Good casual shoes, the look is classic, color slightly darker than that on computer screen but I like them anyway.

You can't really go wrong with the classic white Chucks. Most peeps order a half-size smaller than their norm.

These shoes are pretty darn casual, yet elegant shoes. For those of you who like the business casual style, these (tan colored) shoes will work very well. They are built rather well I do not foresee these shoes breaking apart rather soon, or it might be better to say I am rather happy knowing I will keep these shoes with me for many years to come. The soft cloth-like top is great for day-to-day wear, though it also gives them a soft back which makes it hard to put them on without a shoehorn. That is pretty much a must have for these shoes. I love the style of these shoes, they are built well. My only two complains would be that the white toe area is extremely easy to scuff and dirty, but also easy to wash. The real complaint is comfort. Wearing them for a few hours, sure. Wearing them all day, without shoe inserts, I would not dare. They are flat inside so they are not very comfortable on the soles. For example, the other day I volunteered at a wine event in downtown Chicago where I had to walk around all day without much time to sit. Having only recently bought the shoes, at the time I had the shoes for only about three weeks, I thought it would be a perfect test. After all was said and done, the bottom of my feet were not happy and my big toe was bruised. I do not get that from my business shoes when I walk around all day. I did from these shoes. But it is worth noting that I have also gotten that from other shoes as well such as my army shoes and older flats. Mostly when I hike and have to put a lot of pressure on my feet. So take my comments about comfort with a grain of salt and try them yourself. Overall, I think theses shoes are great but they could use some better sole pad. I am planning on buying another color of these shoes because I like the style so much.

I've been wearing Chuck Taylors for year. Only now I have to order them online and stick to the classic colors because these are the only ones that come in half sizes. I'd have tons of pairs if they made other colors in the half sizes. They're comfortable and they go with everything; that's what I love about them. Even my office clothes when I'm walking back and forth to the train because they're so classic that although they do look out of place they still match in a non-match way. I rated them only 3 stars for comfort because if you need more arch support; there's none at all and you'll need to supplement with an insole and there is a period of breaking in. However I have wide feet, and these accommodate. Also, I disagree that woman's sizes are "true to size." I've found I have to order a half size down. e.g. I normally wear a 7-7.5 but with these I order the 6.5 for women (4.5 for men).

Nice! Comfortable, but I had to size down (even after taking the Converse sizes into account). They look really good, but I tore the canvas on the side of one of them trying to pull it onto my foot (without untying) after only wearing them a couple times. Too bad, but I think if you just untie them every time, should be awesome.

A classic, like mom and apple pie, you can't go wrong with Converse. I am so happy to have re-found them. They have essentially no arch support, but an insert works fine.

A good-looking classic. The blue is slightly faded, like a dark denim. Not much support, but then again you don't expect it with Chucks. I put inserts into them, and it works just fine. These are my 13 year old daughter's shoes, and she wears them nearly every day.

I love this shoe. But I feel the PF Flyers are the same just more stylish! Especially in front the ridged front of the PF Flyers to me makes the shoe look a little better/wider!

These shoes run a little big, ladies. Like a whole size. Knowing that, great sneakers that hold up well.

I've always wanted a pair of red shoes so I bought these Chucks. The color looks great with jeans and I'm likely to buy a pair in white as well. I've not had them long enough to talk about wear but as for sizing...
I wear a 10.5 and ordered these in 10.5. without socks - perfect fit. if I wanted to wear these with socks though I'd order an 11 next time.

Love a classic. These are true to size (and the suggestion that women go down half a size from their women's size). No arch support whatsoever, but I've owned multiple pairs of these shoes throughout my life and know what to expect.

These are great classy shoes that goes well with many outfits, even skirts. They look great dirty as well as clean. A few problems however: the first pair of these that I received squeaked annoyingly and never stopped no matter how much I tried to wear them in. My new pair has recently just started squeaking when I bend my right foot. On top of this, the rubber edging is starting to peel off on the edges of the shoes where they bend when I take steps. I had to cut off the part that was hanging off. On top of this, the bottom is so thick and inflexible that I cannot feel my car's pedals underneath my feet. This is annoying and frightening.

True to size. Nice pink color. The heel of the shoe is a little high for me and rubs a little.

Cute and stylish! I found the shoe to run large so I exchanged them for a full size smaller and the fit is perfect! (Zappos made it quick and easy to exchange!) Overall, great shoe that I would recommend!

These shoes are are awesome. Zappos is the only place I could find half sizes. I wear a 9.5 and I couldn't get these sizes anywhere in Atlanta.
The only down side to these shoes is there is not a lot of support and I wouldn't recommend wearing them for longer than 5-6 hours. Especially if you have flat feet.
They are stylish though.

Definitely buy small. I went a full size smaller than normal and still had lots of room. I bought these for CrossFit. Second pair. Can't beat the price and adaptability for typical CrossFit WODs (I also have Vibram Komodos and Asics). I didn't get blisters on my first pair but did on this pair, by the pinky toes.

This is a classic. Convenient and comfortable. A lot of people wear these, and now I know why. They are very flat shoes, though.

I love the durability of the Converse shoe and the fact that Zappos has fun colors for us adults. This particular shoe, though, I felt ran a little more on the narrow side. I love Zappos and will not hesitate to order from them again!

I really like this boot! The fabric top gives it neat styling. This isn’t meant to be a mere comfort boot, but I think breaking it in will also do the trick if you plan on walking all day. Nice size heel, great hard rounded toe, and the "slouchy" leather is part of the boot’s style. It isn’t meant to be a stiff boot. I ordered my normal size and the boot fits perfect and I have narrow feet. I am only able to wear thin socks with them. Also, I at first had trouble with the side zipper and found that it was excess glue stuck in the zipper and after I got it off, it works fine now.

Stylish, but...
I love the style, they look great with everything don't get me wrong. But if you're going to do any serious walking or standing all day these will leave your entire legs sore at night. (I made the mistake of bringing only these on a vacation in Europe!)
My feet are a bit wide, did fine until the side rubber started detaching at the balls of my feet, now the canvas has a hole from me re-gluing them so much. Also, one of my feet is a half size smaller than the other, so I had to get heel pads to fill out the shoe because I had the most awful blisters even with thick athletic socks! I had to wear flip flops for a week to let my heel recuperate.
It was a lot of trouble to get these broken in, but it's been worth it, in two years my Chucks have been half way around the world and I wouldn't trade them for a new pair until the soles fall off completely! Just beware; they invented Nike's in the 70s because Chucks just aren't very comfortable.

Chuckies - Low -
These shoes are great. Retro. Actually, I was around when they were new! They are great casual shoes - I wouldn't play hoops in them. But the look, and coolness factor make the Converse All Star a necessity for everyone's shoe collection - and the more colors you have ... even better, 'cause one pair is not enough! Get out there and walk the walk of cool ... you will be noticed.

Good everyday shoes -
I have 3 pairs of Chuck Taylors and they are my everyday shoes. Follow their company sizing chart - it's pretty accurate. Not for long distance walking and in fact it's not even that durable (one of them is in very bad condition - tears & holes after only 4 years), but you can always replace them.

Great look, no comfort -
Bought these for my 15 year old daughter, she has several pairs of Converse. Great look...not comfortable. Wish they would size according to other companies.

Great with jeans!
This shoe will never go out of style. I suggest you buy the hi tops. Better support for the ankle. And a couple of $5 dollar shoe inserts is a good idea also.
