Love Birki - I have been wearing Birki since 1997, I'm in the medical field so I stand all day and recently I let my friends talk me into buying a new pair of shoes because they don't like the way birki looks. So I ordered a pair of clogs and was very unhappy after a day, so I ordered another brand of clogs and they were very uncomfortable so I decided to go back to what works for me, Birkis. I am on my fouth pair after 6 years and I'm not going back.

I work in kitchens, and I cannot count the number of shoes I went through until I purchased my Super Birks. I have had mine for close to five years worn everyday I worked, even on my off days, and sadly I must replace them they have cracked on the bottom, but I definately got my money's worth. I did have to replace the insoles a couple of times. The problem of owning an exceptional pair of shoes such as these, is that I got so used to wearing them, my feet and ankles actually became very sensitive to other shoes that were more confined and higher up on my ankle, causing blisters and sore spots. Love my Birks!!!

Love Them! I have owned my clogs for over 3 years now. I love them. They are my favorite shoes to wear during the wet fall/winter months. They go with my simple wardrobe of jeans, sweats and legging. They are the most comfortable shoes I own (besides all my other Birkenstocks). I love to be barefoot and these shoes do the trick when it is cold and I have to protect my feet.

The ultimate shoe for comfort and convenience! I have the kind of feet that never feel even remotely comfortable in any shoes (narrow heel, abnormal arch, etc.). When I got these shoes, I found that, like all Birks, the footbed molds to your foot, and gives you a perfect fit. I love how mine look (bright red!) but I rated them at 2 because so many people ask me if they are clown shoes, which might bother some people. I work on my feet all week long, and since I've started wearing them to work, I've had none of the aches associated with long days on my feet. Plus, they are so easy to slip on and off! Birkenstocks have a money-back guarantee, wear ‘em for a month and send them back if you don't like them, so give them a try!

The fit is good. I switched to a different footbed that can stand getting cleaned.

Shoe size was correct. However, the toe box was way too wide for me. I’ve always been medium width, and although marked medium on shoe & box, it was too wide for me. The box also identifies narrow toe width available but none spotted on website.

Very much liked the shoe however the width from top to bottom is too large. The shoe slips off too easily making it hard to go up stairs and walk quickly. The shoe would be good for a standing job but not one that involves a lot of walking.

Pretty happy with these, but I will order a size down next time. These ones will work with really thick socks, but are really loose with ordinary ones. Should’ve tried to find a pair to try on first.

I ended up ordering a size down in the Profi Birki style from the Birkenstock website, since they didn’t have my size in these. According to the measurements, I needed a 41 (I wear a 10). Well, the 41 was HUGE. But also, these have a weird ridge around the foot bed that hit my toes, even though they were too big. I saw other reviews mention that ridge but it’s around the edge of the insole, not the usual toe support ridge that Birkenstock is known for. Anyway, got my profi-birkis in a 40 and they fit perfectly. The heel comes up just a bit higher to help keep them on my foot. I think I’m going to love them.

I like these shoes. Unfortunately, they were about a half size too small. I'm sure the next size up will be perfect. They're not fun, they're not pretty, but they do the trick for people who spend a lot of time on their feet.

I bought these Birks to wear in my kindergarten classroom, and they do a great job supporting me while I stand and walk around most of the day! They are kind of ugly, but I don't care. I really like that I can sanitize these if a child gets sick or I walk through a mess in the cafeteria on accident; I also have the option to replace the cork sole when that's worn out. I wear little wool no-show socks by Darn Tough when it's warm out and regular socks when it's cooler; they are very uncomfortable if worn without socks. Overall, I am very please with this purchase and two months of regular wear!

If you are addicted to Birkenstocks (like my husband is) and need closed toe shoes for work (like in a hospital or kitchen) then these are the shoe for you!

I bought these shoes as gardening shoes. They work great for that, and I loved them when we were tent camping, so easy to slip on and off. I've had plantar fasciitis and the arch support is quite good in them. Couple things: they are warm (don't breathe) as others have said. I bought and have only used them during the height of summer, and I don't have particularly warm feet but they can get quite toasty. They're also quite roomy. I have thin feet – not narrow – and these fit large around my bare feet. Socks help. The length is true to EU sizing (I wear 9.5, a Birkenstock 40). Lastly, I haven't done much heavy garden work in them: standing on shovels, pushing tillers, etc, and I'm still a bit nervous about how heavy-duty they are. The plastic seems strong and thick, but I feel a wrongly placed metal edge may cut right through them.

Holy sweatiness... While I like these clogs greatly, they make my feet sweat profusely. The smell is unbearable, so if you work in close quarters beware! I eventually drilled some holes along the sides, but it had little effect. I finally chucked them in the autoclave remembering that autoclaving was okay. They melted. Now I'm debating whether or not I should purchase another pair.

These have become my go-to garden shoes for spring and fall, secure on my feet and they don't slip in the wet and muck although my feet get sweaty in hot weather. They fit a bit tight over the instep with socks but have plenty of toe room for my extra wide feet. I got the dark blue and they scuffed up fairly quickly but no big deal for garden shoes. These are expensive! But should last a long time. I might try the plain Birki clogs without the inserts when these wear out, that is, about 10 years from now.

These shoes are not as cushiony as my Crocs, but they gave me better back support. I found that switching between Crocs one day and Birkis the next was a good blend. My lower back felt much better after a day on my feet with the Birkis, but my toes felt better with Crocs.

These shoes are great. This is the second pair I've owned. The first finally wore out after 10+ years of service in my garden. Washable, comfortable, all of the great support that Birkenstock offers. Highly recommended.

I was skeptical of Birki clogs because they felt too stiff and roomy at first, but after one full day on the quarry tile floors at work (I\'m a chef), I was sold. My lower back feels significantly better and my feet aren\'t sore at night! I would still say they\'re quite wide, and the arch support is moderate.

Super-Birkis are an excellent alternative to Birki-Pros. I really like the extra support of the cork based footbed in the Supers as opposed to the thinner plastic based one in the Pros. The only negative thing I can say is that the Supers are not made for wide feet. I found that ordering the Supers one size larger than what I had in Pros worked well, though they require extra \'break-in\' time for the footbed to get comfortable.

This is the 3rd pair of Super-Birki’s I've purchased. The footbeds usually last me 1 year, whereas the outsole varies by use and my diligence in cleaning them every night. In a heavy kitchen environment (live fire, wood splitter, heavy lifting) the outsoles last a year, and I stretched their lifetime out by taping the inside with duct tape to reinforce the spots that were cracking. For light use (deli, pizza, coffee shop) the outsoles last substantially longer-3-5 years. I prefer these to leather clogs because they wash in the dishwasher, and they'll take a Sani-Safe knife without cutting. If I dropped my Damascus steel blade on them it would probably go right through though! I wear a 10.5 4E and this clog fits. It's not perfect, but definitely better than your typical medium width shoe.

These feel more stable and supportive than regular Birks. I have plantar fasciitis and I usually can only wear Dansko (and preferably the high-arched professional stapled clog) if I\'m not wearing shoes with orthotic arch support inserts. I decided to try these because I want something lighter than my Danskos and better for mucking about in the yard. These are great. Regular Birks don\'t fully control my over-pronation, but these seem to.\r\n\r\nThe only reason I didn\'t give it 5 stars for comfort is that you simply cannot run in these, not even for a few steps. I had to dash after my toddler, and it hurt something on top of my foot, quite a bit. I may end up using these as house slippers and stick with lace-up running shoes for outside with the kids.

Perfect if you had foot surgery so your foot slips right on easily. It's roomy on top and wide enough for swollen feet. After my foot healed, it's very roomy so it goes on loose but if your feet swell on hot days then it would be fine to wear these shoes too! I think these shoes would be great for those with wide feet. The inner sole comes out if you want to wash and dry out. One drawback, it can be a bit stiff and heavier than wearing Crocs.
