Classic shoe, world renowned! I remember wearing these as a kid. Little did anyone know that these shoes would have such staying power! I bought these shoes for a nephew of mine, in Nepal where they are considered the "cool" shoes to own. In my travel around the world these shoes, like Elvis, are EVERYWHERE. As far as my own, they are still comfy and perfectly fit their role as a casual, hanging around type shoe. I have running shoes, hiking shoes, etc but these are the ones I reach for when I'm just knocking about. Are they perfect? Not by a long shot... no arch support to speak of and the canvas has no give and won't really conform to your foot (so get them right the first time!) but, like a favorite set of slippers, definitely "go-to's".

Love at first sight - I absolutely love my new Converse, and I am so amazed at the level of excellence that Zappos displays in terms of customer satisfaction. I'm a size 11 E and got them in size 11. They're a little tight, but not uncomfortable. I'd suggest going up half a size if you have wide feet.

All Star Review - I bought the shoes for my 4 year old son. Very pleased with the material of the shoes and planning on buying another pair in red.

Good ol' Chucks - but slightly different - I've been wearing Chucks for years since before they became popular again. These are the only shoes I wear - the most comfortable, easy-keeping, and colorful shoes available. I'm giving it 4 stars, however, because this is my first pair of new Chucks in the past, I dunno, maybe 3 years, and they smell and feel differently than any other pair I've had. Chucks have always had a good new shoe smell, but these smell distinctly odd - chemical/glue smell. I usually don't wear socks with Chucks in the summer and have never had a problem - but these new ones are making my feet stink to high Heaven - I have to wash them, like, 3 times. I think they are making Chucks a bit differently and I'm not sure I like it, but overall, still a good, classic shoe, and I still recommend them!

My Chucks - I have worn Converse for years. They never go out of style! They are fun, comfortable, and classic.

Bought these in red and they are so cute. I usually wear an 8 but ordered down a 1/2 size since they run big. No very cushy inside, but you'll love them. They go with everything. Love Zappos because the red were hard to find out in retail. They were also delivered the next day. Great service.

This is a wonderful no frills shoe and it looks great, too - This shoe is not made for marathons or dressed up affairs but it’s great for life. It looks really great, it feels light, and it is just me. It is FLAT though; if you are worried about arch support try a different shoe.

Ordered for my 11 year old - These are all the rage with the kids, very retro and all that. My son loves them, they are "cool". I remember when I was about his age all the boys wore them and some girls, too, but we never had pink like they make them now for the girls. They are a good spring/summer sneaker as they are canvas. Overall pleased with them. Zappos is fast and competitively priced!

Fit good and look good - Suggested size to buy is accurate for both men and women. For the women's sizing I need to wear with socks which is what I intended. Look really cute on and feel solid and comfy when walking around.

I ride my Harley in these - perfect fit at 14D - I used to play hoops in these as a child in the sixties and love the retro look. Now I ride my 2006 Road King in the summer with these, jeans, and Harley Tee's - they look and feel great - perfect fit for me at size 14.

All Star® Core OX - I bought these in white. I've had a pair in black for over a year and they're still as comfortable as ever. I love the look of them and they go with lots of styles. These shoes are awesome for any age, I'm 16 and they're definitely cool. They're a good casual shoe, but I wouldn't recommend them hiking or running long distance.

My favorite shoe! I wear these with just about everything. No arch support, but with a gel insole, they are perfect.

14 year old's request - My son requested these shoes and loves them. We ordered down a size from his high-top Converse. He needed a lighter weight sneaker for the Spring (the leathers are too heavy).

Just like I remember - These shoes are just as I remember from my childhood. So very comfortable! And I like the flat soles and no arch. Perfect with jeans! I would highly recommend them unless you need an arch in your shoe. The products and service of Zappos are absolutely incomparable. Thank you, Zappos.

A classic! I was looking for a pair of sneakers that would be comfortable and good to walk around in (not for athletic activity). I stumbled across these and had to get them for the nostalgia (I wore these kind of sneakers in the 1970's!).

Classic casual - Ordered normal size & I'm wearing them with Superfeet insoles. VERY little support - NOT the right shoe to wear if you're on your feet all day or are walking far.

Classic in every way, but order a size or more down - No need to pass judgment on the style or comfort of these shoes--both are well established. Do exercise caution in sizing, though: I normally wear a size 11 or 11.5 sneaker, and I wear a 9.5 in Chucks Zappos' recommendation to order a lower size is right on, but a half size may not be enough. Oh yeah, and they came in 23 hours from Kentucky to NYC...quicker than a package ordered 4 days prior from Brooklyn. Impeccable service.

Washington State - Love these shoes! Very comfortable! I wear a lot of heels but when I want to dress down these are the perfect shoes! Would recommend to everyone!

Great shoes, great fit, just like I remember the first pair of Converse that I ever bought. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised at how fast Zappos delivered them.

Classic - I've been wearing Chucks for over 20 years and I never get tired of the look, both high and low. It's a family tradition - my dad wore high-tops when he was a high school basketball star in the '50s. I do use an arch support (my how athletic shoe technology has advanced!), even though I'm wearing them for style and not shooting hoops and they do just fine! I have very small feet, but kinda wide and they fit true to size.

Cute, not very comfortable. I bought this style in pink. I ordered a women's size 7.5 but when I received them they were huge. I returned them for a 6.5 which fit perfect so I recommend ordering a size smaller than you normally wear. They're not much for comfort as they provide no arch support so I wouldn't recommend them if you plan on walking for a long period of time. The pink ones are super cute and I've received lots of compliments on them!!
