Best shoes for my feet issues

Purchased as a gift and she loved them. Better foot support than tennis shoes working long hours as a nurse.

I bought these because I need a washable clog to wear in hotels and hospitals. I tried both the Super Birkis (which this review is for) and the Professional Birkis. The main difference is the back of the shoe. The Super Birkis have a low back, much like a classic clog. The Professional Birkis' back comes up higher on the heel. Also, the general form of the Super seems a bit less "clunky" than the Professional, and the Super has a cork composite insole whereas the Professional's insole is all PU. Both Birkis are comfortable, roomy but stable, feel safe and easy to walk in, and have the typical Birkenstock shape. I decided to keep these Super Birkis because they are so easy to slip on and off quickly, plus I prefer the cork sole. These Birkis felt roomy and "loose" at first. But after walking around in them a bit, it became clear that they are totally stable, and stay on my feet without any effort. For me, they are a great alternative to Sanitas (which I wore for years until they were outsourced and the new models became extremely narrow and tight). These Birkis are made in Germany, which is where Birkenstock is based, so that gives me confidence in their manufacturing and quality control.

I had a little trouble finding the correct size. But the last agent I spoke with was wonderful and my Birkis fit perfectly. They are so comfortable. I have a pair for gardening and another for work. These are the best.

When I first wore them they felt slippery and I felt I wasn’t getting a grip inside the shoe. But after wearing them for a few days they felt like they had been custom made for my feet. Very comfortable. Can stand for long periods of time.

They do feel a bit wide, but the arch support is fantastic, and they are so comfortable.Very happy with them.

Perfect yard/garden or around town or neighborhood to run errands or walk dog. Love them would buy another pair.

Birkenstock Super Birkis have been a godsend for long days on my feet. Whether standing in an operating room or running around the ICUs, the Super Birki is always up to the task. I wear a pair at home, as well. If you need a professional-looking clog and you like the Birkenstock footbed, you cannot go wrong with the Super Birki.

I have been wearing birkis for 20 years. Great comfort and able to wash . They take a beating doing yard work. You should give them a try, they won’t disappoint.

Fit was true to size and very comfortable. Time frame of delivery was exact to the date. So with the pandemic still going on that was a plus.

Bought for my mom who has been wearing hand me down gardening clogs that were 3 sizes too big. Lucky to find Birkenstock’s in a 35. Based on earlier reviews was worried would be too small but they were true to size of her Birkenstock thong sandals.

Rear clog.

These are super comfortable. I work in a hospital and on my feet most of the day - I go home in the evening without foot pain now. Great that I can wash these, even in the dishwasher. Ordered the incorrect size initially - they do run a bit large compared to the sizing of sandals - but Zappos exchanged these within days, amazingly fast. Thank you!!

I ordered size 36 (US Women's 5-5.5). The fit was true to size. I usually wear a women’s size 5 or kids size 2 to 3 depending on the style. I love slip on shoes when I can find them in my size. These seem roomier than my crocs and at first, felt too big. After wearing them for a couple of weeks now, I can say that these are my new “go to” house shoes. They can get wet and wipe clean easily. The insoles are removable and can be replaced when needed. My orthotics fit well in the shoe and my feet feel comfortable. The Birkenstocks look well made and durable. The dark blue color goes well with jeans. If you are not familiar with croc style slip ons, this shoe may take getting used to. For me, this turned out to be a great buy.

I usually wear a 6.5-7 and after reading some reviews stating that these ran small I initially ordered the 7/7.5 and they were HUGE. I reordered the 6/6.5 and they fit much better. I still have a little extra room but I definitely think the 5/5.5 would be too small. They’re not cute but they’re super comfortable! I am a nurse and need something supportive and comfy for my 12 hour shifts and am hoping these will do the trick.

Wonderful for tired, sore feet. Bought these to help me get through pregnancy- I had a rough time with my first and this time around I am prioritizing comfort and support over aesthetics. The material is rather firm, but I am hoping they soften a little with time. They're not breathable, so expect sweaty feet, but the removable insoles should allow regular cleaning to prevent too much funk from building up. I've only had them for a few weeks, but so far, I love them!
