I work in a restaurant 60 hours/week, and am on my feet non-stop on concrete floors. I've tried other kitchen shoes. Some were terrible (SFC), some are pretty good (Keen), but the Super Birki's are the best I've worn. My feel used to ache horribly, but the Birki's stopped that. This being my 2nd pair, I will say I was a little disappointed by the longevity of my first pair. I wore a hole through the footbed in 8 months. I really put my shoes through ringer, but still I was hoping for a little longer. Still, I have to have my Birk's, so I ordered another pair anyway (replacement footbed is an option, but I had a hard time finding them on Zappos or Amazon). Also, Super Birki's are fantastic, but still not quite as comfortable as my Boston's. I haven't gone there yet, but I have considered just wearing the Boston's for work and accepting that they'll be trashed every few months from all the water/spills. Anyway, just some things to consider, but the Super Birki's are a fantastic kitchen shoe and, at this point, I wouldn't even consider anything else (outside of another Birkentstock product).

I WAS SO PLEASED TO LEARN I COULD SHOP AT ZAPPO'S OVER THE PHONE. I DON'T SHOP ON LINE, SO CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ORDERED MY NEW BIRKIES AND A PAIR OF SLIPPERS. YAY FOR ZAPPOS! WALKING AROUND IN THOSE SLIPPERS THIS MOMENT AND I'M SO PLEASED. THX ZAPPO!

These Birkis run large! I'm an 8.5-9. It took 3 tries to get the right size. Most reviews stated "runs small" size 38 is perfect. And yes, the plantar fasciitis is non existent while wearing these. I'm a nurse. On my feet about 12 hours a day.

I bought this clog to bring my dogs out in the early morning when the grass is wet, but sadly they are huge on me. I take a 5.5/6 but I could not even walk in these. They seem to run very big.

I normally wear a 7.5 and ordered the 38. It was about a half size too large. Exchanging for at 37 which I am hoping is a better fit.

I purchased a pair of SuperBirki clogs for work, I'm a R.N. I found them to be so incredibly comfortable that I purchased another pair for every day use. I would not replace them with anything I once used, ie sneakers/top-siders, for casual wear. I know they look clunky & people probably mistake them for Crocs but my feet always say "thank you." Money very well spent. Oh yea, these things wear like iron while feeling like cotton.

I love this Birki. Owned a Beauty Shop for 32 years & I wore this shoe daily. Fit me to a T. Still wear it daily around the house. The arch is perfect for me. I take the insole out to clean them & can clean the insole with a brush & they dry quickly. I even have several insoles to interchange. Love this Birki!

Best, most durable light duty gardening shoes ever! Easily slipped on & off for running in & out of the house. A lot of dirt will get into them with serious digging, but otherwise indispensable!

This is my 4th pair of Birks in 15 years. I still have all 4 pair and still wear them all. They last forever! Most comfortable shoes ever.

I have had my Super Birki's for years & had plenty of wear left in them. Alas, they were getting tight in the toes. I had to buy larger sizes. Donated the old ones after shining them with a furniture polish cloth.

I am on my feet all day at work. I have worn every shoe out there. These are the best. I don't know why I waited so long to buy these.

My 2nd pair of Birkies, love them! Use them for mucking around the barn. Don't have to worry about mud on the shoes. I get them plenty big so I can wear thick socks.

I have been a Chef for years and these clogs are wonderful for a person that are on their feet 14 hours a day. Thank you Zappos as they had them here fast!

I was surprised by the comfort. I have a wide foot so ordered a regular width and their is plenty of room in the toe box area.

These are the best shoes ever made. I have worn the same pair every day for 3 years working 10 hour shifts in restaurants five days a week on average. They finally have a hole in them. The non slip treading has held up pretty well and the support is incredible. These are bottom line the best shoes for chefs and will be a loyal customer of this shoe for the remainder of my career.

OK, Since I am ordering another pair, I guess it is time for a review. I live most of the year in Central Mexico; these are the only shoe which mesquite, huizache and cardon spikes will not penetrate. If it is rainy season, and they get covered in mud and tepatate, they can be scrubbed off. Stable, in dry thorns or wet clay, great for my wide feet, miniscus knees and ex dancing feet. Cinco estrellas all the way!

Bought them to wear for gardening. As always, Birkenstock are great support but wish they came in narrow width.

Great nursing shoe! Easy to clean and supportive for long days on your feet. Like all Birks, these take a couple of days to break in the cork for ultimate comfort.

Great shoe for hospital worker. I have small bunions, high arches, high instep, and require a wide width. These shoes fit great and do not leave my legs achy after a long day of walking through the hospital. And they are easy to clean with sani-wipes! Only down side is sweaty, stinky feet as there is zero ventilation.

I rec'd these shoes today and was so excited to get them. I love them except they are so, so wide. I am sad to return them, but they do not come, I'm told, in a normal or narrow width. I always wear a medium, but these are so wide, I walk right out them. Disappointed.

I had a pair of these for so long the sole is wore off. (but will have them repaired.) Had to have another pair. I think they are slightly ugly but I adore the comfort. My feet never hurt and they are so soothing.

I love them! They are super comfortable! They run true to size. It can get hot if you wear them for long hours when you are on your feet.

First of all, Zappos has really fast shipping. But these shoes are pretty awesome too. I have plantar fasciitis and work in the medical field. Standing long periods of time on concrete is excruciating two hours into my work day. I have tried insoles and different types of shoes. I have never worn Birkenstocks before. I was desperate and finally ordered these. Not having experience with Birks I wore them all day the day after I got them. Ouch! I thought I had made a huge mistake until I found out that my feet need to gradually get used to them. I wore them at home for a few days then tried again at work the next week. I rarely take these off, they are so comfortable for my feet! I love them, ordered more Birkenstocks from this site for off of work wear and am very happy with them, too. Make sure you order the Birks with the footbed included some sites do not have them, just the shell. I highly recommend these shoes for anyone! Just break them in first! Also, I found my size by going to a Birkenstock dealer locally, but their prices were much more than online.

This will be the second pair I've got from Zappos. Im more than happy. On your feet in the kitchen for 10 hours. I do buy new insoles that i put on top of the original.
