As a loyal customer of Zappos.com I knew they would carry this shoe my son wanted. I read reviews about ordering a size down and when I asked the customer service rep she told me she ordered the exact same shoe and recommended that I order his true size. I knew returns would be easy if it did not work so I did as suggested. She was right. The shoe fit perfectly and he was very pleased. I was so glad to of had a Rep who knew the product. Bravo Zappos! I love Converse! They are comfortable, breathable, and durable. They go with almost every outfit!

Classic Chuck Taylor look great, but run very large. I typically wear men's size 10. For these I wear 8.5.

A pretty okay shoe. Cleans up pretty decently, looks good and the only complaint I have is that the shoe itself doesn't offer much support, so you may want to take that into consideration if you spend a lot of time walking around.

Of course these are the throwback Chuck Taylors that were once the only basketball shoe on the market. Times have changed and so have the shoes. These are classic and go great with jeans. They fit perfect and form to your feet after wear. You may try getting a half size smaller so that you do not have to close up the anklets. These shoes are back in style and I recommend them for that casual feel they provide.

They're Chuck Taylors. I use them for deadlifting. They don't look or feel great, but they are the ultimate minimal shoe.

These are awesome shoes. They are stylish, comfortable, lightweight, and sturdy. I never got a pair of converse shoes as a kid so I am finally getting my fix at age 36. Now I get why they are so popular!

I bought these in black monochrome. I have been wearing this style for years, this is the first time I have been disappointed. The sidewall trim started to separate from the shoe after only a few weeks of wear. This has never happened in the past. Sad to see the quality of this brand going downhill. (This has nothing to do with the service from Zappos which was amazing as usual.)

These shoes run a little big, ladies. Like a whole size. Knowing that, great sneakers that hold up well.

This is an awesome shoe. It's not the most comfortable shoe out there but it is decent enough that you can wear it for hours. The shoe is classic looking and looks great with jeans. It can be worn on many different occasions. I will buy another pair once i run these down.

I've always wanted a pair of red shoes so I bought these Chucks. The color looks great with jeans and I'm likely to buy a pair in white as well. I've not had them long enough to talk about wear but as for sizing... I wear a 10.5 and ordered these in 10.5. without socks - perfect fit. if I wanted to wear these with socks though I'd order an 11 next time.

I bought these in red in a size 7.5. I haven't worn Converse in about 20 years but I really wanted a pair of red sneakers. These fit great, were very comfortable out of the box and look really cute, especially with white jeans. These are about a half size bigger than marked, I normally wear an eight and a 7.5 fits perfectly. I had ordered the seasonal oxfords in Dress Blues and I tried both an eight and a seven because they don't come in half sizes but neither worked for me. These don't have a ton of arch support or padding but you can always add that if necessary. The color is a true, vivid red. The best part, which I didn't know until they arrived, is that a portion of the purchase price of the red ones goes to charity as part of (Product) red. I highly recommend these, they're cute, they're classic and you can contribute to charity at the same time!

These shoes are classic and very summery. I purchased them in white and absolutely love them. I'm normally a 6.5 in women's shoes, but after reading multiple reviews decided to try them in a 5.5. They came today and the 5.5 fits me perfectly. I have medium/wide feet and they fit snugly but comfortably. If you are a women, definitely size down a full size.

With-in one month, the side rubber cracked, and the soles started to shred. I remember Chuck Taylors lasting much longer.

I bought these to just have a more casual pair of sneakers around. I put off getting them for years because the stores only carried full sizes, but when I heard they came in half sizes too I ordered a pair. I'm a Women's size 6.5 usually, and I tried on a size 6 in a local store to get a sense of the sizing, but that was too big and ultimately ordered a 5.5 which fit fine. I noticed in putting them on for the first time that they have basically no support, but I put a pair of arch supports in them and they're good to go.

I have been wearing Chuck Taylor All Stars for many years, since before they became cool to wear. The only place for me to find them has been on the internet, I recently ordered them from Zappos. The ordering process was simple and the product was delivered more quickly than advertised. I will definitely order from them again.

I love this shoe. It's the classic lacy look that screams Chuck Taylor. It won't be the most comfotable shoe in your closet, and you shouldn't reach for it if you're going to be walking all day, but if you're even considering buying this I say it is a must buy. I can't say enough for the style and look of this shoe.

Love these shoes - retro, funky, cute! And I love Zappos! Selection and service absolutely cannot be beat. One thing to note: I have a pair of Converse hi-tops that I had to exchange for 1/2 size down from my usual size 8. I'm glad I ordered my usual size 8 in this style, as it fits true to size.

Size down! I read these ran large so ordered a 6 instead of a 6.5 (I sometimes even wear a 7) but wound up needing the 5.5. Awesome, comfy, classic shoe! Might need the pink, too!

What more can be said about Chuck Taylors? They are the quintessential classics - timeless, adaptable, and versatile - never out of style or out of place. I've been wearing Converse (mostly Chucks and some Jack Purcells as well) for eons, and I keep coming back for the great style, excellent value, and just generally good vibe they seem to generate! I got the all black version to wear with jeans and darker khakis - they're perfect. Easy to get through security at the airport - added bonus. I think I'll probably be buried in a pair of Chuck Taylors.

I wore Chuck Taylors long ago when I was a kid. Since I needed new sneakers, I though I'd try them again after all these years. They've got less arch support than modern running shoes, but feel great.
