I was surprised that the insole did not go to the toe.

These boots can be used in any mode as a dress or casual wear

Wish I could could get the Duke in a tan.

When the sole wears out I get it replaced and these boots last for years as long as you shine them periodically.

I have two pair of vintage Florsheim Kenmore 1992 etc and they soooooi comfortable my dukes totally Rock they are factory secondsi in grey I'm 60 years of age and feeling like 25 years again but very stylish my aunt my wife is 20 younger than me and she loves them I love them I know what a good shoe should feel like and these are them thank you for shine for making a super product you guys rock great works with everything chance get a pair of gray something peace and love a big time fan of Florsheim

This is the third pair that I own. I still have my first pair.

I bought a used pair of 70s Florsheim designer cowboy-style ankle boots from Poshmark. The old leather on those cracked (no fault of craftmanship, just something that happens to shoes that sit around for decades). Though not western, these boots have the same 1.75-inch heal and profile so I thought they'd substitute well. These shoes are impressively crafted, especially at this price point (could be between 3-400). The kidskin leather is patent or maybe nearly patent, so these are super shiny and very disco. Once you get used the heal (which is one of the highest in men's shoes) they are super comfortable and have a soft inner sock. With a fully leather sole, it's really a good value. Hopefully these selling out means they bring back more of the designer series models.

Very hardy boot! Love it! Got rid of all my other dress shoes. All my dress shoes are now the Dukes. Black, Cognac, Grey, White. Mahalo!

Great quality comfortable boot exactly as pictured

I was a bit hesitant about getting these but I went ahead and bought them. I have to say I have never been more in love with a pair of boots!!!! These are incredibly well made and extremely comfortable once broken in. Definitely going to buy more, maybe brown next time :)

I've had Florsheim "dress boots" years ago, and have found these to be just as good as ever. I plan to use the Duke dress boots for "going out" on the town; dinners, movies, dancing. :)
