This is a very good shoe. The leather is high quality and looks great. My only complaint is the insole seems a bit thin through the ball of the foot.

They are somewhat stiff comfort wise. I've read earlier models were more comfortable. They don't really ever break in. Rather, you just get used to them. I'm guessing the rubber sole they use now isn't as pliable as in years past. Still...the color and style really appeals to me. After 10 months wearing them, my feet have gotten used to the stiff feel. I bought these for the style and color, which I can't find from any other shoe company. If you wear a size 9.5 sneaker, order these a full size smaller.

I have always worn a 9.5 and since most shoes are only offered in M or W (no N), it's been 9.5M. I received some information about "determining your size" from an online advisor at Rockport and measured my foot and found that a 10N might be a better fit than the 9.5N I ordered from Zappos and subsequently returned for snugness. I have since ordered (through Amazon because that size was apparently not available right then at Zappos) and received a 10N in the chocolate nubuck, and they fit perfectly. I'm happy to have found that size and am glad it is offered by Rockport. I'll be looking at other styles/colors in that size to grow my comfortable shoe collection!

I have had a pair of Rockport shoes for a very long time. Those shoes finally needed to be replaced so I looked around and finally found my new shoes. While the price had increased quite a bit I decided to buy my new Rockports. I only hope they will last as long as those I replaced. We shall see.

I owned this model shoe for about 5 years & was generally happy with them. The only issue I had was it was difficult to get them on without "roll down" of the raised area at the back of the shoe. This was especially noticeable with the new pair. In fact, it is difficult to get them on (can't get shoe horn into shoe behind my heal). This will likely be less a problem with time. The shoes are comfortable once they are on.

These are durable shoes that hold up to a great deal of wear. I'm glad Rockport still makes them after all these years.
However, the insole that comes with them is terrible--you'll want to buy some insoles from the pharmacy.

I bought a pair for Christmas. The size was right and I have worn them a few times. These are good looking walking shoes. I do a lot of light hiking in the country and walking in cities. These are perfect for a long walk and then going to a non casual restaurant where tennis shoe would be inappropriate. I have over 15 pair of Rockport shoes. I bought my first pair at age 26 for trades shows and have bought many more over the years.

This is a very good looking shoe. I have wide feet which makes buying shoes a pain but Rockport was never a problem for me. The 4E was always perfect for me. This shoe is stiff and the leather is hard. I took it to the shoe store to stretch it for me but its gonna tak a lot of breaking in time. This Xwide is more like a 2E. I may just update this in 2 weeks to let you know how its going...

I have been looking for a replacement for my women's Rockport walking shoe and couldn't find it in the current offerings. I thought it so unfair that men had all these great walking shoes that weren't sneakers. Here in NYC it gets cold so sneaker- weight shoes weren't enough.
Then I wondered if I could wear a comparable men's shoe. Sure enough, the ratios were 1.5 to 1 (women's size to men)
I ordered size 8 men to fit my 9 1/5 women's foot and got a great fit and a warm shoe. Really happy with my choice!

I bought these shoes a week ago and already they are my everyday shoes. They are a good fit and solid construction. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the shoe laces are a little short. Another 1 1/2 to 2 inches on the laces and they would earn the fifth star.

The fit is what I expected. I did order them 1/2 size than usual because the first pair at 7 1/2 were a bit snug. I have low ankle bones so the top of the shoe around the ankle is causing some discomfort but I expect that to go away with breaking them in .

I wear 16W and they need to be cut a little wide. These are just W not EW so they fit but if they were a bit more generous that would be better. I had the older style of these in the past Brown Size 15W I thought they were more comfy overall. These are very good shoes, a bit of a hard type feel to the walk, not overly forgiving on rough or uneven terrain like some of my other brands. I'm not new to Rockports, have had a number over the years. Well constructed, laces short and should be longer, not sure why. FOUR STARS

I have had This style shoe for years. They wear well. The newer versions do not have as much cushion in the insole. But all in all they are great.

They fit well, and I like them. I’ve had several pair, so it was a direct swap. The heel area of my old pair had fallen and was causing some pain. That has gone away with this new pair.

The World Tour Men's Classic Shoe has been my go-to summer shoe for many years. The two (maybe three?) previous pairs of this shoe had longer tongues, by perhaps 1/2", than the most recent pair being reviewed here. What a difference that 1/2" made--the longer tongue prevented top of the shoe from biting into my ankles. The new shoes have relaxed a bit in the two months I've been wearing them daily, and my ankles don't hurt as much. Can that missing 1/2" of tongue be restored to future production runs?

This is my second pair of World Tour Classics and I still love them! They run a little small so I ordered a half size larger than I usually wear and they fit perfectly. They are great shoes and I hey last a long time. I recommend these shoes!
