I'm so glad that Rockport still makes this shoe, after 15 years it's still my favorite. My foot size has increased with age and weight and I now wear an arch support which not all shoes will accommodate. My only request would be that they put a less smooth outer sole. I've slipped a lot in rain, snow, or ice and had a very bad fall last winter. I will probably purchase another Rockport Astride for the winter season because of the better grip. A perfect shoe for me would be the Astride sole and the World Tour Classic Upper.

Great Shoe and great service - We were going on a cruise and needed a comfortable walking shoe for the on-shore excursions. He already had a pair of these shoes so knew they were comfortable. I immediately ordered him a new pair which arrived a day later so we didn't have to go to any stores plus could get the size he needed. Great shoe and great service from Zappos.

Replacement Pair - I bought these to replace a pair of Rockports that had worn thin on the soles. I tried to get the soles replaced on the old pair since the uppers were in great shape but couldn't find a shop that could replace the soles. The new shoes fit as well as the old pair. The uppers appear to be different material. For the record, I am not sure if these shoes are the same model. I was pleased with the old pair and expect the new pair to work out as well as the older pair.

Great Fitting Shoe… Just want to say that this shoe fits true to size, feels great on my feet. Worth the price… great color also.

Classy Comfort - These shoes are attractive enough to wear with business attire and yet comfortable enough with great support to wear for long walking events and trips. I ordered a second pair in a different color 2 weeks after using the first pair.

The only thing he will wear! I bought these for my husband, I tried a different shoe that was on sale elsewhere and he would not wear it. I hope Rockport keeps making these for a while...he wears them to work everyday, and says they are the most comfortable shoes he owns, even better then his sneakers.

This shoe is just what I was looking for. I like the style and it is comfortable. As I continue to wear it, as in most shoes, I am confident it will 'soften' a little. I had a professional shoe shine done and they fit well with my business casual attire.

I've used this shoe for several years. As a teacher that travels to several buildings every day and on my feet for most of the day. I need a solid shoe that is narrow enough for my feet. This shoe fits the need well. Thanks.

This is my 3rd pair. I have pronated feet, and this shoe has been instrumental in making this better, and it works with the orthotics. This brand was recommended by the doctor.

I LOVE MY ROCKPORTS! These are the best shoes I have ever worn. I have re-ordered these exact same model Rockports twice before in the last 5 eight yrs. I wear them Every Day and the only thing that seems to wear out are the laces. The soles always wear very evenly and last a very long time. I wear these shoes in the office and often in the field and they hold up extremely well. I have orthotics and sometimes it’s very hard to find shoes or sneakers that will accept them and still be comfortable to wear, but these shoes work fine with them. Depending on the sizes I have ordered, I can leave the inner soles in or out.

Good shoe - This is my second pair of the Rockport World Tour Classics. My ONLY complaint is that Rockport discontinued the color I originally wore. The first pair lasted 9 years with regular saddle soap applications. Not a dress up shoe, but a great daily wear.

A walking winner - Very comfortable shoe. No need to break in. Well cushioned.

Supreme comfort! I ordered these shoes, for the first time, last year and liked them so much I ordered them again. I wear them for school everyday, walking literally miles across campus, and these Rockports stay comfortable all day, with no break-in time! Zappos service is incredible, too! Thanks!!

Love those Rockports! My husband has Rheumatoid Gout and has a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable for him. He has a large, narrow foot, so shoes are a problem. He recently had another "bump" appear on the side of his right foot. I checked with Zappos and found just the right size in a nice Rockport shoe. We tried a size larger than before and it worked just perfect! The workmanship and quality of the leather is great. He is very happy with his new shoes.

Great Comfortable Shoe! LOVE it. There's nothing worse than getting a Wide shoe and having to break it in. There's none of that with this shoe and it's ready to go from day one.

Comfortable shoe for long hours on your feet - My wife ordered a brown pair of this shoe for me and I liked them so much that she got a black pair as well. I am a teacher and endure long hours on my feet without a break. These shoes are great for that as well as for walking. They also retain their shape and good looks unlike many other walking shoes that become "old" looking when they are relatively new. I would highly recommend them.

Rockport wide - Exactly what I ordered. Perfect fit, room, comfort. Looks great with jeans, shorts and casual slacks.

A wonderful shoe - My husband has many problems with his feet and only wears Rockport. He reports that the Rockport World Tour Classic sport shoe is one of his most comfortable...nice looking, too!

Rockport glad I bought them - Very nice looking lightweight comfortable shoe. I have a lot of back and knee problems. If I wear the wrong shoe it doesn’t take long for me to become aware that I have on the wrong shoe. Put them on the day I got them and wore them all day and was like the shoe was already broke in and has not cause any problems with back or knees. I am very happy.

Old man - As an old man who has had a stroke, it is a fine shoe to help me keep my balance. Thank you Rockport!!!

HARD TO PLEASE - I am 6'5" and wear a 13W. Zappos has made it possible for me to find the shoes that I need for work, and for casual wear. I've never been a good shopper. Zappos is one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had. Their service is as great as their shoes.

Heaven on Earth - A shoe is, after all, just a shoe, but it if doesn't fit then it becomes a reminder of our frailty and mortality. My recent purchase and use of the Rockport Classic fit perfectly, feeling almost like a comfortable old shoe from the very first day. Walking in this shoe was like a stroll through heaven without having to die.

Rockport walking shoe - My husband loves these shoes and because he wears a 13 Narrow this type of shoe is hard to find. Zappos got it to us the next day! We were delighted both with Zappos and Rockport!

Excellent shoe, excellent price!! This is a great shoe at a great price. Very comfortable and able to work as a casual shoe or semi-dress shoe. I wear really wide shoes (4E) and it's hard to find nice shoes that are this wide. Zappos got them to me faster than expected and they continue to have the best stock of shoes anywhere, period.
