Buying shoes without trying them on is risky. I bought these shoes because there were so many reviews that were positive. Also, many reviews mentioned how well the shoe ages with use. My priority is function-over-form and durability. It is indeed a comfortable and supportive shoe. I work in business casual clothes and am on my feet all day long. So I appreciate comfort & support. It is too soon to address the shoe's durability. The styling is a bit frumpy for a business shoe, but the styling is not misrepresented.

I love the Rockport World Tour Classic shoes! I wear them all the time -- they're very comfortable and versatile (great walking shoes -- casual enough for everyday wear, and dressy enough for parties, social events, etc.)! I've owned 8 of these shoes, and they last a long time! Highly recommended!

Overall I really like these shoes and will probably buy them again. I have some back trouble (mild spondylolisthesis & scoliosis) and these shoes seem to help a bit. I used to wear New Balances, but find these to be much more comfortable and supportive; they're not much more expensive than the NB's either. I have a very wide foot and ordered the XW (4E) size. They were a bit tight out of the box, but after breaking them in during a couple of uses I find them to be just right. My only complaint would be about the color. I ordered the chocolate color, which I received, but the photos on Zappos make them look quite a bit darker than they actually are. In real life, they are about the same color as the "sand" colored ones appear in the photos. For that reason, I gave them 3 stars on the style.

Rockport has taken care of my feet for years, and these are long time favorites. The mesh tongue lets them breathe better, and the real leather toe box shaped to my foot within 10 wearings - fast enough to be tolerable, but slow enough to indicate sturdy leather - and this is why I dinged them one star on comfort. I already plan to get another pair in brown.

Excellent footwear! Had one pair of this brand shoe, and they were my favorite amongst all my other over exaggerated, and over priced name brand sports ware shoes. I swear, the exterior and bottom soles of these shoes never, shown signs of wear 'n tear like most conventional "overpriced brand footwear". I had the one pair of Rockports for at least 11 years...continued wear, they were favored over my others because of the extreme comfort and ease of getting in and out of. Not to mention the resilience to different weather conditions, yet still maintain their external appeal. I got these pair of Rockports in 2000...after all I've put them through they've just now, and only the left bottom sole of shoe came apart! 2013 and only because I accidentally tread through some spilled chemicals. Honestly if I could rate these shoes higher than 5...screw it! I'm ranking them 10 stars and purchasing 2 pairs. I imagine between the 2 pair...should last me, this time around (upon the return of Jesus Christ, or the End of Mankind) either, or.

Most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. From the first moment of slipping them on, it is foot-bliss. I am a big fan of Rockport.

This is a great all around walker. For urban and light to medium trail walking. Great support and comfortable. Not too heavy for a day of travel walking.

I have been wearing Rockport World Tour Classic for many years. I originally ordered my size in the Chocolate Nubuck. However, it looked like the Sand Nubuck although the part numbers were correct on the box and on the shoe for the Chocolate Nubuck. I called Zappos directly and got an immediate exchange to the Brown Tumbled Leather. This was all done quickly and professionally, so I have to give credit to Zappos. I just did not want to order another Chocolate Nubuck and have the same problem. The shoe is a good fit for me and very satisfactory. It is very hard to find this style any place in my area, so Zappos serves my needs. The fit seems to be consistent with my other Rockport shoes of this style, and that was my interest. I do not know if there is a color inconsistency in the Nubuck styles, so this is not resolved. It is Zappos that makes the purchasing of what I like and fits easy.

Great walking shoe. Very comfortable and lightweight. Can wear with jeans, casual and business casual attire. This is my 3rd pair in 20 years.

I definitely recommend this shoe! I purchased in October of 2012 and just now, have purchased a replacement. I really only ever use one pair of shoes, with the exception of athletic shoes when I need them. With that said, I wore this shoe every day during this period. It performed quite nicely, and was also comfortable, though it felt a little bit big at first. The shoe seems to be fairly water resistant, and it is certainly durable. It polishes decently, though as I said before, it seems to be waterproofed, so the waterproofing has a tendency to resist polish application. This shoe works well in both casual and semi-formal occasions, and is therefore quite versatile. Overall, this shoe has outperformed any shoe that that I have bought before, and during my use of this shoe, I never once had to replace the laces. I personally will not be buying a replacement of this shoe because I am looking for something slightly more formal.

The Rockport World Tour Classic has been my work shoe of choice for years. After a few days of wearing my new Rockport's, I noticed that the upper leather of each shoe was different. I thought, "Oh no. I have worn the shoes and now I probably cannot return them." But no. I called my Zappos rep and they apologized for the inconvenience and shipped out a new replacement pair. Now that is excellent customer service. I love Zappos!

I recently started walking to the bus stop which is about 1.5 miles from my home. I wanted a pair of shoes that were appropriate for work but comfortable to walk in. When I first put them on they felt really hard and I was afraid they would not be comfortable but they have turned out to be excellent. I will note that I prefer flat shoes such as New Balance Minimus but those are definitely not "business casual."

This is the best shoe on the market. I just purchased my third pair. I wear these every day and walk over three miles a day at work. The nubuck finish stays fresh looking even after a year. The shoes are durable and last and last. These are the best shoes I have ever purchased and I have a hard to fit (wide) and high arch. The only thing that outshines this product is Zappos' service.

Excellent everyday walking shoe. My last pair of Rockports lasted me 10 years before the gave out, so I bought another pair. While they may not be the most stylish shoe on the market, they are comfortable, well built, and look nice with khaki pants or a pair of jeans.
