These are great shoes; the one major problem with these shoes are that the shoe laces are a major feature/look of the shoe but the laces are made to not last long and the company refuses to sell you replacement shoe laces of the exact type. I have contacted Zappos and Rockport headquarters and they suggest other brands of laces but simply tell you they "cannot" supply the same laces as the original that come from the manufacturer. This is known as "planned obsolescence"; which is a proven method of getting customers to buy a new shoe as oppose to simply buying replacement laces.

I have had these shoes now for six months, and I am extremely happy with the purchase. They are incredibly comfortable - I can even run in them without a problem. Arch support originally was a problem, but a good pair of inserts fixed that. They are stylish enough to wear to work as business shoes. The only issue that I have noted is that the foam on the rear of the shoe can eat away over time.

A little tougher break in than other Rockport shoes i've owned but once broken in they were very comfortable for what I use them for. Stylish enough to wear at the office but casual enough for other occasions. Seemed like they were maybe a little big for the size I ordered but not bad.

Not the same as past walking shoes! I love Rockports. I was hoping to buy a pair of a style I have worn through two times in the past 5 years. They discontinued that model and I found that the same size pinches in at the big toe and is too low in the toe box. I wear 12 D, but a larger size would not work. I imagine they changed lasts. It appears to be the same well-made shoe, but not for my foot.

These are the only shoes that my husband wears to work. He has a lot of foot/ankle problems. He says these are comfortable and wear like they are already broken in.

I have a problem with my feet and these are the only shoes I can wear for an extended period of time. The longer they are worn, the more comfortable they are. Zappos always gives great service, but this time the shipping a little longer than usual.

Shoes fit well, are not as comfortable as expected but did fit my feet. I added insert which helped the comfort of shoes. These shoes run a little larger than size listed.

They looked like what I ordered and they fit. Not much else to say about a pair of shoes. Arrived on time.

If you're looking for a sneaker disguised as a casual dress shoe....This does not quite cut it. I read the other reviews and they seemed contradictory in terms of cushioning. So people felt like they were walking on concrete, others felt like they were walking on air. For me, the shoe proved fairly comfortably and well cushioned, but not as soft as a good sneaker type walking shoe. Having said that, I took them on a 2 week vacation right out of the box that involved a lot of walking (4-8 miles around cities almost everyday). These shoes were very comfortable, held up well (they don't scuff easilY) and the soles showed little wear. Further, the uppers are pretty soft yet supportive, and didn't cut into my feet with the exception of the top of one toe. Overall, a great shoe if you need something slightly more formal than a sneaker and are going to do some walking, but don't expect to feel like you're walking on air. Good luck!

Zappos people are tops. I ordered and the sales representative said he could arrange overnight shipping at no extra charge. Shoes were delivered next day around noon. Awesome.
