I am very pleased that I found out about ZAPPOS - It was fun shopping the net at ZAPPOS web site. I will place more orders with ZAPPOS. People have asked about the Chucks and I am happy to recommend ZAPPOS. The Chuck Converse All Stars are a good fit after washing. I did have to exchange 1 pair for a smaller size.

I'm a size 11 E and got them in size 11. They're a little tight, but not uncomfortable. I'd suggest going up half a size if you have wide feet.

Good ol' Chucks - but slightly different - I've been wearing Chucks for years since before they became popular again. These are the only shoes I wear - the most comfortable, easy-keeping, and colorful shoes available. I'm giving it 4 stars, however, because this is my first pair of new Chucks in the past, I dunno, maybe 3 years, and they smell and feel differently than any other pair I've had. Chucks have always had a good new shoe smell, but these smell distinctly odd - chemical/glue smell. I usually don't wear socks with Chucks in the summer and have never had a problem - but these new ones are making my feet stink to high Heaven - I have to wash them, like, 3 times. I think they are making Chucks a bit differently and I'm not sure I like it, but overall, still a good, classic shoe, and I still recommend them!

This is a wonderful no frills shoe and it looks great, too - This shoe is not made for marathons or dressed up affairs but it’s great for life. It looks really great, it feels light, and it is just me. It is FLAT though; if you are worried about arch support try a different shoe.

Great travelers - I like these shoes because they pack very small. And of course, they're Chucks!

A classic! I was looking for a pair of sneakers that would be comfortable and good to walk around in (not for athletic activity). I stumbled across these and had to get them for the nostalgia (I wore these kind of sneakers in the 1970's!).

Great shoes, great fit, just like I remember the first pair of Converse that I ever bought. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised at how fast Zappos delivered them.

Cute, not very comfortable. I bought this style in pink. I ordered a women's size 7.5 but when I received them they were huge. I returned them for a 6.5 which fit perfect so I recommend ordering a size smaller than you normally wear. They're not much for comfort as they provide no arch support so I wouldn't recommend them if you plan on walking for a long period of time. The pink ones are super cute and I've received lots of compliments on them!!

Great 3 season wear - I purchased these for my husband - he loves them. In fact, so much that he has worn them in Chicago during this cold and snowy winter without hesitation. Obviously they are not meant to be snowshoes. He has wide feet and they are comfy for him.

Comfortable...kicks - I enjoy these Converse… They are comfortable, nice and simple to wear with anything. Just one thing, having all black Converse tend to get dirty here and there, but its cleanable.

Pretty good - I like the look of these shoes, though they're certainly not the most comfortable I own. There's plenty of room for inserts, which have made them more comfy. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with my purchase.

Converse All-Stars - Nobody seems able to explain the difference between these All-Star Core Ox and the Chucks (except for different color shoelaces). The reviews seem to overlap and it's confusing. These Core Ox are super cute and fun to wear, not for athletics or comfort. They don't come even close to the great support and comfort of my favorite Sauconys, but the All-Stars are great fun to wear for style.

Converse - I love my shoes! I usually wear a size 7 1/2, so I ordered a size 7, which is what they recommended. They fit perfect! I plan to order more in other colors.

Great basic shoe that felt great the first time I wore them. Looks nice with lots of outfits. For women: I'd recommend sizing down a half size from men/women size chart match. I normally vary between a 7.5 and an 8, and even the 7.5 (men's size 5.5 I believe) was slightly too large.

Retro pleasure - The Converse All Star is a classic - still good looking and not showing it's age. Although a little narrow, it's a fairly comfortable shoe. Do order a half size smaller than you usually wear though and hope for the best on width.

A classic - This is not a shoe you buy for comfort or support. It's a classic and it's cute, that's it. I knew after trying the shoe in stores that my true size was too big in the Converse, I ordered a 1/2 size down on Zappos and it's perfect. I don't think you can get half sizes in stores. The back of the shoe hits my ankles in a bad spot and I need to wear it in a bit before it's comfy. I also have to add in an arch support. But like I said you don't get this shoe for it's comfort. It's so cute and 'in' that you just make it work!

Old skool!!! These are da bomb!!! I wore them all summer with my cargo shorts. However, not meant for heavy duty walking b/c they are very flat. But they look great on my feet, and as always, Zappos is awesome!!!

You'll get exactly what you expect. A basic sneaker, nothing fancy. But that's probably why you're buying it anyway. For women, they definitely feel larger than marked. I got a 3.5 men's/5.5 women's and I usually wear a 6 in womens. I still have a little room, but I don't think I would've wanted to go any smaller. The other thing you have to look out for is that they are a bit stiff and need to be broken in. I got a few blisters on my heel at first (but then again I don't wear socks). Overall, I like the shoes...especially once they start getting older.

Great looks - Tight fit - Love the looks of this shoe. Not the most comfortable. Too tight, but starting to stretch out. No arch support. Typical Chuck Taylor.

They run large, but not too large! I just ordered these shoes (the traditional black with white soles), and as I knew they ran large, I ordered a size down from my normal size. They fit pretty well, but are a little tight (unfortunately, it only became apparent after having them on for several hours, so I couldn't return for a larger size). I am hoping they will stretch a bit, but otherwise, a great shoe! I'd say order a half size down; unless you have very narrow feet (mine are average width).

All Star Low-tops - I've wanted a pair of white (NOT optical white) low tops for a long time and finally bought a pair. Zappos offered a better price than other on-line and brick-&-mortar stores. Note: these shoes run big - I had to order (after two times of trial and error) a 6.5 (ladies) to fit my 7.5 foot.

A maybe shoe - The shoe looks good, but it is not the shoe you want to wear when you are going to be walking or standing for a while cause then they start to hurt. They also get dirty at the white tip easily, but it is easy to clean off.

Converse's All Star® Core OX - Look great, not super comfortable if you have to walk around a lot. Little toe gets pinched in the front.

Classic never goes out of style - It’s been a while since I had a pair of these, but I was relieved to find that they haven't changed! Same comfort and sturdy sole that won't wear out on the pavement.

Runs Big - This shoe runs very big. I usually wear about an 8 in women’s, but it was huge. I had to order a size 7, and it fit fine.
