sneakers. They add kick to any outfit, but they shouldn't be worn for walking long distances as they don't really offer much support. Plus I have wide feet so I don't tie them too tight or they hurt. Love the various colors and the price point is just right.

I have been wanting these - I decided I wanted a pink pair of Converse All-Stars some time ago. I finally decided I needed them when my old blue pair began to have even less support in the soles. Zappos is always fabulous about shipping and returns so I was very happy to find what I wanted here. The shoes must be made by a new manufacturer, though. They warn these run big so I got one half size smaller than the ones I already have and have had for years. The shoes were still way too big. I love the shoes and am happy I could get the right size so easily.

1/2 size down did not work for me - I just wanted to note that I took the advice of posters here and ordered a half size smaller. I've had the shoes for less than 2 months and the sole is separating on one of them at the toe and other seams on the other are also giving way. They also rubbed my toes. I would most definitely order my regular size (10.5) in the future. I have previously had pairs of these that lasted far longer, but it's been a little while.

Classic Converse - Not much support, as we all know, but they look great and are fine if you're not on your feet all day long. Love my new white ones--especially once they got a little dirty and weren't blindingly white. Fast, great service from Zappos as always. I'm an 8.5 in women's and a 6 in men's fit great.

Looks great - wide feet beware - These shoes are iconic in style, but fit and comfort are compromised. Check out Jack Purcells for better comfort (insoles!) and fit with similar styling.

Red All Stars - Zappos was the only place that had red (just red) All Stars, thanks Zappos! The shoe is exactly the same shoe it was when I wore them back in high school. Cute, simple, no arch support. I have a wide foot and after I've walked in these for awhile, my little toe feels a bit pinched. These shoes are definitely for effect/style, not comfort or support!

Great look, but a bit narrow - I love the look of these shoes and they have better cushioning then I expected. BUT they are a bit narrow for those with wider feet. I have a friend with the same pair who had the same issue, but he said they did eventually stretched out. I hope so, because I really like the style of these. They do run a 1/2 size big.

Classic, but lack support - Great looking, classic casual shoes. However, there is no support at all. Also, the toe seems to be narrow, but that could just be my fat feet.

Love my Chuckies! What can I say that hasn't been said already!? These are some great classic shoes. I originally had some in the 80's and loved them. I bought them again about a week ago. Sick. Now that I remembered how much I love these kicks, I'll buy a few more. One thing I did notice is that they are a bit smaller in size than my normal shoe sizes. Not sure if everyone else thought the same. Anyways, a very nice classic shoe.

Looked for a while - Looked for comfy, moderately priced casual shoes for my hubby for a while. He is happy with these and wears them a lot. The price was just right and free shipping. I thought that was cool, but get this...they upgraded my order to overnight for NO CHARGE!!! Great company, great customer service, great product!

Great sneakers for walking around. Pretty comfortable although they shred easily.

Shoes run size bigger for women too - Women should order a size smaller in this shoe. I wear an 8, the equivalent of men's 6, and the shoe was too big. I ended up getting a 7 instead.

Groovy granny - I bought the infant's Chuck Taylor high-tops in red for my 1 yr. old granddaughter and thought that it'd crack everybody up if Granny had a "look alike pair". Mine are really fun, easy to wear and even teenagers think I'm cool...what else do I need, huh? Zappos is a great company to do business with and I'll be a repeat customer!

Black on black ox - Got a pair of the black on black All Star Ox to beat up as my everyday shoe. These definitely run a 1/2 size larger than marked. These are lightweight and moderately comfortable. I added arch support insoles for comfort and they feel so much better. I have wide feet due to my flat feet, but they fit just right for me. Plus they're fashionable! Black on black shoes go with ANYTHING. I could even get away with these at my business-casual dress code workplace. And I love the price for when it's time to replace them.

Classic look, forgo some comfort - Nice, classic look, and not bad comfort, but the Jack Purcell by Converse offers a little more comfort and cushioning.

Old School Chucks - Classic, Classic, Classic! I was between sizes and Zappos was the only place I found to carry half sizes. Thanks! Great look. So so comfort but hey, they're Chucks. You don't buy these to go on a hike. Prompt delivery!!! Remember to order a half to full size down.

Not as comfortable as I remember - These shoes are not what I remembered from when I was a kid. They still look great, but they're not a comfortable as I expected. They feel very narrow, especially around my toes. Perhaps in larger sizes (I wear a 14), the width is not increased proportionally, so this might not be a problem in more normal sizes. The canvas footbed is a little slippery, so I find myself running into the front of the shoes a lot of the time.

The Classic Converse - My son will only wear black Converse because they are so "cool". My only complaint about this shoe is that it tends to wear out after four or five months of heavy usage. This is not a huge issue since kids tend to outgrow their shoes relatively quickly anyway, but I do wish they were a little more durable.

I am very pleased that I found out about ZAPPOS - It was fun shopping the net at ZAPPOS web site. I will place more orders with ZAPPOS. People have asked about the Chucks and I am happy to recommend ZAPPOS. The Chuck Converse All Stars are a good fit after washing. I did have to exchange 1 pair for a smaller size.

I'm a size 11 E and got them in size 11. They're a little tight, but not uncomfortable. I'd suggest going up half a size if you have wide feet.

Good ol' Chucks - but slightly different - I've been wearing Chucks for years since before they became popular again. These are the only shoes I wear - the most comfortable, easy-keeping, and colorful shoes available. I'm giving it 4 stars, however, because this is my first pair of new Chucks in the past, I dunno, maybe 3 years, and they smell and feel differently than any other pair I've had. Chucks have always had a good new shoe smell, but these smell distinctly odd - chemical/glue smell. I usually don't wear socks with Chucks in the summer and have never had a problem - but these new ones are making my feet stink to high Heaven - I have to wash them, like, 3 times. I think they are making Chucks a bit differently and I'm not sure I like it, but overall, still a good, classic shoe, and I still recommend them!

This is a wonderful no frills shoe and it looks great, too - This shoe is not made for marathons or dressed up affairs but it’s great for life. It looks really great, it feels light, and it is just me. It is FLAT though; if you are worried about arch support try a different shoe.
