Love them! The foot bed is so comfortable! I have Plantar Fascitis and wearing the Birkenstock foot bed is like therapy for my poor heels and arches. I mostly wear them in the house and since I work at home they are wonderful. They aren't super stylish, but they feel great!

Great wet weather shoe - I love the fit, 37R fits my 6.5 WW foot with a medium weight sport sock, and I have a very high instep to boot! Will do well for me on a wet day, and when I'm washing the car!

SO comfy! I have 2 pair of Birki's and wear them ALL the time. My first pair I purchased for work. I no longer have problems with aching feet and legs. I LOVE these shoes!

Great work shoes - This is my second pair of Birkies from Zappos. I have the black and the blue for work. They are comfortable, easy to maintain, and look professional. A great shoe for the price and they wear very well.

Another fine shoe from Birks - I said on my review that they feel "true to size and true to width", but I am going by Birkenstock standards. The shoes are supposed to be wide and have a lot of toe room in order to allow your foot to spread properly. If you are used to wearing department store shoes, this shoe will feel huge! But it's ok. Give it a chance. I wear mine with thick socks, usually, which makes it even more comfy.

Wear them for a couple weeks before you judge them! I've had 2 pairs and thought at first that I should have gotten a different size. I've never had a better shoe for standing on my feet all day, or heavy gardening...but they don't feel great until after you wear them a couple weeks!

Super-Birki, Super-Shoe - I was skeptical about purchasing these shoes...even after hearing the praise my restaurant co-workers sang about how wonderful they are. Well, I tried them on the minute I opened the box. It was two hours later before I realized I still had them on. I worked 57 hours on my feet Memorial weekend on concrete floors. By the end of the weekend, I was a mess, but my feet felt terrific. I'm going to have to invest in more Birki's, because I've discovered I prefer them to any other shoes I own. (I had promised myself they were for only work..ha! that lasted two days.) Three cheers for Birki!

Maximum comfort, different look - I stand on a tile floor all day in a restaurant where you have to wear black shoes. Grease and dirty water splash on them all day. These shoes seem to be stain-proof. I love the way they let air in around your feet, so your feet don't bake inside them (I live in Phoenix). They have a nice, comfortable removable inner cushion. I like them because they don't squeeze my bad toenail. At first, they seem a little wide and look different. I got used to that when I felt how good they feel after all day at work. I really love these shoes. I just slip them on and slip them off (I hate laces). I'm so glad I bought them. The quality is very good and I got my shipping upgraded for no extra charge -not to mention NO TAXES (the very best part!)

Great work shoe - I'm a nurse who works 12 hour shifts, and these shoes are so comfortable I can make it all day without my feet hurting! Unbelievably durable (I'm on my second pair in 8 years) Replacable insoles are convenient.

These were a disappointment as a gardening clog. They have a cork type insole that just does not hold up. My husband has the same trouble with his. I would not recommend or buy these again.

I have several Birkenstock’s. I range from 37-38 in size. These I ordered in 38 and my foot was swimming in them I could hardly walk. Having worn them around my house I decided to return them because I think they will be too hot due to the material used. I decided not to reorder 37.

The Super Birki clog is popular for kitchen staff as its thick rubber protects feet against spills. I love the high and VERY firm arch support of the removable cork footbeds. I have some Born clogs with thick removable foam footbeds that lack arch support. I replaced the Born footbeds with Super Birki footbeds to create the perfect clog: Born's soft leather upper with Super Birki support. The Super Birki footbeds cost only $30 a pair and should last a couple years if you rotate your shoes and avoid wearing them day after day.

I purchased these for my son who is a Sushi Chef. They were the best choice.

Such a cute shoe, and the perfect bright red! If only the toe weren't a little short, I'd wear it more often!

One year on... I am a baker and I was blowing through two or three pairs of crocs a year before I found these puppies. I spend about 50-60 hours a week on poured cement and bad linoleum floors carrying 50 pound bags of flour or dough. While it did take a bit to break in the foot bed I think that they are possibly the best things to have happened to me (workwear wise) since the invention of shorts. Having fewer days with sore feet is a luxury and I appreciate that there is a company like Birki’s that cares about its customers enough to provide a shoe that is this substantial with a replaceable foot bed. The shoes themselves are in great shape and I have only had to replace the foot bed recently. A little hint, the Profi-Birki foot bed fits into this shoe and I have found them to be both more comfortable and more durable than the one that comes with it. Finally, I have to say that being able to toss these into the dishwasher or washing machine to get them sparkling clean is a huge plus. Way to go Zappos for carrying this awesome work shoe.

I wear a 38 in all my Birkenstocks but these shoes, which were 38, were enormous

I liked the fit and feel of these shoes. The problem was that the material doesn't breathe, and so they make your feet sweat, a lot. Also, the style is a bit frumpy and the material is ugly. The Birkenstock footbed is dreamy though.

I've never owned a pair of birkis, and after trying several pair (thanks Zappos!) these still are not 'the ones'. I went with 7 - 7.5, even though I 'always' wear an 8. These clogs were still too large, both in length and width. The arch and toe bar hit in entirely the wrong place on my foot. Hopefully I can find a 'winter' pair that fits!

They were too big and too small. Too wide and too short. My wife liked the way they looked. Not for me.

Nurse here of several years. I have four or five different work shoes and throughout the course of a month I alternate which ones I wear (sort of like muscle confusion helps in the gym). In the distant past I tried Dansko clogs but didn't like them one bit (too rigid like real wood clogs). I do however, wear and think Dansko Wil's are pretty darn comfortable. As well, several years ago, I started using Keens of all styles for work/play and love them. One of the Keen shoes I wear at work are the PTC Slip-Ons. On rare occasions I'll wear Crocs. For various reasons I like to wear at work, non-laced slip-ons and clog style shoes. I've never tried our Birkenstocks before and a few of my work shoes are in need of changing out. The cork footbed is their claim to fame and thought I'd give these Super-Birkis a try. Leather has it's maintenance issues especially in the healthcare field and the plastic based upper sounded like a good idea. So..... despite being a plastic shoe these things weigh quite a bit, are pretty rigid, and they fit very loosely across the top of my foot. Meaning that my foot had a lot of room to move fore & aft which therefore meant my toes kept jamming up against the front of the shoe. There is no way to adjust the fit over the top of your foot to prevent this. I guess one could wear super bulky socks, but I don't want to buy new shoes that also require me to have to hunt for new socks too. Besides, at work I wear compression socks which are much thinner than athletic socks. And about their weight, if I was just standing around all day that may not be an issue, but adding in their poor fitment means they were constantly flopping around and my feet were slipping all over the place inside the shoe uncomfortably while I was walking around my house for a few hours. I couldn't imagine running to a code with them. And about that rigidity, the heal cup edges aren't forgiving in the slightest while your foot is moving all over the place. When you step down that rigid plastic around the heal and also in the toe box is sure to cause some severely uncomfortable sores from all the rubbing and scraping. I'm returning them right now.

Usually wear a 40 but with this insole made them too small. I have an old pair i bought used at estates sale that look slightly different (no insole) so assumed these would be the same but were not. Maybe next size up will work.

ouch - I had hoped the shoe would be good for work but it kills my toes and I cannot tolerate to wear them. Wasted my money. I think because it doesn't come in half sizes, my toes hit the hard front surface and makes raw even with socks on. I would get a size larger but am afraid it would be too big. I probably will not order shoes on line again, but was really amazed how fast the order came. Thanks Sunny

As a nurse with plantar fasciitis I struggled to find a shoe that I could work 12 hrs in comfortably. Here I am ordering my 2nd pair after my first just wore through. These shoes start out extremely stiff and like you’re walking in a cardboard box but I can promise you they’ll eventually be comfortable and cure your feet issues. My plantar fasciitis is basically gone. I wore these throughout an entire pregnancy, working 4-5 12hr shifts/week and they fit my 600lb life swollen feet at the end, too. Highly recommend. And true to size.
