Great - Comfortable walking shoes. Go with about every outfit. Had to buy men's 4/women's 6 even though I wear size 7 b/c they were very big.

Love these shoes!!! I love these shoes for wearing with jeans and shorts. I had to return my first pair for the next smaller size--so if you are a female--I would recommend ordering a size smaller than you normally wear. I wish I had the room to store a pair in every color!! I love Zappos!!

Old School Chuck T's - I haven't had a pair of these for years, and I forgot how great they are! They rubbed the back of my heals for the first two days of wear, but broke in very quickly. I love these shoes. They look great with everything and are comfortable too. I normally wear a 7.5 in womens, but the 5 in mens(7 in womens) fit me perfectly.

love the white chux - A little while ago I got some white Chucks size 11.5. After I tried them on a few times I realized they didnt really fit me. Sent them back got a size 12. They fit great!!! And through all of that it was THE FASTEST SHIPPING I ever had on any website. # 1 place to buy shoes. I will NEVER buy shoes anywhere else. Zappos all the way #1 yeaaaa!!!!! tack it up

Get a full size smaller - Even after heeding the suggestion to buy a 1/2 smaller, the shoes were still too large. I wear size 9 in Diesel, Adidas, and Pumas, but I would need to get a size 8 or 7.5 for these.

This shoe is really comfortable but I normally wear a 9 and I had to get an 8.5, so I would recommend sizing down a half size.

I only bought these because my 4 year-old son wanted us to have matching shoes, but I really love them. Men notice them a lot more than women and I have walked quite a bit in them without any pain, blisters or sore feet. I ordered both the 8 and 8.5. I usually wear an 8.5, but the 8 fit perfectly. They really make me cool when I wear them because they punk out any outfit with their classic yet retro look! I even wear them in the winter and I live in upstate NY!

Converse all stars - Love these shoes...even though they are "old style" they are very comfortable...much more so than I expected. I am digging these shoes!

classic! let's be honest -- Converse all stars aren't (and never were) too comfortable with very little arch support. But I own two pairs and absolutely love them. If you want a classic shoe that never seems to go out of style and has a life expectancy that far exceeds the average shoe, then I would highly recommend it. It does run a half size smaller than most shoes. I usually wear an women's 8, but I wear the equivalent of a 7.5 in this shoe. (5.5 in men's sizes).

Sneakers, the highest tech - Athletic shoes is the one example of technology that I can think of where the technology didn't advance -- it just became gussied-up, and in the process, degraded. Combining rubber and canvas materials took shoes out of the clumsy, style-driven realms of leathers and furs and created something that was lightweight, shock-absorbing,and sure-footed on slippery surfaces. The good old "sneaker" was all that one wanted for active footwear. Since then, though, gimmicks have abounded. Yes, you could say that some of the newer shoes are more shock-absorbing, with their air pumps, synthetic materials and whatever, but how much more shock-absorbency does anyone need? Making lightweight shoes out of synthetic uppers might subtract a few hundredths of a second from a sprinter's time, but it detracts noticeably from the comfort, as well as the durability. All sorts of styles and marketing ploys are used to try to augment the sneaker, but it is obvious that they are simply just ploys. And what's this business with the elevated heel? Sneakers, at last, had flat soles, certainly the most natural and efficient (not to mention safe) configuration for athletic activity. Now, almost all athletic shoes have the convention-bound elevated heels of their Terrene cousins. Before all these embellished shoes we all thought that Converse were the best sneakers. They were the most comfortable, and were very long-wearing. I, for one, am glad they have not been altered in the course of time.
