BEST KITCHEN SHOES EVER! I've been a chef for 10 years and have tried a lot of different shoes, and none of them compare to the Super-Birki! Durable, lightweight and non-slip, not to mention extremely comfortable. I can be on my feet for 15 hours in these, and have no problems!

Birkenstock super Birkis are the best - I am a nurse/Rn and am on my feet for 12hour shifts. I love the Super-Birkis. I wore them for several years and then decided to try a different type of clog that I thought looked more fashionable. What a mistake! These are the best shoes. At the end of the day, my feet, legs, back, etc. never hurt. When I was wearing the other brand of clogs, my feet and back were always bothering me at the end of the day. I really don't know what it is about these shoes that provide such support and comfort, but I will never wear any other shoe to work again.

GREAT CLOG! First off…amazing shipping from Zappos. I got the shoes before I got the order tracking number. FREE OVERNIGHT SHIPPING? Amazing. Next I work in a kitchen 12-17 hours a day and standing on hard tile all day really starts to wear down the body. I haven't owned a clog yet that feels so firm and supportive. I think paying the extra money will be worth it in the long run. I had pledged myself to "klogs" for such a long time but they really started to give me issues with my toes. Hopefully this shoe totally resolves all issues. Feels great so far 5 stars.

My wife loves them - Bought them as a gift for my wife after my son got a pair to work in a restaurant all day. She has worn them to work, outside and everywhere since. Loves the fit and comfort. Plus they are Birkenstocks!

Found the sizing to be a little large, especially the width. I wear a 10.5 standard width dress shoe. Sole, particularly the outer portion of the small toe pad, takes some time to wear comfortably. Sole seems firm compared to my Quarks, which these replaced. Style is typical clog. Ugly but functional.

Birki's Super-Birki: Make my feet happy! As a nurse, I stand all day, for 8-10 hour shifts. At the end of the day, I end up with a sore lower back and sore feet. Then, I had pain in my left foot. My podiatrist diagnosed it as Morton's Neuroma. I asked him for the treatment, and he gave me info about insoles and then told me to try Birkenstocks. He said that the Birkenstock footbed provides support to the arch, but also to the front of the foot, and supports the bones that attach to the toes. I tried the insoles, and they helped. I then bought these Birki's, and they helped even more. They are the best work shoes that I have tried in my seventeen years as a nurse. Now, I have two pair: black and blue. I will only buy Birkenstocks from now on, now that I understand why the footbed is made the way it is. I can actually feel the difference right away. Also, I bought a pair locally for MORE than I paid at Zappos. I won't do that again. It'll always be Birkenstock and they will always be from Zappos.

My perfect shoe, fits my lifestyle comfortably! Easy on, easy off, my first requirement. Waterproof, a necessity here in the PacNW, and very comfortable. In my case I got the next size larger to get a comfortable fit. The std width is fine for me.

Not a pretty shoe, but a very comfortable one - I have to be honest this is not the best looking shoe in the world. However, it is one of the most comfortable shoes I've worn. When I first looked at the shoe I contemplated sending it back. I had a choice between this shoe and the Crocs Professional. I choose the Birki because it looked sturdier. Not only was it sturdier but also a heck if a lot more comfortable than the Crocs. I'm very happy with the choice I made. I would definitely buy it again.

Birkis are great for work - I am a nurse who works up to 12 hours a day. These shoes are great... they are comfy and easy to clean. So happy with Zappos. My small shoe size was available and my shoes were delivered super fast. Thanks so much!

Get Some Today - The Super-Birki is the ultimate kitchen shoe. Anybody who works in a restaurant needs to have them. They are light-weight, slip resistant and as comfortable as any non-work shoe I've ever worn. Some think they are too expensive, but when you are still wearing your Super-Birki's three years from now, and people have run through multiple pairs of cheap kitchen shoes, you will realize the value of your investment and join the strange, loyal, Birkenstock movement.

Super Colorado footwear - Incredible fit, my guy loves them. Slip em on for the trash; wear them while working in the restaurant, slimmer than the older model (5 years ago) with a new age insole. Love the earth friendly, no leather, no frills...all function. Nice shoe. Really.

Birk - Always wear Birk's 365 a year. Great quality just a little bit smaller than the others I have purchased. I guess because it is not leather and it will not give.

My doctor recommended these for constant foot and heel pain. They are the best! I work in foodservice and have worn these for the last 5 years, and am ordering my second pair. Five years for under $100 not bad. They are a lifesaver for my feet, back and legs. I have tried other shoes but always end up in these.

Covered in flour and still comfortable - I am a baker in market that is housed in a warehouse-like building with a poured concrete floor. I have to say that after the Crocs I wore for the first few months these shoes were really, really hard (kind of like walking on poured concrete). After a few days of breaking in the shoes started to mold to my feet and I have to say, I haven't thought about the shoes or my feet since then. If you have the time to break them in they are worth the price. My one suggestion is to order them one size larger than the size chart says to (I'm a size 13 U.S. and I got a size 47).

You’re the best! Zappos gives you free shipping and you ALWAYS get them the next day, I ordered after 9 pm and they were there when I got home from work the next day. I am a nurse, these shoes killed my feet for about 2 days, now I can wear them forever and my feet don't hurt.

I can't believe how many people like these - I wore these for my 12 hour shift at the hospital and it was awful. The floor is comfier than these shoes. My feet actually swelled up and the next day I could barely fit these into my well-worn casual clogs. So painful. My feet felt bruised. To put the truth out there, the insole is a piece of cardboard with a foot imprint on it. Not my idea of support. That is how the shoe is constructed: plastic shell + cardboard insert. Now you can decide if you want to buy these fully informed.

Great, but needed more padding - I wear occupational clogs everyday and have tried nearly every brand. I am on my feet at least 10-20+ hours/day. I thought the overall fit was good, easy to clean, etc, I just put some nice soft arch supports in and that made all of the difference in the world. Now they are perfect.

Takes a bit to get used to, but you won't regret it... I was expecting a softer footbed, but they are great shoes. I am a nurse and work the night shift and these do the job. The outer portion of the shoe wipes clean and can be cleaned to 140 degrees, which is great. Overall, this is a good shoe. It takes some time to get used to the footbed, but after, it is pretty heavenly.

Good Shoes, Minor Problems - I’m on my feet 12-14 hour days and had constant back pain. After I got these shoes my back pain went away. Great shoes, took me about 3-4 days to break them in, which by the way made my feet hurt really bad for those days. I also cut out the cork part where my pinkie toe, and the two toes next to the pinkie out. The tips of just those three toes would touch just barely and it felt like those toes were being jammed in the front of the shoes. After those days and cutting out the cork the shoes feel great.

The Best - I am on my feet 14 to 16 hours a day and these shoe's really hit the spot, they are the best pair of "Non-Slip" shoes I have owned. I also run food to tables and I have to go up and down steps to get around the restaurant and these shoe's or even comfortable in that sense. So overall they rock!!!

Like standing on stone - Cork innersole is so hard it increased my back pain. Tried cushioning innersole helped a little, not enough negative heel.

Good. The first couple of days were hell, because I was so used to a pair of worn down tennis shoes. I am a cook, and work long days (anywhere from 8-15 hours). These, after about a week have been heaven. I do find myself wearing a slightly thinner sock, and have had more comfort with that. Where the top of the clog rubs against my foot (about 2/3rds of the way to my ankle from my toes) I have some red marks from the end of the clog rubbing my foot. Not sure if anyone else had this issue. Overall, they are great, and maybe I just have tall feet (which I have never noticed before, but I'm not one to rule anything out). Would recommend for anyone working in a kitchen, and I tell all my co-workers that these are the way to go.

Awesome work shoes - These shoes fit to perfection. The only complaint I would have is that the cork insert does curl up at the end of the toes and when moving around in a fast pace setting toes do sometimes end up rubbing against the inserts bump. I work in coffee and the shoes are amazing, no more stained damaged shoes, just take out the inserts and run them under the sink. They end up looking brand new.

Birki's Super-Birki - First, I can't say enough about Zappos great service. I ordered these shoes at about 5:30pm and they were at my door by 9am the next morning. I am nurse working 12 hour shifts- most of which is standing/running around, and these shoes are the only ones I have tried thus far that don't leave me with aching feet at the end of my shift. They would be perfect if they were a little more breathable. I find them to be a little goofy looking, but comfort beats style any day!
