I'm a cook and this is my second pair of Super-Birkis. One of the chefs in culinary school told me about his clogs (as he called them) that were able to withstand very hot water for cleaning and that were very comfortable. I mentioned them to my mom and she found my first pair (from Zappos). Our chef was impressed and eventually got some for himself. When my first pair had had it, I knew it was time for another trip to Zappos! I got my second pair in blue just for a change and our sou chef was yet again impressed, they do look sharp. Obviously. these are comfortable or I wouldn't have gotten another pair. We're on our feet all the time (no sitting while on shift)and the old legs can get pretty tired. I, also, really like how clean the shoes can be kept. My first two pairs of cooking shoes were leather and they just couldn't stand up to the constant exposure of food, water and cleaners (bleach). They got pretty smelly, too. On the outside, I mean. My mom wouldn't let them in the house because they were so stinky and the dog went nuts! These,however, are great!!

I was delighted to find Birkenstock's that actually fit. I spend a lot of time in my back yard and the Super-Birki does not mind a little water or mud. It washes right off. I appreciate the comfort it gives by feet without ruining a pair of Birkenstocks.

The most comfortable shoe!
This is my second pair. My first purchase was in 1999, I have walked all of Walt Disney World many times without the usual aches and pains that you have with normal shoes. These shoes have been through 5 years of hard walking. I even wore them when I had to cover a story after a tornado had destroyed a town. Everyone else was soaked and they were struggling with debris. These shoes were the envy of many.

A good shoe.
For people whose first three toes are the same length, I would recommend a larger size. These are (as are any birkies)very comfortable. I have a heel spur and can wear these for eight hours at work, and still walk the next day. They are wider than most shoes. The arches are average in height.

I am on my feet for more then eight hours a day at work. I can't think of any shoes that has given me better comfort then the Super-Birki. After a long day cooking at work, my feet and legs don't ache from standing on the hard flooring in the kitchen when I have on my Birki's. They aren't the cutest shoe I own , but they are definitely the most comfortable. I would compare the fit and feel of them to the Birkenstock sandal. This comes from the cork insole being designed like the footbed of the popular sandal. The clogs stay on my feet, I never worry about slipping or walking out of them as I have with other kitchen clogs I have tried. They sit low to the ground so there is relatively no danger of 'rolling' your ankle. The soles are 95% slip/skid resistant as well. Overall, a great kitchen clog.

Loving these shoes!
I'm a market gardener, in and out of greenhouses and gardens and on my feet all day. In just a couple of weeks, I've worn these standing for hours in the greenhouse while starting seeds, standing on cement at our booth at a Flower Show, and pruning raspberries. I love them my legs and back do not hurt since I started wearing Birkies. I have severe arthritis in my knees and any style of Birkie makes all the difference. They don't fit.
I'm a nurse and have worn size 39 Birks for 10 yrs, and I'm puzzled that these feel TIGHT. I don't believe my feet are any bigger. I guess I have to go to the next size.

So far so good. I needed a shoe for working in a restaraunt kitchen. I would have preferred the Professional Birki, however it is not made large enough for my size. I tried this one in the largest size made and it is working.

I have every thing imagineable wrong with my feet and ankles - sparing you the organ recital, let me just say finding a comfortable AND supportive shoe that doesn't look blecchy is tough! These shoes go with almost everything, custom mold to your feet and make it impossible for my feet to pronate! Word of caution, buy a size smaller than your usual Birkenstock size, they run large.

These shoes rock!
This is my first pair of clogs. My feet hurt the second day after wearing these, as if I had walked miles in them. Then, they felt great, like they weren't even there. I wear them everyday, around the house like cozy slippers, and outside, no matter what the weather. The tread is just rough enough to keep you from sliding around on a slick surface, but not so deep that you bring the mud inside. Also, they look great. I LOVE THESE SHOES.

I have been wearing Birki since 1997, I'm in the medical field so I stand all day and recently I let my friends talk me into buying a new pair of shoes because they don't like the way birki looks. So I ordered a pair of clogs and was very unhappy after a day, so I ordered another brand of clogs and they were very uncomfortable so I decided to go back to what works for me, Birkis. I am on my fouth pair after 6 years and I'm not going back.

I work in kitchens, and I cannot count the number of shoes I went through until I purchased my Super Birks. I have had mine for close to five years worn everyday I worked, even on my off days, and sadly I must replace them they have cracked on the bottom, but I definately got my money's worth. I did have to replace the insoles a couple of times. The problem of owning an exceptional pair of shoes such as these, is that I got so used to wearing them, my feet and ankles actually became very sensitive to other shoes that were more confined and higher up on my ankle, causing blisters and sore spots. Love my Birks!!!

Love Them!
I have owned my clogs for over 3 years now. I love them. They are my favorite shoes to wear during the wet fall/winter months. They go with my simple wardrobe of jeans, sweats and legging. They are the most comfortable shoes I own (besides all my other Birkenstocks). I love to be barefoot and these shoes do the trick when it is cold and I have to protect my feet.

I have the kind of feet that never feel even remotely comfortable in any shoes (narrow heel, abnormal arch, etc.). When I got these shoes, I found that, like all Birks, the footbed molds to your foot, and gives you a perfect fit. I love how mine look (bright red!) but I rated them at 2 because so many people ask me if they are clown shoes, which might bother some people. I work on my feet all week long, and since I've started wearing them to work, I've had none of the aches associated with long days on my feet. Plus, they are so easy to slip on and off!
