Converse Chuck Taylors are pretty standard issue. It's a flat sole shoe, good for everyday casual wear but not great for arch support or walking long distances. The shoes are fairly true to size, but I buy a half size smaller than normal and still fits fine. The canvas material has more give and stretch factor than leather or athletic shoes.

I give it 4 stars because not the true size. But great quality, style and comfort. I will buy it again. I gave it to my daughter and she love them.

Was to big had to give it to my daughter. Great quality, like the color. Really love the converse but was to big not true size.

Mu son loved these shoes however he told me Vans's are more comfortable.

These are great stylish shoes. They don't have a lot of arch support and I have yet to wear them on a long day of walking, but they go with everything and super cute for running errands. I ended up with a half size larger than normal and they fit great.

I had always thought converse sneaks made my feet look abnormally large until I read the description on Zappos. It suggested ordering a half size down and what a difference that makes! My only complaint is one of the shoes had a slight dark stain (I ordered white) so that was annoying. I was able to use a wet magic eraser and got most of it out. Oh well, I guess they'll end up dirty regardless.

I have several pairs of the Chuck low tops, every shoe I wear is a 13. Since there was not an offering of 12.5 I went ahead and ordered my standard size, they were quite a bit bigger once on my feet. So I returned them, ordered the size 12 and they fit great. The nice thing about Zappos is that you can return anything, it is not permanent. See what works best for you.

Looks good but fits about a size too big. I look like a clown in them.

My husband loves his chucks. He wears them out within a year, so we're constantly buying replacements. The only thing he doesn't like is the arch support, so he adds in his own Dr. Scholl's inserts and is good to go!

These shoes go well with both jeans and dresses. I bought them for my thirteen year old daughter and she loves them.

I normally wear a women's size 10 so I ordered a men's 8/ women's 10. They were a full size too big. I returned and ordered a men's 7/women's 9 and they fit perfectly. I have narrow feet so they fit me well, but converse tend to run more narrow than most other sneakers.

Very cute shoe, purchased both usual and size smaller after reading the reviews and ended up keeping the smaller one even though it is a bit more narrow. Normal size was way too big and smaller size was narrow. Nonetheless in love with my purchase

I got these in a 7.5 as a gift and they were the exact same size as the 8's I have in a different color. Too big for my recipient so it looks like I'll be keeping them or sending them back.

Good pair of shoes, just as expected for the style and brand. Some of the eyelets were already loose and have since come off completely. I still wear them since it doesn't affect anything about the shoe other than aesthetics.

I bought these for the look, not comfort. If you buy the no show socks, they are more comfortable. But, they are so cute.

Husband loves these shoes. They don't have any arch support but he doesn't seem to mind that. They look great with just about any casual outfit he wears. He has been wearing the same style for many years.

Great all cotton knock around casual shoes. Classic styling doesn't offer any support and has minimal cushioning. Good for the beach or using in the water in a pinch.

I think everyone knows these are a classic. Can't go wrong especially for the price. Wish they had more support, but now the chuck II are out for those who need to have the comfort. Otherwise these are a great a pair of sneakers.

Was exactly what I ordered

Bought these as a gift. Due to a miscommunication, I bought the shoes a full size smaller than the recipient's normal shoe size. He reports that they fit great, and that they are so comfortable that they "feel like wearing slippers". It always makes me uncomfortable to order a different size than normal, but in this case definitely take the advice to order at a 1/2 size smaller!! I used an email coupon offer with this order. I had trouble with the coupon, and Zappos support was there at night on a Sunday to resolve the problem immediately. Great customer service experience! I bought the shoes from my desk in the Midwest and had them shipped to another state as a gift. That saved me a lot of work.

Bought these for my 12 year old daughter. There isn't much support to them and seem to run about a half size larger. This is the trend middle school age girls are wearing. My daughter isn't concerned about comfort as much as style :-)

the kids love these. My daughter wears constantly. For me, they are flat, no support and hurt like crazy. But she wears them all the time
