There are two reasons to buy these. First, looks. These are exactly what many college students. wear on campus. Second, safety. It rains a lot where I attend school, and sidewalks are often slick. These shoes have a felt-like edge on the soles that prevent slipping. This edge also helps prevent slipping in spilled beer at my off-campus pizza parlor job. Inserts help give more arch support.

All I can say is I love the convience of shopping at Zappos and no one can compete with their return policy. People don't waste your time at the mall shop at Zappos!

While these Convese All Stars were a gift and had been a staple of my son's wardrobe for many years, the service from Zappos was outstanding. Really fast delivery at a time when I needed a fast delivery, and no shipping charges to boot.

Our son requested a specific tennis shoe by Converse. I wasn't able to find it at any of the stores, so I tried Zappos for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at the amazing selection of shoes. I ordered and even received a discount coupon to sweeten the pot...can I say I was "Pleased!" The order arrived within a few days and this was during the Christmas rush. Great pair of kick around shoes to have. I really like having them to wear on weekends. Down sized half size, fits right. I put insoles to add for arch support.

Love my Chucks. Finally had to get rid of my grey pair after wearing a whole through the bottom. Replaced them with pink, and after a few weeks of breaking in, they are perfect.

Have many pairs of this shoe and they always fit and look great. I always get a half size smaller to fit well.

I only reluctantly ordered a new pair of Converses. My trusty Cons were old. The white parts were dirty and brown. When I first got them, they had incredible traction and gripped everything. Now, the soles are almost smooth from wear. But I have amazing memories of all the things I've done in them! I hated to admit that I needed a new pair. It's a nice thing to know that I can rely on my new pair to be identical. I wear a woman's size 9.5, and got a 7.5 in the Cons. The fit is perfect. Zappos overnighted them to me. I love Converse and Zappos.

Awesome shoes. They are simple, but look great and are quite comfortable.

These sneakers are really cute, and a great price. However, they are absolutely not sneakers I can wear all day. At my job, I stand on my feet for an average of 7-8 hours. My feet were on fire all night. The only way I'd wear these back to work is if I get some gel insoles. But for an average day, where not much standing is involved they should be okay.

What can I say that hasn't already been said. They're Converse All Stars. They're a tried and true classic. The kids think life won't go on if they don't have them!

I have ordered shoes from Zappos for at least 7-8 years. I have always been very impressed by their fast shipping. I have always received the items that I ordered. Never have I had to return anything back to them for an exchange. I tell everyone about Zappos, and I would hope that you would also.

Great sneaker, great price point. Go down 1/2 size, though, because they do run a little big. Can't wait to order my spring colors! Thanks Zappos!! And please keep carrying half sizes.

Great shoe but sized bad. I wear an 8 in every shoe. I ordered an 8 in this shoe and it was huge, so I returned it and ordered a 7, still to big, I should have ordered these shoes 2 sizes smaller than what I usually wear. Must say Zappos has the easiest, most convienant return procedures. Just print a label from their site and drop at a UPS store, no charge! No hassle compared to other online sites.

Good shoe. Only problem was that they ran much smaller than my regular size. I usually wear 8's or 7.5's on rare cases. I ended up men's size 6, after I returned 2 a size 8 and size 7.

When I first received the shoe, it was too large; but I was quickly sent a smaller size to exchange it with. The service was outstanding.

Great shoe! I use these primarily for weight lifting and crossfit. Only (minor) complaint I have is that they were a little tight out of the box; but after playing with the laces and breaking them in, they fit fine.

I can't remember ever not owning a pair of Chuck Taylors. They're a classic that never go out of style. They hold together pretty well, too; I still have a pair I bought 20 years ago! Though the price has gone up over the years, the attention to comfort, unfortunately, has not. I usually put an arch support in mine to make them a little softer and more supportive. I bought this pair for my husband. They run about a full size larger than you normally wear.

Love these and have them in black but decided to get the pink ones! Can't go wrong with a classic!

It's the perfect shoe for when you don't want to wear plan old sneakers. They fit true to size, have little arch support but are fine to walk distances in if you are used to shoes with little to no arch support.

I love these shoes! If you're going casual, there's simply nothing better than the classic look of Chucks. The soles are thin and offer no arch support, but everyone knows Chucks aren't for serious walking! I know a lot of people say these shoes are narrow, but my feet are a little on the wide side and these still fit me comfortably, especially after I've worn them a week or so and they are nicely broken in. I usually wear a size 10, but these feel a little bigger than that...not quite a full size bigger, though. My favorite feature is the canvas material; unlike most athletic shoes, these allow my feet - which tend to get hot - to breathe a bit. I currently own these in red and green, and see no reason to ever be without a pair of Chucks! I think a pair of black hi tops will be the next addition to my collection.

It was very easy to place my order. The shoes took about a week to arrive, but it was standard shipping, so that's not so bad.

I have been wearing Converse All Stars for many years and still enjoy these classics. The quality is still up to par. I like the breathable canvas which is hard to find in a sports shoe these days. Not much arch support in these shoes so if you have high arches you may need inserts. A comfortable shoe for me and I wear them to work daily.

I bought this shoe for my girlfriend and she liked it. I missed her birthday in the summer but I am making it up now. Except one thing, regarding shipping. I chose 3 day shipping but it did not come until a week later. That is the only thing they need to work on otherwise it is fine
