In the matter of less than a week I received these items in a great condition. Shipping time surprised me because I thought it would be delayed like most orders but this one was not. I purchased two pairs of these to ensure the best fit. Although I did read the reviews about the sizing, I felt my TRUE size of 8 1/2 fit better than the 1/2 size smaller that was suggested. I will be retiring from teaching elementary school and my next chapter in life will be teaching in an area prison. I think these will fit the bill for comfort and safety.

My daughter wears Converse All-Stars as her school shoes. We ordered white and navy. She loves the navy ones because although her school uniform requires either white or black sneakers, the navy version is dark enough to pass for black. She now has something she can wear, and something that is a little different and unique to her which for a teenager is pretty cool!

I love Chucks; they're so classic, and they go with just about everything! I'm an 8.5 in women's and I ordered these in an 8.5 but I wish I would have gotten them a size smaller they're a tad too big. I don't know how Zappos does their sizing because I've never had an issue before. Nonetheless still an awesome shoe, I have them in almost every color!

This show covers your feet so you can go in to retail stores and other fine establishments which require foote are without causing trouble. They're also narrow enough at the tow end to step on guitar pedals without accidentally hitting other effects. Also they've been cool for like 50 years now. So they've got that going for them, which is nice.

Great pair of "sneakers"...that's what these were called when I last wore a pair in junior high school (many years ago)! I wouldn't wear these every day...little or no arch support. They are great fun though...window back in time! It's fun to see the look on everyone's face, when they see me wearing these, with jeans. I'm often in suite and tie, otherwise! Zappos...well you know that story...can't beat them for quality, variety and support!

I actually bought these shoes for weight lifting. Do some research, you will see Chuck Taylor All Stars come highly recommended by many sources. They do not have soles with gel or air (for that spongy feeling), you need a solid sole which is what you need for squats or deadlifts, plus they have a nice snug fit around your foot. You do need to order a 1/2 size smaller than your normal shoe size, which Zappos did mentioned for these shoes, so I did just that and they fit perfect! They feel so comfortable and have a timeless classic look that I now wear them as one of my every day shoes. You will not be disappointed with them.

I bought these shoes for my nephew for Christmas. I am from Italy and Converse are really expensive over there. I shopped around a lot but at Zappos I found the best deal and a great service. The shoes were delivered timely even if it was approaching Christmas and when I thought I had ordered the wrong size Ms. Ionie on the phone was excellent. She immediately emailed me a return slip, meanwhile she was about to process the shipment for the right pair of shoes to be delivered the next day since I was going to leave for Italy within the next days and the shoes were a present. You cannot get a better costumer service than this, I find. and she was delightful to speak to and quick to provided me with a solution because I was panicking since I had promised my nephew that I was going to get him those shoes for Christmas. I wear size 17 and through most of my life have had to deal with little to no selection in finding shoes that fit first of all, but also finding shoes that I feel are me. If anyone has ever seen size 17 high top basketball shoes before, they look like something Neil Armstrong would wear on a Apollo mission. That is why I just love the Chuck All-Stars. They are truly timeless shoes with a ton of different colors and styles to choose from. I even wore a pair with my tuxedo to a friends wedding! So from this astronaut to all of you out there get a pair and keep it real! Or at least keep it well refrigerated.
