Just as I recall them as a kid. I bought me and my two little boys (5 & 8) a pair each. Like the site says, they run at least a half size big, but they fit nicely, and if you lace them up, as opposed to the way kids wear them today, then the extra toe room doesn't matter. Had lots of comments. Everybody loves the retro "kicks."

Happy with this shoe. Cute with skinny jeans or leggings. In women's I usually wear a 9 medium, but the Converse made only for women are too narrow for me. In the Chuck Taylor All Star (which is sized for men but with women's sizing to correspond), I took an 8 1/2. The width is fine and the toe box is large but the size 9 was way too long. Comfortable, cute shoe.

I accidentally ordered the wrong "white" color of Converse. Zappos sent me the correct pair with 2 day shipping free and said just send the other ones back within 2 weeks. Zappos offered to send the correct ones before I returned the incorrect shoes, based on trust that I would. Love that! Of course, I sent them back the same day! I was motivated by their kindness. Customer service is cheerful and everything about Zappos is contagious! Also love the joke of the day!

Old faithful! I keep buying the same pair for my daughter when they get old or too dirty, which is often. You always know what to expect with Chucks. Wish they could make them more comfortable with more padding and arch support!

Ordered a pair for my husband. He usually wears a size 13. Forgot men Converse run small and didn't read the disclosure that explains that on Zappos! Anyway love this shoe, timeless classic. Just order one size smaller for men!

I love these shoes. I wear this style all the time. I have knee issues and I put insoles into them and they are the most comfortable shoe for me to walk in. I have the dark green, off white & dark blue colors. They are all amazing.

I ordered these had to walk in them a few days before writing my view and let me tell you these are the most comfortable sneakers I own so I ordered them in charcoal also and as I go alone I'll probably have about four or five pair. I normally wear a size 9 1/2 but I got the women's size 9 and it fits great. Wish they'd get more of the cherry tomatoe (orange) color. I want that one bad!

Tthe venerable Chuck Taylor. A work in comfort and durability, these kicks are equally at home paired with an ironic T-Shirt as they are with argyle socks and a dress shirt. This pair specifically are the Core variant, meaning they are the standard canvas material with the main color choices. You can seek out other materials and colors, but for the classic Chuck-T look and feel, these are your shoes.

Love, love, love these shoes! They're still a classic & go with anything. (Just wish they came with more arch support in them.)

I am a huge Chuck Taylor fan, they are really the only shoes I wear. These are standard Chucks. Usual fit and wear, little to no arch (which I love), narrow width, and men's sizing. I had wanted a pink pair and had a hard time finding them in my size at other stores. But Zappos came through!

For my Converse Chuck Taylor AllStars the shoes arrived in great condition, however, I need to return them for a smaller size. I normally wear an 8, ordered down half a size because I remember the men -> women's size chart runs large. It turns out that I need to exchange for a men's 5 / women's 7. Women, order an entire size down!

I love my Chucks! And I wear a pair everyday. Really. These are a great color, but the canvas began separating from the rubber at the ball of my foot after 3 weeks. I usually see minimal separation after a year, so I was surprised. Zappos sent me a new pair in seconds with no questions asked and it's so far so good. And I'm sure you already know, but order a size down.
