Rockport's RWT Classic a solid shoe with good looks - I have never been able to wear Rockports because I've never been able to get them wide enought. Zappos had them and they fit perfect. They look great with a pebbled surface leather that takes a shine well. The platform of the shoe is broad and stable which is exactly what I was looking for. The insert did not provide much cushion especially in the ball of the foot. I didn't care as I was replacing it with orthotics that fit perfectly in the shoe. This is a very nice, somewhat dressy shoe that I wear with professional attire.

Rockports are still good! First off, Zappos shipping is fantastic. Ordered Sunday night, on my doorstep Tuesday morning! Great. Having worn Rockports for 24 years, I believe I am a pretty good judge of the shoes. I have only used the RWT Classic model as they were originally recommended to me for use with prescribed orthotics. They have held up very well over the years with daily rotation of a couple of pairs. They used to be even better when made in Spain and other European countries, but alas like everything they now are made in China. I was skeptical but have found the quality control to be good and so far the last three pair are holding up just fine.

Rockport Classic - Attractive appearance and good fit. Roomy enough for diabetic insole. Shoelaces could have been longer. Would purchase again.

Rockport RWT delivers comfort out of box - I recently decided to buy extra wide shoes to accomodate my foot widening with age. I was already a Rockport fan of Dressports. These Rockport RWT shoes delivered the proper width and comfort right out of the box. The shiny brown finish will go with my better dress casual clothes. After days of wear, I am still pleased.

They felt stiff and not very comfortable. My heel was also sleeping out. I was expecting more cushion.

My husband's favorite shoes were discontinued, so he tried different shoes/brands of which these were one. He said the insole didn't have enough padding and the shoes were not that comfortable. They also made his feet look oddly small. He liked the Nunn Bush Cameron much better.

I almost always fit into a 12 - medium perfectly. These shoes were SOOO narrow. I couldn't squeeze into them. It was so tight I even checked the shoe to see if maybe a narrow was shipped by mistake. they are labeled a medium, they are just very narrow. Also, they look a little less stylish, more clunky than pictured on the web page.

I was wearing a comfortable pair of 12M Rockport walking shoes when I placed the order for these 12M Rockport walking shoes plus two addition pairs of Rockport walking shoes. All three pairs of the new shoes were labeled 12M but I could barely get them on. All three pairs were from a 1/2 to a full size too small and the width too tight. I liked the style of all three pairs but all three were stiffer than Rockports used to be but had they fit I would have been kept them. I do give Zappos an A plus for customer service and ease of returns. I will certainly order from them again.

I have worn a size 10 WTC for years (decades?). I found the 10 getting snug so I ordered 10.5 and an 11 just to be safe. AMAZINGLY, the 10.5 was noticeably smaller than my current 10. Luckily the 11 was really a 10.5 and fit. One last note, PLEASE Rockport, spend another penny or two and source this shoe with longer laces. I moved my 6' longer laces on my old WTC 10s to this new shoe. The current laces can barely be tied.

I have worn this Rockport shoe style for work, and leisure. The reason for 3-stars is the shoe's sole starts to separate from the leather upper within a year. On the average I replace a pair of Rockports every year, now that I am retired I may get more wear from a pair but I think the real problem is quality (lack of) and quality-control. I purchased 2 more pairs recently, if these don't last a year or better, I will stop buying Rockports.

It is no longer the same quality as before. A long time ago I bought the same ones with better interior material. Now they are tiring because their sole is hard and very thin.

I currently have Rockports that I purchased a few years ago and still wear. They are 13 M and fit fine. I ordered these online as 13M and I can barely get get my door into them. Better need for consistent sizing.

The shoe is good looking, comfortable, lightweight, and the fit is true to size. The insoles are easily removeable for those looking to replace them with similar width orthotic inserts. The ample curve on the heel works well for me because of a bone spur on the back of one of my heals. My only gripe is that one of the shoelaces was already unravelling brand-new out of the box. 5 star shoes minus 2 for the lousy laces.

Love the shoe style and ruggedness. I only wish it came in the 'sand' color in my big size. That's why I returned 1 of the 2 pairs. The picture in the ad looks much lighter than the shoe color that came.

Very rugged looking walking shoe. 4X was a bit tight, felt like a size narrower. Outer covering on shoelace broke after two weeks of use, wow!

I have been wearing Rockport boat shoes for years and been very satisfied with the style, comfort and sizing. So when I needed a shoe like the World Tour Classic, I did not hesitate to order a size 14M. However, I had to return them because they did not fit. How? I could squeeze my medium width foot in the shoe but the top of the shoe pressed down so hard on the top of my foot, I could not wear them. The length was perfect. The width felt like it would have been OK but because the top of my foot was pressed down on, I could not be sure about the width. I do not consider the problem with the fit of this shoe to be either length or width, but rather that the shoe was simply too tight, not enough room for my foot and I did not believe that it would ever stretch enough for me to wear, so I returned them and bought a similar pair in a different brand.

Sole is hard as a rock! Feels as if I am walking with plywood soles with no give or cushion. Would not recommend this shoe to anyone doing any amount of walking.

Had two pairs of this style in the past that were the wide width. Loved them. The new model does not really give the added width that I would expect with the extra wide that I ordered. If you want a wider toe box I would advise against this shoe. When I tried them on at home I guess I was wearing a lighter weight sock because they felt comfortable. Switching to a mid weight sock(theses are called walking shoes after all) I found them to be too snug. Maybe they will loosen up but would not purchase if you are looking for a wider more comfortable toebox. Especially not for travel.

They are too tight. The issue is they really aren't 4E as indicated. I would estimate they are really D or maybe 1E. Rockport must have changed their standards because I've been wearing their wide shoes for decades without problems. I suspect the company got sold and is now under different management - probably thin-footed foreigners. I am keeping this pair in agony because I don't have any other presentable shoes at this point. Hoping they will stretch out a bit. This is probably my last pair of Rockports. I've been wearing them since the late 1970's.
