Great shoe for use in a Sprint Triathlon. With the flat sole they are easy to use on the bikeride and then you can quickly dismount and start the short 3 mile run.

This shoe was true to size and the third pair I've bought. I wear each pair out! They are a great shoe to walk in and I would recommend them to anyone-any age. They look good, and feel even better!

Give the fit a chance - I bought the shoe primarily because it was all white with almost no decoration/advertising. Reviews correctly noted that the shoe felt larger than marked, so I bought a half-size smaller than usual. Nevertheless, the shoe was very loose around the heel. After a few weeks, my heel stopped slipping. I would buy the shoe again.

Great Fit - Great fit... BUT somewhat squeaky.

Bring this shoe back!! I love the MX 608. I have owned a pair for more than 6 years, but they are about worn completely out. I tried both the MX 609 and MX 620 as replacements, but neither fit my foot or felt as comfortable to me as this shoe. I was ecstatic when Zappos added some in my 12-4E size to their inventory, when I thought the shoe had been discontinued.

Lighter than I expected - These shoes feel lighter than I expected for a cross trainer. Good ankle support.

An overall comfortable shoe that looks good with anything.

Another comfortable fit for postal feet - I bought 2 pairs, white for play and black for work, a worker friend ask me the other evening why I was looking at my feet and smiling, I was in the 11th hour of a 12 hour day and My feet felt great! I work on my feet all night and I am not a small guy, these shoes have room for an orthotic if needed and they feel true to size.

The Best - Without a doubt the 608's are the most comfortable and durable shoes I have ever owned. I got a pair of white 608's 4 years ago and they are somewhat worn, but still can do yard work and such in them. The soles are still in tact and there are no holes in them. Getting a new pair of white ones real soon.

My first purchase at Zappos - The customer service via phone was the best I have ever received from any purchase, from now on I will buy all my shoes from Zappos.

GET THIS SHOE, NURSES! If you spend time on your feet as a nurse and want to leave work without that sore feet and leg syndrome, get this shoe. I niether work for New Balance or own stock in them (although, I should!) I don't understand why New Balance doesn't market themselves as "THE NURSES BEST FRIEND." These beat "Nursemates", Clogs, or any other company that markets themselves as a "friend" of nurses.

Awsome Shoe - I have been wearing the New Balance MX 608, for a number of years, somewhere around 8 or 9. Prior to wearing New Balance, my brand name shoe of choice was Reebok, and Nike. However, when I was hired as a Valet at the MGM Grand, and still wearing Reebok, they did not last or feel good while wearing them. I noticed that a few of the guys were wearing New Balance 608 in black, since it was the only color we were able to wear. Needless to say, I went out and bought pair and was sold on New Balnace from that day forward. Soon after purchasing a pair for work, I went out and purchased a pair for every day, and a pair for when I went out. My work shoes have always been black, and my everyday and going out shoes have been white. Not only do they feel great and look great, they are also so light and durable. Once again, this is an awsome shoe!!! Thank You

I just bought what is likely my TWENTIETH pair of BLACK 608's. That alone should tell you exactly how I feel about this shoe. I was lucky enough to find a pair at Meijer in my size and width. It's an absolute shame but it seems as though they're getting more difficult to find. Let's hope this is only a glitch in the distribution system and they're not being phased out all together.

Most comfortable shoe I've ever worn - I'll never buy any other athletic shoe because these are so comfortable. I have large flat feet and these give support everywhere I need it. I have probably owned at least 20 pairs in the last several years.

This shoe is the most comfortable shoe that I have ever woren. I use to wear Nike Air and found the 608 shoe when I was going on a trip to Wyoming. I didn't even have to break these in. Why are they so hard to find now?

Short and Wide-Feet that is! Long wearing and comfortable. Best shoe for the money that I have ever owned.

2nd pair of MX608 - Zappos has given me great service on every order I have ever placed with them.The 608s are good shoes for the money. The uppers don't seem to be as heavily constructed as other NB shoes I have purchased in the past. Maybe a sign of the times.

Too narrow - I had to return the shoe as it was too narrow. I've never had to buy wide shoes. I just ordered a pair in wide (EE) to see if they will work. I few reviews mentioned these felt narrow. I've seen reviews for other shoes that said the same, although they were fine for me. The shoe appears to be long enough, just not wide enough across the toes/ball of the foot. I wear a lot of Ecco shoes and Salomon in regular width, no problem. We'll see.
