Felt too long and narrow. Returning

They wash up great

Fit was full size larger. Material nice, not stiff. I am an 8. I got the 7. Rubbed/slipping heel so I have to return. Even with a padding, heel still slips. May be good for fashion only, not walking. Love the white monochrome!

The color is not quite charcoal... I wish they were darker. Otherwise I love my chucks??

This is probably my 5th pair of white Chucks. I just love their iconic look. I usually wear a women's size 9 consistently, but for these I need an 8. If I am going to be wearing them at work, I use Dr. Scholls insoles for more support.

We knew they run 1/2 size larger than others shoes so we ordered 1/2size smaller than we needed for a perfect fit. My grandson loves them, this is not his first pair. Will order them again for him.

I've been buying these for many years and see them as my go-to every day knocking around shoe. My only beef this time is that the slit in the tongue is gone -- without it the tongue won't stay in place and slides all over the top of my foot. I'm sure it saved them $0.01 to cut that step out of the manufacturing process but, damn, it's a disappointment. Such a small thing that makes such a big difference. Damn.

Fit and width are perfect! They don't have that much cushion or arch support though and the heel does rub on the back of my ankle. I've worn them around the house for a day and had pretty sore heels (not quite blisters), hopefully that will be ok after break in. i was wearing with no-show socks, it would probably be fine with regular socks. Only reason for 4 stars is I haven't fully road tested them yet.

Good shoe for the price. Worked for what my son needed.

In all other shoe brands I wear a men's size 9. For these a men's size 8 fit perfect. Very unusual.

The fit was spot on. The style is a classic which you either like or don't. Personally I really enjoy the style of Chuck Taylors. The upper canvas has held up well, but I've worn a hole in one of the soles after about 4 months of wear. I wear them almost daily, and typically walk 3-4 miles every day (mostly on sidewalks and roads).

Throw back appeal with excellent color selection. The gift recipient was very happy.

These were for my granddaughter. It took several attempts to get the right size. And then they had only the rose, not the pink ones she has loved since she was little. I think she is enjoying them nonetheless.

I ordered a Size 8 Men's/Size 10 Women's, but the shoes that were shipped were Size 9 Men's/Size 11 Women's. This is too big for my wife.

Classic Chucks, only all black. Very pleased.

Bought these Chuck Taylors as a gift for our niece. Classic shoe. Minimal improvements in comfort and support since I used to wear them in high school, but we don't buy them for the arch support.

although zappos advises ordering a half-size smaller, i had to go down a full size (& i wear thick socks) so don't be surprised if this happens to you. fortunately, zappos has fast shipping & wonderful free returns so no worries. if you need arch support, be sure to have some on hand, these have none. but they're sooooo cool!

love the way these look, but very uncomfortable -cannot wear for long period of time.

So far, so good. More support and cushion than I was expecting, though still modest in both areas. Stylish, though utilitarian for light weight outdoor needs. I'm happy with my purchase.

Classic style. A bit too long, so shoe bends and clicks at the front when I am walking. Not for extended walking, working out

these fit great and are such a great staple. i recommend.

I feel like these run a fall size to one size large. I have a wider foot so I prefer the half size. Also, they give out a bit quickly with time.

Don’t order a half size down. I wear a women’s 8, so I ordered a women’s 7.5 on the advice of Zappos. I ended up with a shoe that was a bit small. Figured they’d stretch a bit, so I keep them. Unfortunately, they didn’t. Will order my true size in the future. Overall, a quality shoe. The white color looks great with navy scrubs and jeans.

I typically wear a women's size 8 which I ordered and was definitely too big. So I then ordered both a 7.5 and a size 7 since I wasn't quite sure what was going to work based on other people's reviews. The 7.5 ended up being the best fit. I think these are super cute shoes but I wish they had arch support. I bought them knowing they didn't (my husband wears Converse), but thought I could perhaps put an insole replacement in with a bit of arch support. Unfortunately the insole is NOT removable, it is glued in. This really surprised and disappointed me, but it's not intolerable to wear the shoes...just not ideal as I do need arch support. I think I'll adjust to them but they won't be my go-to shoe for exercise or walking. They'll just be for kicking around, which is fine by me with a shoe this cute and lightweight!! Thank you Zappos for lightning fast delivery and an easy return process. It makes going through a shoe comparison process like this pretty painless. It was expensive to do what I did, but the returns were posted to my credit card very fast and now I have the right size shoe. Zappos, you rock.

I ordered my usual size but these felt a half size bigger. The quality seems different than the Chucks I had in the 90s but was still good.
