I feel young again! I bought these shoes as a gift for myself for my 50th birthday. A student in my elementary school told me I "look tight". They don't offer a lot of arch support but they certainly supported my need for a youthful image!

American as Apple Pie-Converse A/S Core OX - I could definitely see James Dean in these, as well as Elvis Presley...to name a couple of American icons. These shoes are synonymous with the American image as Levi's, and a great deal for the money. My son wears them daily, and is hard on his shoes...these definitely do the job: look good, feel good and last.

CLASSIC - This shoe has seriously been a staple in my wardrobe for years. I've had all colors as well as hi-tops and they are great to wear with anything. Arch support, eh. Oh well though. I do wear a size smaller in these than in anything else and always have since I started wearing them.

"Great for the Money, Good for the show!" It is obvious that the Converse All Star is quite a shoe considering that it has been around for a rather long time (my parents had a pair) and this particular shoe is no exception! Comfort-wise their pretty awesome. When I went to NY on vacation, I only took two pairs of shoes; a pair of dress shoes and my Converses. They held up great, not once were my feet uncomfortable, tired maybe, but always comfortable. They look great too! I admit I personally like to dirty mine up a bit to make them look worn in or something like that. Even so, just about anywhere you go, if someone is wearing Converses, they are usually exuding coolness. What else do you have to know? They look great, whether you’re the trendy type or the punk rock type, and they feel great.

A Must Have!!! I didn't realize that I had denied myself the pleasure of this shoe for too long. I don't even mind the fact there is no arch support or general level of cushioning in this shoe what-so-ever, it's still a "must have". It can easily dress up an outfit or down, you can wear them with or without socks with jeans or cargo shorts, that's how utterly versatile they are. But the fact remains clear, every man needs at least one pair of these in his closet, I say black or white, for whatever reason I don't really feel the other colors, they just weren't my cup of tea. But regardless of what color you like, buy them; you woun't regret it. And amazingly enough they made my feet look more narrow instead of the barges they are. COOL!!!

The best shoes created - For those with long, skinny feet, these shoes are just unbeatable. Color selections are true to website, and over all, the shoes wear fabulously.

Fun shoes, but they definitely feel long and narrow.

A classic - Great looking and fun to wear, comfortable as a pair of old sneakers, Converse are ever the classic.

My son got me these shoes, in black, lo tops- he got the black hi tops! They are great fun to wear, look great with jeans, or denim shirt. I love my Chucks!

A True Classic!! All the comfort and style that you remember from you're first pair of All Stars as a kid. I'd order a half size larger than your normal shoe size to get a proper fit. Great shoe!!

Classic Style - I have always loved Chuck Taylors, and this pair is no exception. They do run large, so order a size or a half-size smaller than usual and you will be fine. The only reason I only gave these 4 stars for comfort is the lack of arch support. I can (and do) walk around in them all day with no problems, but I find myself wishing for a little more support at times. Not a big sacrifice for such a classic shoe that goes with everything imaginable.

I love my Chucks!! I get a plain black pair of Chucks every summer. I love these shoes; they're so light and comfy. The sizing guide is very accurate on here. Also, Zappos rocks with fast shipping. I ordered these on a Thursday night and received them on Monday afternoon.

A classic, but felt really big. I love these shoes. They are truly a classic. Very simple and clean. There are two "problems", but of which can be solved. First, no arch support. Not a problem for me, but just a warning to others for whom this might be a problem. Second, this shoe runs really big. I'm a true 9.5 in women's and even ordered a half-size down after reading the remarks from previous buyers, but the shoe was still too big. Unfortunately I have to return the shoe, but I will exchange for the next half-size down (putting me at a 8.5 in women's, which I haven't been since the 7th grade, and I'm now in my 30's!). Other than that, a great shoe.

Great shoe, buy 1/2 size smaller - Exactly as pictured and exactly as I remember them...I wear a 9 in women's and was happy buying 1/2 size smaller (6 1/2 men's, 8 1/2 women's). Not a ton of arch support, but this could be fixed with an insert.

Wedding Shoes - I love converse sneakers. They defiantly help me express my style. I own several pairs including a pair of pink and orange plaid. This particular pair of shoes is very special because I am planning on wearing them with my wedding dress. My fiancée and I decided that we both would be wear converse for our wedding in August. He will wear solid black hi-tops and I will wear solid white lows! Wish us luck!!

Converse All-Stars - Great Shoes. The All-Stars are the only sneakers I've owned since high school. With all the color options, they never go out of style. There is nothing fancy about them, just some canvas and a rubber sole, so don't expect great ankle support or foot protection on cold/rainy days. I recommend buying them a 1/2 size smaller than you usually wear; they'll fit better. I wear a size 12 in dress shoes, but an 11.5 in All-Stars.

Great purchase. The shoes arrived within 48 hours and look great. They do run big, the 12.5 fit just as well as my usual 13's.

Purely Awesome - WOW! These shoes are awesome. I have been wearing a pair of Adidas shoes forever because I couldn't find another shoe that was as comfortable. Now I have. These babies feel like I am not wearing shoes at all and are so comfortable. They do not have too much arch support but I am flat footed and do not need it. Zappos is purely the greatest, ordered yesterday and received the shoes in 26 hours. WOW! GREAT JOB GUYS, I found a new place to shop.

Lovin' Them! I love shoes, but only comfortable shoes. I have Cerebral Palsy so I am usually picky about my shoes, and these are great. I haven't found the arch support to be a problem, but they don't have any arch support. They are comfortable and cute and are a possibility for every day wear! The sizes are a little big. I usually wear a 9 and I wear an 8 in these shoes.

Excellent - My daughter is crazy about these shoes. It’s impossible to find the authentic article where we live so we managed to order it in time for relatives visiting the US to receive them and bring them to us. The quality is super. Zappos service is super. I rarely make purchases over the net, so I did it by phone. Your sizing advice was spot on. Glad I found your website - what a huge range you carry!

Good Shoe!!!!! I love Converse shoes!! They look great and the comfort for me is great!! When I was littler I wore Converse All Star OX (Infant/ Youth) I grew out of those sizes and moved on to this shoe. If any of you are on the same boat as me and you are a men size if you are a size 3 Youth and you want to go up 1 get a size 4 Men/Size 6 women...

Boss! I never really liked Converse for the longest time, but after seeing them on this one girl practically everyday in one of my classes, I couldn't help but think they looked so cool. So I gave in and got a pair of the Chucks in navy...and let me tell you: I don't just like them, I am obsessed. They look amazing with everything (especially jeans) and the fit is great. They are a little uncomfortable at first, but with wear they get better. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5, but I chose a men's 5.5 (wmns 7.5) and they fit just fine. Looking for my third pair as we speak. :)

An American Classic - Pros: Chucks never go out of style. Just like a pair of jeans they only look better the more you wear them. Cons: Runs really big. In Chucks I wear 9.5 and I wear a 10.5 in all other shoes.
